Labelle Appliance Services: what do users think?
peppys25: I have known and used Mike from Labelle Appliance for as long as I can remember. He kept a Sear's Kenmore washer going for more years than it was entitled to give us, and then some. He is prompt, efficient and "right on" for diagnosing and fixing any and all appliance repairs in all the homes we have lived in throughout the years. We have always been happy with the service he has provided and his fees/charges are more than reasonable."Thank you Mike!"
Penny: Beware, he really doesn't know what he is doing. He plays a guessing game, a process of elimination repairs at your expense. My refrigerator door wouldn't close, I googled to learn the possible issues, when Mike came out he first said to replace the cam, my refrigerator didn't have a cam. I told him what I saw on you tube and he just did that - and that repair went along with his first instinct, it had to do with the hinge. But didn't have the proper tools with him to check the seal, although he did visually inspect and did feel the seal and at that time didn't say anything about the seal having any issues. But the repair from you tube seemed to work. he seemed completely unaware of that repair and he has been in the business for 60 + years. So, three days go by and the door starts doing the same thing. So, he comes out again and this time brings a magnet, of which I had several he could have used the last time right on my refrigerator door. tests the seal and it was magnetizing fine, then again feels the seal and says the seal near the back of the door seems to be stiffer than the seal on other parts, I felt it, it was a little bit stiffer, but not much and I did not agree that that was the issue. And I find it unlikely the seal would all of a sudden keep the door from closing and if it really was the issue why didn't he express it the first time he was here as he did examine it. I asked him to reexamine the original repair at the hinge, since that did fix the issue the first time. He refused to re inspect his previous work.So I asked if he was 100% sure it was the seal, because the guessing game is costing me money, he said it was his "opinion" that it was the seal, I said that if I spend the money to replace the seal (over $100.00) and it wasn't the issue would he give me my money back, he said if it isn't the seal, then you can just trash the refrigerator and buy a new one. or he would put the old one back on and return the new one, yea like that would work. But he still gets his money.I don't think he really knows or cares about whether he does a good job or not, he just keeps repairing out of a process of elimination til he finds the issue at the customers expense with no confidence in his diagnosis, as he said it was only his "opinion" and when asked if he would stand behind that opinion he said he would not do the work.Save yourself a whole lot of money, find a real professional who will stand behind their "opinions" and actually fix your appliance without the guessing game.UPDATE called Graces appliance repair, they happened to be in in my area at the time I called, I told him what the refrigerator was doing and his first thought was the hinge. He came out within 45 minutes and took a look at the door and said I have to start right from the beginning, checking the simplest things first. He started by removing one of the vegetable drawers, then removing items from the door then the second vegetable drawer would only come out if the shelf was removed, he almost didn't do it but then said I gotta check everything. We removed that drawer and that was the issue, the drawer/shelf was protruding ever so slightly as to keep the door from closing, all that crap from Mike, and a real repair person came out and did the detail work, the simple things first and that was the issue, Mike would have had me replacing a perfectly working seal and then just trashing my refrigerator because that would not have fixed the issue, he couldn't be bothered to follow the simple checklist of simple first and don't skip any steps. How could he not have checked the drawers, check to see what was blocking the door from closing, because it was an obvious pushing back when trying to close the door. AMAZING THAT MIKE DID NO REMOVING OF ANYTHING LIKE DRAWERS ETC. 60 years in the business and couldn't figure this simple issue out.RUN, RUN, RUN FROM THIS GUY.THANK YOU CHRIS GRACE from Graces appliance repair. If you want an excellent, professional, thorough, confident and honest appliance repair call Graces.
Andy Makar: Mike provided excellent service at a fair price. I will definitely call him again.

V and V Appliance Parts: what do users think?
Bill Shillingburg: Dan at V and V found me a relay to get my fridge back up and running that EVERYONE else said relay was obsolete and non interchangeable. Thanks Dan and V and V for saving me hundreds even cheaper than anything on ebay or Amazon. You have a customer for life in me and my people
Boston Rudolph: Great parts.
alan fawaz: Mark is a great parts rep very help full with all my questions and parts needs
Yousef Obaid: Good service and good parts
Ray Meeker: I've tried to use these guys twice to get parts since they are local and I would rather support them than a corporation. The first was for a stove part which they had to order because they didn't have it. After waiting for a few weeks without a call back from them, I went in and they had gotten part but didn't call me back. I tried them again in August of last year to get a part for my dish washer. They said they ordered it and would call me this time since they didn't last time. In February of this year after calling them many times and going in the person to check on it, I gave up and ordered it online, within a few days I got the part from the online store and for cheaper than what they said they could get it for. Maybe others have a better experience than me but I will never go back to them if this is how they treat people.
Super Woman World: Great customer service
Steve Dealy: Found electric oven part in-stock & reasonably priced. Please support local vendors! If you always buy AMAZON, then the local outlets will close up shop. Buy local, support our neighbors' JOBS !

Mark Baylor: Went to these guys for a washer spring spreader $22.97 at lowes online and Amazon I figured I might have to pay a few bucks more for them to have it instead of wait 2 days. These clowns want $70 for the same tool good luck staying in business
The DIY Daddy: Their phone support was excellent, and I went out of my way to pick up parts there. While I was there, they told me about a parts kit that ended up saving me money. Their good service, reasonable prices, and excellent phone skills made for a great experience.
