Brian: They do great work, but they’re too expensive now for changing out tires after they changed their prices. It’s easy to find cheaper elsewhere. And sometimes they’re too busy to even be able to get in.

Newaz Rahman: Used them a few times due to being local. But it’s been Hit/Miss kind of service. Their install prices have gone up significantly compared to every other tire shop in the greater metro Detroit area. Most places will charge under 100 bucks to mount and balance 4 customer supplied tires. This place quoted me 150 bucks for that. I understand due to inflation cost for everything has gone up, but to rip off customers for a tire change? No thanks! I’ll take my business elsewhere.

At least you get better customer service at a franchise.Walked in and stood there for 10 mins , could not see anyone at the counter, so I peeked inside the garage to see if someone is there. Seen a group of people hanging around in the garage. When they saw me one of them told in a rude manner I 'will be there, I will be there' (twice) before I even say anything. Then waited for another 5to10 mins left the place. Guess pandemic Grant given some of the businesses super power!

Inflation must of hit them hard because I have been using them for the past 5 years this year when I went to get my tires swapped I was most definitely overcharged for tire mounting. I happily paid it didn’t complain but will no longer be returning I understand everyone has to make a living but sad that discount beats them by about 40 dollars now! Wish they took care of returning customer better!

william vee: I enquired about new rims and tires for my wife's suburban and rio really took care of me. I am in North Carolina and he video chatted with me and asked me a bunch of questions to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. Gave me the price ( which was $500 cheaper then the other 4 places I looked) wasn't pushy or pressure me into a quick sale. Just said, " look around some more if you want and let me know if I can help you out." I was a little nervous buying from a different state but everything worked out perfectly. I got the rims and tires in four days delivered to my houseMounted, balanced with new tps sensors. The new black rims looked awesome and packaged extremely well, not a scratch on any of them. I put them on myself and took them for a drive. Got up to 85 mph and not a hint of vibration! A quick 10 minute stop at my local tire shop to program the new tps sensors and I was in my way. If you or anyone else is looking for wheels and tires definitely let Rio help you out! You won't be disappointed!!!

Well it all started getting recommended for this place that was a big mistake, come to find out I could have gotten the same tires and free rotation at discount and had better customer service than this place. This place however overcharged me on the tires and charged me extra for rotating the tires on a program. Which I could never get in to set an appointment because they were never available or had no time to do it when I requested it or kept telling me it'll be a month out then a call back a month later and still they couldn't do it so basically yeah I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Will stick with discount tire. Not this place.

Holly Wright: Our alternator started to break down and we just hardly made it to the Bonus Tire/Michelin shop in Sterling Heights on Van Dyke road. The people working there were rude and said they were too busy to even take a look or tell us what was wrong so we could start problem solving. They wouldn’t even give us the time of day to test our battery. We were 9 hours from home with a newborn in a heat advisory and They just basically said tough luck we will try to take a look on Monday because they were done at 2:00, no further help offered. Luckily My husband found an auto zone a 1/2 mile away and walked there and returned with a worker who drove his own vehicle to give us a jump and get us to the auto zone parking lot. Josh was so kind and helpful! Installed a new alternator and battery for free (we gave him a very nice tip and review for all his help). To the people at Bonus Tire I hope you never find yourself broken down with a baby in 95 degrees in-front of people capable of helping you but too rude and unwilling to do so.
Dave Tank: I had a flat tire (spare on vehicle, flat tire in trunk) that I brought to them, with no appointment... They took it right in, found the leak, plugged it, re-mounted the tire, put away the spare and jack neatly, and even put the wheel lock back in the glovebox without asking, all at a very reasonable price. Was in and out in 45 minutes.

I brought my car there that I just bought it had vibrations the previous owner said there's 2 different size tires i told them to check out see maybe the tires have to switched maybe they have the tires balanced i don't what it is thats what I told him find out for me. he switched the tires I said it might be they didn't need to be changed out in first place and they charged for it and plus they couldn't even figure out thats its a rack and pinion there not that good of mechanics they charged me $80 for 15 minutes of work and no answers or fixes. They mark up their parts high and their labor is high too.

When I Picked up my truck the steering was still off and pulling to the right side, took it to different shop they said it needed ball joints and sway bar link was broke, was told from the other shop they don’t see how anyone could of done alignment on it.

First off I'm missing 1 lug now and second they stripped another so bad I now have to have it re-thread the lug nut stud so I can get the one on properly. Never again will I go here and the only reason I went in the first place is they were one of the only places open. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone! And it's actually 2 studs that we're stripped and had to be re-thread.

My problem is the tires shake alot, not balanced correctly , not even wear and they lost air the first night i went home. For that price i wouldve thought i would be getting great condition used tires. I ended up getting them taken off and put back on with proper sealant , and rebalanced at a local tire shop. I stay far from this place otherwise i would have come back to talk to them about it.

I called this place, they were unwilling to accept that they were wrong on their tires, and refuse to replace or even help me on this tire charged $75/ tire!!!. Never in my life would I ever recommend anybody to come to this place. Their tires are not even like real tires, so if they promise you that oh, run the other way oh, because these tires were all garbage from them oh, and they were unwilling to accommodate or even listen to my concerns. You are wasting your time and your money if you mess with this place at all. Scam artists!!! Wouldn't even answer my call after called back numerous times. Please do not waste your money here

Newaz Rahman: I brought a full set of my own tires to have them installed at Discount tire - a service which they offer to do. Mind you these are my old tires, albeit not new; they are 1 year old and still had 10/32 tread left, so 90%+ life still in them. Got there at 3pm. They tell me it will be 45 mins until my car is looked at and another 30 mins to have the tires installed. So I decided to patiently wait. They get to my car at 3:45pm and immediately refuse to install the tires because there was a very small surface cut on the block of the tread, which did not penetrate, but they did not want to install it for their own liability reason, which is understandable. So I said okay fine, can you install 2 tires on 1 axle? They refused to do that because my car is AWD. I politely packed all my stuff in the car, got in the car and drove to a local tire shop up the road to have it installed for cheaper.
Daniel Rits: I’ve been going to this discount for the last 10 years, today will be the final time my family or anyone I know goes back to this place, they seem to have a bogus excuse to why they can’t patch a tire, this is the 4th time within a year I’ve brought one of my cars here to be patched and was not taken care of all 4 times so I went a mile down to pep boys who had no problem patching it and got it done in 30 min. Heather: I made an appointment to get my tire patched because I had a flat thanks to a screw. It took less than the estimated time to get it done and when completed I was so surprised when I was told there's no charge!! I was so caught off guard when he handed me my receipt I didnt know what to say. I asked and got quickly told it was for safety. I was so pleasantly surprised it made the rest of my day just a little better.

When you’re told it’s a 2.5 hour wait, plan ahead to have a ride or pay extra for a Uber as this place has the most boring waiting room!!Since tire are competitive and don’t differ in price from other suppliers, I’ll be looking for another place that caters to the customer on waiting room benefits or next door to restaurant.Edit update: found My New Pl., Belle, tire on van Dyck. Ms. Keke: Terrible experience. Another lady and I waited in the air check lane for 20 minutes or more and still wasn’t recognized/acknowledged. The both of us tried calling and they didn’t answer the phone. It took for me to drive to the front door and go in. Two guys came out of the office talking and giggling like they actually had the time to do that! I explained to them how long we’ve been waiting and no one has given us a ETA, a wave or anything. Of course they blamed it on staffing but couldn’t explain why they had the time to have a chit chat and giggle session in the office. One even being the manager! So after time wasted, that we can’t obviously get back, we finally got the air service, just 30 minutes later.

I went to get my tire inspected {due to previously being told the day before my tire had a slow leak by Discount TIRE ASSOCIATE} my anti lock break, abs light & traction light was all on. I immediately asked for a manager where he rudely stated" How do I know the lights were not already on" he dismissed me immediately leaving me confused and in absolute shock. I immediately received my onstar notification stating there is an issue with my anti lock brakes. My EQUINOX WAS FINE Prior. I will be taking my vehicle to my mechanic and will also be contacting a LAWYER for any REPAIRS that have resulted in DISCOUNT TIRE IN STERLING Heights incompetence and RUDE TECHNICIANS.

Jin Simmz: I'll say this couple of months ago I came in and I had a tire that needed to be taken off and it took a while to get off and they worked really hard to do it and thank you so much for that good job twins now two months later I end up having some problems with my van I drop it off they went beyond good job great job that's all I can say amazing when they said they were going to call they gave me a call when they wanted me to call they said hey give me a call and then I did great great they took care of me they did extra stuff they even the picture that I showed that shows that my bumper was kind of just hang in there they put a screw in it so it stops slapping that's amazing to me my van was kind of running all not very fun I feel like I can actually go to Toledo zoo within safety and not feel like I'm going to die I recommend these guys whoever's working there right now is awesome like good job thanks twins I will be back for sure anything ever needs to be done thanks for taking care of me right that's hard to find

I brought one of my cars in today that I had purchased new tires and tire pressure sensors and need to get the new tires mounted, balanced & programmed. They got me right in. I was there no more than about an hour and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend.

Michael Piotrowski: Was an ok experience but the tires were very used with many plugs. my front end was making a loud vibration noise after install come to find out they never put wheel weights on the rims at all. Id most likely not come back here again for used tires. The one star review is for the quality and professionalism when my wheels were not balanced period.Update: took back up to location they did balance them but the tires are still vibrating with excessive road noise i will never come back to this place of businessDO NOT get tires here unless you want problems that come with a cheap price tag

Mykohl Hawkins: Would not go there again. When I pulled up I was the only car there it took them ten minutes to acknowledge I was there. I called prior to ask if they had my tire because my usual shop was out they quoted me $50 for tire and mounting on the phone after they put on tire they then told me it $10 extra for mount and balance then tell me $5 for disposal and then charged me tax on a used tire I would not recommend this place I will let my tire fall off before I let them change another.

As I got older and married I started getting my tires here. He gives great used tires, but most of the time I purchased new tires. I used to love the white walls for my '79 Monte Carlo. This is the fairest place to get your tires from. Now, I travel from Ann Arbor, Michigan to get my tires. This has been a place near and dear ti my family for over forty years.
