Skizilla: Since my house is old and weird. I have a 14” roughin on my main bathroom toilet. I went into Ferguson on a whim (and considering they are literally 2 blocks from my house) wondering if they would be able to score me a 14” rough in that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and looked sharp. The two goateed gentlemen at the counter (Jon and Paul) couldn’t of been any more helpful and knowledgeable on the products they offered and were able to hook me up with a Kohler “WellWorth” that fit the bill perfectly. Now that I know Ferguson exists, the big box stores are done for me when it comes to plumbing.

I am writing this review because with the amount of support and help I received from DAE Controls, I feel obligated to do so. Sophia was in charge of our order and she went above and beyond to help us select the correct product. She personally reached out to us to explain about the products we had ordered and to ensure we’re choosing the equipment that best fits our needs. She also mentioned that they have a strong technical team that can help us with any questions we might have during assembly. While we did not need any installation help, it was a peace of mind to know there is such a support. I have saved Sophia’s contact, and DAE Controls will definitely be our first choice next time we’re buying similar products.

I sent an email to DAE about my project, they asked a couple of clarifying questions then put together a quote with all the components needed.This is a DIY installation, instructions provided are VERY clear and easy to follow. Cloud meter was preset, no configuration needed, just plug-and-play.Once setup, I logged in to the website and entered the kWh costs based on time of day (this info is printed on your electric bill). System generates detailed monthly reports based on actual time of usage.Highly recommended!

Paul Haller: I ended up seeing water meters on Amazon but there was almost no technical info on installation, types of controls, cloud storage, max cable length, etc. I ended up calling DAE controls and talking to them. They were great and answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about their product including installation details. I was impressed and ordered directly from them. I know nothing about water meters that I read to bill the rental water usage. If you are on the fence, don’t be! Buy with confidence. Thank you DAE, I couldn’t be happier! It’s really great to talk to someone that really knows their product line and little details about its installation.

Marcus: I delivered steel pipes here in and out within 20 mins… unload hours are from 0930 to 1500. CALL 24 HOURS BEFORE YOU GET HERE!!! It will make it a lot easier and faster to get unloaded they might set you an appointment. Not much room for overnight parking!

The Big G Way: Mismanaged company. Management and workers ignored me and other fellow truck drivers with deliveries, even though a 24 hour notice was given to them and we came on our given appointment time. Workers continued serving their "local" customers and ignored myself and fellow truck drivers. In the end, 5 hours was wasted standing around with workers saying "we will get to you when we can," and the company refused to pay detention time.I ask drivers to avoid this horrible company unless you feel that your time isn't worth much.

It’s been 16 hours at receiver still they haven’t able to unload.Stay away from JB Hunt they don’t give and information about load.

Nancy Archdale: I am insured through consumers energy service plan so had to use this company. I own a mobile home. They led me to believe they were going to do the work I needed done after the inspection I didn't here from them so I called they told me that they couldn't locate a hot water tank the size required and that it was VERY EXPENSIVE. I told them that home depot sells the one I require If I purchase they will install at a high price Just giving me a runaround I reported the company to Consumers and I will not call them for service again. THEY DO NOT WORK ON MOBILE HOMES.
Thomas Bader: Wow what a great company. It is rare to find a service company that is both honest and competent, but that is what I have found with A & F Water Heating. I was especially impressed with Ty, the service representative who came to my house. Not only did Ty quickly and accurately diagnose the problem, but he took the initiative to fix several other issues I did not even know I had, all of which was the result of work done previously by other less trustworthy companies. Ty not only fixed my water heater (under warranty), he also replaced and fixed the slope of the drain, extended the length of the hose from the humidifier into the drain, replaced the flashing on the flu and repositioned the drain hose in the crawl space which was pouring water into the crawl, all at an incredibly reasonable price. I will be using no one but A and F in the future. Way to go Ty and A and F.

Ken: Needed warranty work on new hot water heater. Returned call, left voicemail. No response. Called again and got appointment scheduled. Had appointment rescheduled 3 times only after calling and asking for ETA and they kept saying “ oh you’re not on the books today”.Would not recommend at all. Ended up replacing part myself. They didn’t even say sorry when they realized I wasn’t on the schedule.
Paul McCoy: These people will try and charge you for service even when no service is rendered! Disgusting and dishonest business tactics!I called and asked to have someone come out and "take a look" at my water heater because it was leaking and I expressed that I knew it probably needed to be replaced. So, when they got here and said as much it wasn't a surprise. I was given a quote for this and then told there would be a $135 "service call" charge right then and there.What service?! I was NEVER told there would be a service charge just for coming out to give me a quote. That's unheard of and I would never have agreed to it! No other company would try to charge you for evaluation like this. Just call around and see for yourself.
Cyana Dang: Had AF replaced the thermocouple 5 months ago. Thermocouples are supposed to last a few years. Again, my water heater’s thermocouple is malfunctioning. I called them to let them know that and have someone come repair it. I was told that they will be charging me for the service call AND any parts to repair. They just replaced it 5 months ago!!!! I would definitely not use this company!!! Please call someone else!
