I am going through chemo and am obviously feeling very self-conscious. I just wanted to exchange for something more “me.” I honestly do not remember being told final sale. But I also felt patronized when the lady explained she would have to go in back and throw it away, so instead I left with the $300 wig I don’t feel good in, embarrassed and crying because that’s what chemo does to you.

I walked into Wig n Hair and met Sally. She gave me a wealth of knowledge on caring for and styling a wig. She helped me choose something that worked well for me. And, she restyled the wig that I was wearing that I had badly chopped up! I'll be getting all my wigs from Wig n Hair from now on! Very pleased!

C S: Buyer BEWARE!!!! I lost almost all of my hair due to having COVID-19.. I have never purchased a wig in my life.. I went to wig n hair and paid $1200.00 for this wig from the owner! I needed a good quality human hair wig that would last . After wearing it for 4 hours the hair started shedding and is a complete mess! Even with the special conditioning spray I bought from her! The owner said this would last a year it was such good quality! She also told me I could have low lights put in it from any salon. After taking it to 16 different salons not one hair dresser will touch it because of the poor quality. I called the next day to return it and she refused to exchange or return it!! Absolutely horrible business woman.

They wouldn't respond when trying to contact them. So I drove there. They weren't friendly. And the wig I had waited 3 months for was just sitting on the counter.Also she lies. Says "oh idk it should be here soon, I ordered it on X date" when the shipping label reveals that she didn't order it until you called multiple times about where your wig is! But she will gladly take your money up front.I honestly don't know how she's still in business.

Trisia Smith: I bought 2 packs of crochet butterfly locs (17.99 each pack) from here the day before. The next day I tried to install 2 locs and couldn't even install them because both locs unraveled while trying to crochet them on.I took both packs back the next day to exchange or store credit because I knew he wouldn't give me a refund. The "owner" refused to exchange the hair and offered store credit for one pack because I had opened the other pack and now he can't resell the hair (even though both packs were opened and I had shown him how horrible the quality of hair was to even consider reselling)I attempted to put the hair back in the pack so he would let me exchange the hair and he told me "Ms that's not gonna work" and refused to let me exchange the other pack, take store credit or even have the number to the corporate office.He only finally allowed me to exchange the hair store credit after I refused to leave and threatened to call the police. Then he told me take my business elsewhere like I did something wrong to him and continued to scold me because he could not resale the pack of horrible quality hair that I opened. Kelly beauty supply on Van Dyke near 11 mile , has a bigger selection and better quality hair.UPDATE: The owner responds to my review stating that he didn't know what type of hair to carry but as a paying, respectful customer I was constantly scolded because he could not resell the hair because it was out the pack even after I told him several times it was poor quality. I guess selling horrible hair is more important than keeping respectful, paying customers. I guess he's saying if you want quality hair, Kelly beauty supply is your best bet.

He made me feel very comfortable. I tried on several wig. After sending out one of my very expensive human hair wigs to be washed and set before a big event that I have on Sunday, I was anxious that I would get my wig back or get it back looking the way I want in time. So I started researching different beauty supply stores other than Lee's to buy a synthetic wig from and I came across Invu Wig Hair & Jewelry. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I needed help. I told the woman helping me what I needed, and she walked me through their very nice selection of wigs. Due to COVID-19, there were indeed signs saying that you couldn't try on wigs. While I did miss the trying on aspect, I do understand and respect the precautions. I know that many people are upset about not being able to try on wigs, but I also think that many people have gotten used to being able to try on wigs at local beauty supply stories. However, I look at it this way, if you were ordering a wig online, even a very expensive one, you wouldn't be able to try it on before purchasing. Moving forward, after purchasing the wig, they cut the lace for me and I took it home. When I tried on the wig when I got home, I was very happy! The wig was comfortable, stretchy as how it was presented to me at the store, and the best part was that it looked very natural! My husband even commented on how nice it looked. This wig totally decreased my anxiety about my other wigs, and this will be the wig I'm wearing the the event on Sunday. Thank you so much for helping me! I'll be back for another one!
