International Velodrome at Bloomer Park: what do users think?
Nicholas: Very fast.
Barnabas A. Christian: Built years ago to high expectations + fanfare.NowDecayNeglectAnd an enkept eyesore
Brent Bacher: Great place to ride your bike!
Ewerton Lelinski Marin: Look cool outside. When you are inside you can see how bad is the track. Also you need to sign a "from" to ride and pay a fee. If was well maintained I agree but that it's not the case. Also you need to have a class. The worst is that you just know that once you arrived there. That means you need to go during any day to find out when is the class. To resume...fee...class...not information...bat maintenance... I recomend you find another to go.
Zero Chill “jimmy tattoo” Inc.: Love this park
Alan Wrench: Saw some people riding on a wall here like aliens woah boy super nuts
J K: Pretty neat experience, learned a lot from the guy running the place. Super friendly and willing to talk to a bunch of young boy scouts about the history and popularity of the sport. Worthy of a look if your in the park already.
Alexis Slade: Awesome park, full of friendly staff. Biking trail was difficult!
Donna Navarre: Nice family park
Jst33zy3: Have yet to watch a race at this location and it looked a bit as if it needed some cleaning and updating. Nice park though.
Aaron Bennett: Really cool to look at I wouldn't try riding on it myself but I am not a pro road bike racer it is cool to see even if you don't ride bikes and the surrounding park is great.
MICHELLE “Micki” KRAUSE: This is a great place to go for a long walk in beautiful trails be careful of the bikes but the hiking is wonderful
Anthony Bruley: This is one of Michigan's most unique and exciting race venues. The velodrome hosts racing almost every Friday night at 7:30 throughout the summer. (Check the IVBP schedule for exact dates). The races feature the best local amateurs and also attracts national and international competitors at some of the signature events. You can come and watch on Fridays or get involved yourself by renting a bike during the week day evenings and Saturday mornings (again check the schedule for exact times and dates). The track is run by volunteers and is a nonprofit benefiting the racers especially juniors and teens. Kids race and train for free. Adults pay by the day or annual user fee. Great place to experience bicycle track racing and exercise if your ready for excitement and trying something new! (Actually track racing has been around for almost a hundred years in Detroit. Olympia Stadium was originally built to host indoor track racing but hockey eventually became more popular, thus Detroit became Hockeytown).

Lexus Velodrome: what do users think?
Rhino Atlas: It’s very loud when it rains.
Patrick M. O'Connor: We had a blast at the 8-Bit Con, and found some great deals on retro vgs and comics. The cyclists racing around the track while we played Nintendo and GameCube was a bonus.
Latanya Davis: I was invited to all stars birthday party & I had a nice time I love their lil booths they have set up & the ladies were a pleasure with their service in the booth , it's was good vibes
Glenn OConnor: Sign up for the 101 class (free for 18 years old and younger) and learn to ride the Velodrome. Or just come and watch the races until you get enough nerve to try it out yourself!
charlie adams: Way to much fun! Once I learned how the scoring worked time flew by! I recommend it to all my friends and it’s been a hit
Will Ross: Brilliant facility with 166m track that's usable on a $40 day pass.
Kelvin Wallace: Well hidden gem, something different
Paul Ellinger: My son and I had never been to any type of bicycle racing. This was a fantastic way to start. It was exciting, fast paced and easy to see from anywhere in the venue. Highly recommend!
Doreen Hunter: Love LEXUS VELODROME !!
Marquita Tucker, MBA: The Lexus Velodrome is an awesome place to go for entertainment, fitness, drinks, skating, and more.
Debbie Hefka: Best evening of sport in town. Go go go to the bike races.
Lee Pitts: Place is awesome!A well kept secret, lol
Deborah Hill: Cool place. They have bike racing and inline skating. Can rent space for private parties.
Kamaria Abdullah: Great experience! My kids loved it and so did I. A nice place to take the family to stay active during these cold winter months. Ride bikes, skate or just walk. Budget friendly and fun!
黄硕: 可太好玩了!!教练也很认真负责
Todd Kropp: Learn to ride program is awesome! Highly recommend for kids. Staff were super helpful and encouraging.
Asja Smith: Parking could be explained a little better. Venue is great. The bathroom situation is TERRIBLE
OneMedia Detroit: This is a very nice place to hold any event... Very Sexy...❤ and can be sporty too, since that's what it was made for..
Tunesia Turner: My son learned how to ride his bike here. Coach Joaquin was patient and amazing. Unfortunately, some of the other staff is not. Specifically Coach Luke. He lacks tact and was rude and disrespectful to our group. It always baffles me, that white people think that black children need to be policed & heavily monitored. And that black families don’t deserve to be treated like valued customers.
Kebina Young: If I could have made this review without giving any stars I would have. Just had an absolutely horrific experience here. The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful to my two young children, ages 4 and 7. There are no other participants on site today - it is literally empty - because school is out for the long holiday weekend I decided to bring the two young ones here so they could ride and walk while I attempted to get a little bit of work done. Keep in mind- they are 4 and 7 - so are they always mindful about every single action? Usually not. But again, they are young kids, so consistent reminders and lots of patience are two key elements for any adult working with children. If you can’t exercise that, then you should not be in a position where you work with young children. My 7-year-old took off on the bike at one point, leaving his helmet on the table. He knows better, but was probably excited. The woman here yelled at him. I instructed him to come back and put his helmet back on. The final straw was the man berating him for stopping too quickly once which makes a squeaking sound and (for those of us who ride - we understand that this isn’t good for the bike so I understand the concern - it is the inappropriate manner and tone of his reproach that struck an uncomfortable chord with me) that he would have to be responsible for paying for repairs and going on and on - to a 7-year-old! I quickly stepped in and directed him to speak to me, not my son - that as the adults we should communicate with each other if he does not know how to communicate respectfully to my child. He told me to just leave then because he’s the coach. To which I replied, he’s not my son’s coach and if he can’t approach children with kindness and patience then he should not approach them at all. I am quite certain that had we been white these individuals would never have spoken in such a hateful, demeaning and belittling manner! I am disgusted and disappointed that this facility, which could serve a lot of good in the community, chooses to employ staff with temperaments not designed to work with diverse people. Thumbs down.
Miriam Devine: My son like the atmosphere of the place. HeLearned how to ride a bike for free.

Freedom Hill County Park: what do users think?
Kiss Simona: I love this place ❤️
Steve Obrzut: One of the best venues in Detroit. Great sight lines no matter where you sit. A smaller, more intimate version of DTE/Pine Knob
jerry b: It was awesome.Playground: Very cleanDog-friendliness: Lots of couples out there with their dogs.Picnic area: Very clean.
Yvette D: Really nice and well organized place. Staff was really nice.
McDowell Service6: Foods waggood.
Donald Bishop: Great place clean.. friendly staff... highly recommend!!!
j Steegman: Went to see Lamb of God there! Facility very clean and a well organized event!
Amanda Hodgins: Awesome place need to figure out a system for the traffic
Detroit Sniper: Great venue. Parking is close to doors. All the venders are in a small area just after the entrance. Quick walk to the seats and the sound quality is excellent for an outdoor theatre.
Jason Paeth: Only complaint staff is trouble at job and blames it on the proformera
Ms. GORE: Restrooms: Clean
Crystal Lynch: Went to see Kevin Gates. The place was very spacious and overall a really good time.
Michael St.John: Great park, lots to do. Drive in movies in the summer. Sadly, no dogs allowed.
Violeta Chavarria: Amazing venue tonight but (SECURITY) really needs to take a chill pill I work professionally for a company and no way for you to talk to someone so rudely. I said nothing rude to you and you lost your cool for absolutely no reason.
kris042971: Great place!!! But the woman in the pictures (employee Maria) shouldn't have a job!!! She constantly waves people to her section and let's them sit there even if they don't have seats there!!! We went to the bathroom and SHE GAVE OUR SEATS AWAY!!! We had been sitting there since before the concert even started!! And yes they were our purchased ticketed seats!!! She did this to many others around us.... sheathed tries to get you kicked out by security of you complain!!!! Other staff members stated she does this ALL THE TIME!! our friends that sat next to us told her we had just gone to the bathroom...our drinks and shirts were on our seats..she stated "oh well their not here now" reallly??!! She gave away the seats behind us when the actual ticket holder went to get drinks. She did this to numerous people. Spoke with management ( dark blue shirt white haired male) he didn't care...told her to stop but it continued all night... security told her to stop also. . But she didn't.
Gary Hall: I saw Jackson Browne here in the Summer . I had tickets for the lawn .I was pleasantly surprised with the view I had of the stage . It is a good venue . Be prepared for long line to get in . Being there early doesn't give you much of an advantage because the tight security requires searching through your things and metal detector. Which I am in favor of . You cannot bring any food or drinks in . That's where they get you , at the concession stands . Food and drink prices are outrageous. Other than these small things I liked the show here . Go if you find a show you like .Restrooms: Expect a line at the restroom.
Mike Borkowski: Great venue for a concert, beats Pine Knob. Parking needs to improve
Charreka Young: Went for the Alicia Keys concert, free parking, had a good time
jason: Good place to hear music. But $4.50 for a bottle of water and the drinking fountains have garbage bags over them. Sounds like gouging. Not allowed to take water in with you. 1250 for a beer and 1750 for a mixed drink is also a ripoff. Then to top off at night the concerts end very early because of city ordinances.
Brian Dickerson: Get place for a concert

Washington Square Park: what do users think?
Nick H.: Very nice courts. Fair sized playground. No restrooms. Cool community book donation box.
Nitty Gritty Mama: Great parking and a variable amount of playthings for all ages. My 3-year-old and 10-year-old both have a blast here. It can get busy in the evenings and parking is somewhat limited during peak hours, but during the day there are very few people here. This is a great park to quickly stop at on your way home from the grocery store!Playground: The playground is in a compact area but has so many different features. Lots of opportunity for climbing, stepping, sliding, and swinging.
Tamisha Finley: Wonderful park look and fell. Not too huge. Just nice and quiet. However, hoop nets are not large enough for a standard size basket ball. My son tried all 3 hoops and the ball became stuck in all three. Would give it 5 stars if not for the hoop nets.
Brian Olson: Beautiful scenery and clean. 1 bent rim, some missing tiles for the basketball court
Evgeny Dobrov: Great playground
Tiffany: Awesome blue and yellow basketball courts definitely newer hoops. Three hoops in total, tennis courts and a playground for the kids. Their is a little walking trail.Took my teens here to play basketball and had a wonderful time - will definitely be back!
