We honestly were getting ready to bury her any day now and now we're making plans for her to finally come home and be a mother to her children. This place may have the negatives these others are complaining about. But all I see is people who didn't wanna get better and work the program that was set forth. I just wanna say thank you Shar Macomb for giving me back my daughter and making a program she doesn't run from.

Cindy Oliver: I am so encouraged by my sons progress at this facility. They teach you to speak about your self, your problems and your struggles with others experiencing the same problems. They train you in the basics of taking care of yourself. They consel you, They direct you and oversee your needs in a diverse manner. I am grateful for this program and I believe it will help by son greatly. I was certain he had the potential to straighten him self out but I could not get him to want too, despite my best efforts. I love to see snd hear the enthusiasm coming out of him so early in the program. Thank God. I feared it may be too late. I am thrilled by the inter workings going on here!

Choosing this place for help really only make the situation worse. Don’t make the same mistakes I did. The office manager is extremely rude and was literally arguing and yelling at me over the phone and kept hanging up on me while I was trying to conduct business. When I was calling and I was very nice and pleasant to her was just trying to get my bill settled after I gave her my insurance information. Did not even receive the full service I should have received from this company. The way they conduct business here is really alarming to me but now also understand why people struggling never get the proper help. This is the help available and it is sad. I will not recommend anybody to ever go here so please read the reviews before you attend this clinic it is very unprofessional and you will never get The help that you need that you the manager is very rude mean unprofessional and horrible attitude I will never ever recommend this clinic to anyone I give them a zero and no stars I will not even allow my dog to go here if he needed help this is the worst place I have ever deal with in my life dealing with business and I will be calling the city and making a complaint on this company about the horrible service and unprofessional customer service I received

Collin Ozment: This place is horrible, all they do is try to sell you other services and have NO interest in helping at all. I used them because they were the court recommended cheapest option, but you get what you pay for, they are the worst. If you're doing anything court related they will always recommend extra stuff because they know you'll be ordered to do it. Seriously go anywhere else

Saad Uddin: I went to this place with one of my relatives. I felt discriminated. The white girl at the front desk was a bit rude to us. We did not feel welcome there. She seemed to be upset with something. She might have had a bad day, but if this how she is then she must change her attitude.

Brandi Russell: Great place to work, and or visit if our services are ever needed.Management and Ownership are great as well as the supporting staff. I've watched management and support staff sit down with clients and help them with paperwork/court documents/insurance/ or even things that did not pertain to anything that was happening or had to do with the business.Once was called Michigan Diagnostic Alcohol and Drug Services and the name was changed to reflect where we wanted to head as a company hence Michigan Counseling Group.We do still provide all the other services that was once provided like:Drug screens for Employment/School/Court/Personal, DNA Personal and Chain of Custody, Support/PTSD/Change Classes, one on one counseling covering a wide array of things (We have 5 great counselors to choose from), Secretary of State/Probation/Mental Health/ and Opioid Risk Assessments.

They offer many services outside of drug testing. They are always fast, get you in and out. Have recommended them to several others. No comparison to other similar businesses.

Anthony Hamilton: Just started PBT two times a week here. I work at 7:30 and you open at 6:30 perfect time right? Needless to say I'm sitting on my lunchbox at the front door in the cold currently with out a ride to work because I've been here since 6:30 and now it's 7:11 AM AND STILL nobody is here and my ride has her own job to tend to. Thanks mdads let's hope my boss understands.UPDATE: showed up at 7:22. Payed for my PBT and offered to uber me to work which is awesome, but I'm still late. Much appreciated but I hope it doesn't happen again because my boss is livid and technically at the end of the day it's my fault for drinking and driving thanks mdads

Jay middleditch: Miss Collado is very competent and professional,Very personable and easy to talk too.She is passionate enjoys her job and you can tell that it’s very important to her to help those she councils.I was court ordered to timeout counseling and then stayed on for some additional counseling and can honestly say that not only was I helped but actually enjoyed the time spent.I can not say enough about miss Collado I would & will refer her and time out counseling to anyone who needs it.

David Nehra: I am the legal guardian of one of my lifelong friends, PEJ (we are now 52). He had a few bouts of bad luck with the law due to bad decisions and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Since starting probation, my friend has been attending counseling sessions with Jessica. We decided to take a unique approach to my friend's situation, focused on his two main talents, and went with art and music therapy. Since starting treatment back in August of 2020, my friend's life has changed forever, in a positive way. He no longer feels the need to live the 'bad boy' lifestyle, he has a steady relationship (with another childhood friend), and he has quit smoking (after 25 years). PEJ looks forward to the sessions with Jessica. Jessica is a genuinely compassionate counselor – she is both challenging and understanding. Jessica is a true professional; I would recommend her services to anyone in need of positive counseling. I've noticed that there are a few one-star reviews. I am not sure what the situation is for the naysayers. From my perspective, you get out what you put in; PEJ is putting his heart and soul into this effort and is reaping the benefits of his dedication, hard work, and services of Jessica. Keep up the great work!

William Lathan: A horrible, dirty place. 90% of the staff are completely rude and treat you like you are lower than dirt. Ridiculous fees. Some government agency needs to investigate this place, I don't think the horrendous conditions can be safe or legal

Carly Morgan: Go to the one in warren!!!! There’s a time out counseling in warren on 12 and van dyke and they are 1 million percent better! They will treat u with respect and dignity! The so called therapist Nicole at the Shelby office is so unprofessional and literally told me she could not see me for a session because my daughter at home had a ear infection! A EAR INFECTION! She said it’s contagious and I could give it to her! Even though I didn’t have it! The so called office manager knew it was ridiculous but sat there looking stupid. Nicole and Michelle together try to bully people and Nicole acts totally different when it’s the boy at the front desk then when Michelle is there. They are miserable people who obviously hate their jobs and go out of their way to make people miserable. I had a totally different experience when I transferred to the one in warren. I literally drove all the way to the warren office even though the one in Shelby was close to me just so I wouldn’t have to deal with the pettiness of those two idiots. DONT GO TO SHELBY! Go to warren! I also heard from several other people about similar experiences!!!

Danielle Crombez: Worst of the worst drug and or alcohol testing facilities. I'm not ashamed to say I unfortunitly got an OWI and have to test here. Basically they extort you of money in every which way that they can it's seriously criminal. I'm so dissapointed in a facility that is supposed to be helpful all they do is try and squeeze every penny they can from you. The main manager she calls herself especially. Shame.

Taj Davis: Great place. They take you to so many events and the counselors are great! Transitional housing is decent on the boulevard and can be as low as $50 if you volunteer with the cook,otherwise it's $200 a month on the boulevard or $350 off Warren and Coplin.Also wheel chair accessible!
