annee simas: Friendly staff but if you want your test done once and no run around, go elsewhere. The owner of the business is rarely in the state and was stand-off-ish on the phone when I tried to clairify charges...specific words were ‘I don’t understand what your problem is’. I was given the impression the lab they send to isn’t even in the state of Michigan so the likelihood for bloodwork going bad is high, which means another visit for you.

Allison Beshears: I would recommend never going here. First of all they do not accept any form of insurance so you will pay $90+ for a lady to tell you not to drink the water in Mexico (duh) plus hundreds for whatever shots they might recommend. After calling and calling trying to set up an appointment with no one answering/ calling me back during the hours they are open, I finally had my Beaumont physician’s office call them, to which they lied about the situation (thx Linda). And I just received another incorrect bill in the mail from them for the same thing I had already paid for in person after the visit. I think I would rather get typhoid fever then have to deal with this incompetence again.

Corinne Gross: The night before my scheduled appointment I came down with a terrible bug -- the exorcist pea soup plus fever kind of sick. I called the next morning to explain why I needed to cancel, and the receptionist was incredibly rude, speaking to me like I was a kid trying to get out of a school assignment. He informed me that I would be charged the cancellation fee unless I came in, despite being incredibly sick. I'm not sure how he expected me to drive to the office - with a bucket on my lap? He seemed completely unconcerned about my health and safety, or of those at the clinic.Thankfully the Oakland County Department of Health offers the advice and travel vaccines I need at a fraction of the cost.

Amy Stuyvesant: We were able to make a Saturday appointment and received a discount for combining our consultations. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, I highly recommend using this clinic for your travel immunizations as well as advice on other products you may need (mosquito protection, food poisoning protecyion, etc)

Daniel Gold: My girlfriend and I made a Saturday afternoon appointment to get all of our shots and pills for an upcoming trip to South America. They were ready and waiting for us to arrive and we were in and out in less than a half hour with everything we needed.The woman who worked with us (sorry I forgot your name!) was great. Very knowledgeable and direct with her answers. She told us exactly what we needed and suggested a lot of great additional products for avoiding mosquitoes without trying to push them on us or upsell in any way. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a trip coming up.To those who say that it is "overpriced"-----------really? The fact that vaccinations are expensive is ridiculous but not this clinics fault. I've done this 3 times at different locations and the prices were similar. The woman who worked with us was very direct about what shots/pills we could get at any CVS or Dr. Office, and which are usually only available at a specialized clinic like this. Maybe do your due diligence beforehand and take control of what you can, instead of misdirecting your blame. Or, please let me know where you can get typhoid pills or yellow fever vaccinations cheaper???

Cara Rein: Told me that I could submit my visit to my insurance to be reimbursed. $400 for things that could have been covered at my doctors office. Due to my type of insurance they didn't cover any of it. Wish they would have asked if I could go to out of network location, before suggesting that I could submit to my insurance. Only go here as a complete last resort. Waste of money and completely frustrating.

Danny Inman: It's a solid service, and the nurse who gives the medication seems knowledgeable and nice. The information is valuable. However:The only issue I have is the environment where one tries to decide the balance between what's needed and how much to pay. The nurse who gives the vaccines also collects payment, and it can be tense when trying to turn down recommended treatment because it's expensive.It could be improved by having the prices before seeing the nurse and having privacy to decide what to afford.If you have a primary care doctor to give the adult vaccinations like polio booster, do that in a place that accepts insurance.

Erika Patterson: Horrible customer service, I have never traveled out of country & I did not know that my insurance did not cover out of country immunizations as I was informed later. I made a appointment last week & submitted insurance info over and one lady said she could not tell me what I would have to pay out of pocket if insurance did not pay. Before my appointment time today, I called back just to see if it was covered before I went to my appointment & I was told by the office it was not covered. A rude lady said " I left you a voicemail informing you it was not covered! & U had a appointment with us already. I told her that I was googling traveling clinic's b/c they lady prior could not give me a price on out of pocket fees, but this rude lady told me the out of pocket costs, this all I wanted to know in the beginning. I said, excuse me you do not have to be so nasty about it. I was asking a question b/c this is all new to me If people don't know something that's why they ask questions. She implies, I'm not being nasty! Well.. do you want to schedule another office visit?? NO THANK YOU!!! This call transpired @ 1:25pm 12/26/19. I do not want to go anywhere where people talk to potential patients like this.
