E Tucker: I am not one for doing reviews, but being a business owner myself I had to write one. I have to say my experience with Mike felt like a partnership from the get go. Mike and Young Bowling & Trophy is one of my customers. He call us looking for our product. I made a delivery to him and from the moment I walked in door I knew this was going to be something special. We began to talk business and I felt like I have known this man for years. I have been back to see Mike many times since my first experience. Mike is so knowledgeable I had to pick his brain. I brought in my favorite laid out ball, my previous drill sheet measurements and one of my many undrilled bowling balls. This is where Mike does his magic! He looked at my drilled ball looked at my drill sheet did some measuring and said there is something wrong here. I said what’s up Mike. He said your drill sheet doesn’t match your ball at all. I said what?? Things don’t match up. Right then and ther I said Mike I trust you. Drill me this new ball to the same drill pattern as my old ball. He said your old ball is a asymmetrical and the new one is symmetrical but I can do this. So Mike proceeded to take measurements off the old ball and draw on the new ball. I said Mike I’m having a wrist and thumb issue. He says let me see what you have going on. I said Mike this is your ball to do what you think is best to help me out. He is like are you sure . I said of course. Fix me up. I tell you the changes he suggested were absolutely spot on. Mike made the entire process for me the most enjoyable experience I have had in many many years. My first night out with the ball I shot a 209, respectable score for first time using it. The proceeded to get comfortable with the ball and shot 268,266 for a nice 743 series. No thumb pain, no wrist issue. This man is a genius. If you are I need of bowling equipment and haven’t bowled in a few years I suggest you go see Mike and get a refit. You will not be disappointed. For me owning my own business and also working a customer service job during the day hours. This man knows how to give great customer service and a great experience. I now have an awesome PSO and a friend for life. Thanks again Mike you are the best! I’m looking forward to the new one ball coming in! See you soon! 🎳

I rarely review but Mike and Young bowling deserve it! I have been a house ball 160s average for the last few years and decided to finally get a ball. Mike took the time to understand my form, ball path and many other things before even giving a suggestion. Went with the Hammer purple pearl 16# and omg what a game changer. Threw a 670 series with a new high score of 257 on my first night with the ball. Mike was insanely friendly, and made the entire process for me enjoyable. If you need any type of gear this is the ONLY place to go. By far the best customer service I’ve received at any point in my life. Thanks again mike you are the best!!! We will be back 👍

After noticing my local Things Remembered had closed its doors and after getting rejected for doing an outside engraving by one business, I found Sami’s Engravings in Troy. She was honest in expressing that she would need to see my item to evaluate if engraving was possible at her store which was no issue since I had a flat, thicker, glass surface for which I wanted engraved.I came in Tuesday afternoon for her to complete an engraving by Thursday afternoon. But she was able to get it done and I picked it up in less than 24 hours! The process was able to move quickly because she was technologically savvy enough to shoot me texts for when she sent me emails as I am much slower to respond to emails. This allowed to me approve of the design swiftly so she could do her part to meet an aggressive deadline. And she did it all with kindness and a serving spirit!I would definitely come back to get my nephew’s baptism gift engraved (once I figure out what I am getting him)! I will also be telling my friends and coworkers about her store for their gifting needs!
