I ended up going with a more reputable company the next week as it was not fixed. They had said the previous person that worked on my 2 year old, basically brand new dryer had been completely reckless with it. They bent up the panels and the front nuts were completely stripped. The person was barely able to put it back together. $200 later and I will be have yo replace the dryer if it breaks again due their ‘craftsmanship’.Just don’t do it. Leslie P: Nickel Appliance was my 3rd call when my refrigerator and freezer were not getting cold enough but Nickel Appliance should have been my 1st call! The first place I left a voicemail and no call back. The second place picked up the phone and said rudely "please hold". Sat on hold for 6 minutes and then I hung up. Then called Nickel Appliance and they sent Robert out to my house the very next day (Wednesday). Robert was friendly, on time, professional, explained what the issue was and how to fix it but that the part would take 3 to 5 days to come in. My heart sank! Oh no! What will I do with no fridge/freezer for a long holiday weekend!!?!! The next day (Thursday) Nick called me to say the part was in and they could come back out the next day (Friday). As promised, Robert was at my house on Friday and had my refrigerator/freezer fixed in 20 minutes. Thank you Nickel Appliance and Robert!! A week later the dishwasher was still having issues from the second code. I called Don and he was not only willing to refund half of the cost (very reasonable) but he came out and did another repair for me involving a different appliance.I am most impressed with his integrity. I trust him and appreciate the way he does business. Very professional, on time, and cleans up after his work is done. Will use him again.

Richard Reyntens: Called ro make a service appt. for my washer. The gentleman I talked to ask me what was the problem. I described my problem and he took my phone number and would call me back. About 30 minutes later he called and described what the possible problem was and said Maytag has been dealing with my problem on several of their models. He suggested that I contact Maytag directly for them to deal with my issues, which would be covered under warranty. I thanked him for his time which saved me a service repair call.

John Crawford: I noticed they didn't have a place of business, just a website. So when I called, it was someone's cellphone number. Got a recording directing me someone else's cellphone, which was also a recording. Their site says most of their service calls, they charge $200 or less. Then their office returned my call and charged me $275 before they even looked at it. The repair technician seemed to be knowledgeable, quick, and well prepared. I turned down their service, so I had to pay $75 for the home visit.

The service man determined that the logic board was faulty and needed to be ordered and replaced.He was at my home on Saturday, February 22 and scheduled Saturday, March 7 to be out for the installation of the new logic board.The board was delivered to my home on Tuesday, February 25 - called Sears to come out and install the new board but they refused to come out before March 7. I found that to be very, very unsatisfactory.The service individual did a very good job of not only installing the board but made some adjustments to the overall operation of the door and I would merit him a five (5) rating - but the company policy leaves a lot to be desired.

After having my appointment confirmed 3 straight days by Sears call center on the day of the actual appointment they no called, no showed on a four hour appointment window. I sat around all day waiting for someone to arrive. When I called and asked where they were I was then told that my appointment had been rescheduled for 11 days later!!! How can you “reschedule” an appointment without talking to the customer!?!? And how do I have to wait 11 days after YOU didn’t show up for me or contact me!? I will avoid Sears at all costs from now on and I recommend you do as well.

They came out and looked at my fridge, stated it would need a part and it would cost about $200. I asked about the $85 and he stated it would be applied to the full bill. A week goes by, nothing. I call and call. No return call. When I finally get someone on the phone, they tell me, sorry, we cannot order parts, you will need to buy a new fridge. What a HUGE disappointment. ESB2: If you have a GE dishwasher, don't bother having them come out. It's going to be $500 for them to replace the control panel, wiring, and motherboard. This is common for GE dishwashers. This was told to me during the 8 minutes the repairman was here for $80. He already knew what was wrong without doing anything. He knew from asking one question, did it randomly beep like you were opening it? He said that that is how it begins before the dishwasher stops working. There, I saved you waiting for them to arrive, an 8 minute service call, and $80.
