Earl Sutton: My daughter and I and my wife have taken and bought many fish from the store we run a plant life filtration system versus a carbon filtration but we find that we enjoy the fish from this store they taken have long life spans and they enjoy our fish tanks fairly well one of the things that I've put in our tank is a philodendron and one of my Japanese algae eaters has decided that it is a hammock for him but that's part of what makes him special is his personality

Qurie LaPoint: Absolutely love them!! They are so knowledgeable and have everything we need from reptile care and for our furry friends. They have a bit of everything too! Hamsters, birds, bunnues, baby turtles, baby snakes, lizards, geckos, fish even kitty's and puts to adopt from time to time. They even had 4 quails when I was there today!

That being said with an understanding that fish tanks can smell and even look a little gross from time to time naturally.

Multiple tanks had multiple fish that had been dead for a while, and almost all the tanks were poorly taken care of and really dirty. The store looks VERY different than the photos they have posted. I wouldn’t trust anything from their tanks in mine.

John: Place had a decent selection of fish, a lot of tanks had some dead fish in them.

Bailey Bush: They did an amazing job at moving my new 180 gallon tank, stand, and sump downstairs. They barely had any clearance for the tank and had to partially deconstruct the stand to even get it to fit but they did it. I can't thank them enough because they were willing to take on the task and I would have had no way of getting it down myself. Couldn't recommend these guys more if you need to do a big tank move.

Ali Safarov: Matt from Detroit Aquarium Co, provided me with excellent service. I had an emergency with my saltwater aquarium. I had to move my 55 gal saltwater tank with fish and corals from one room to another quickly as possible with different types and levels of floor and some other problems. I have been very pleased with his professionalism, promptness, and understanding of my needs. Matt did a great job. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a home aquarium expert! I so appreciate his advice and recommendations. Highly recommended!

Lisa Ficorelli: We've been having our 2 small pups serviced here for many years when Jessica was the manager. There were NO problems at that time. Sadly, Jessica transferred to Fla. However, we remained loyal patrons. We cannot book online since we have to book two pups and like to bring them at the same time. When calling and leaving messages..... days go by w/o a return call. So I decided to go in person to book. With these above obstacles, I'm still trying to maintain loyalty and continue as a customer. When going in person , I was met by the grooming manager with this comment " are you waiting for something?" Hmmmm? What happened to "hello? Can I help you?" I stated I wanted to book grooming appointments. I could tell by Chelsea's facial expression and body language that she was annoyed to be bothered by me. Chelsea stated it would be " a bit" before she could help me. I asked " what does a bit mean?" Chelsea stated at least 10 mins since there was a dog waiting to be checked in ahead of me. I simply turned to walk out. Chelsea yelled after me and asked if I wanted to call another time to book. I said " no as days go by before my call is returned." I immediately decided to call and take up customer service issues w the store manager. Funny thing.... I asked for the STORE mgr when calling but the grooming mgr. Chelsea, who was too busy to take my appts picked up the transferred call???? She can take a call but can't book in person appts. That's strange. I again, asked for the store mgr. After, a lengthy wait, the manager on duty, not the store GM took the call. I explained what had happened. I received a litany of excuses, they're busy, short handed etc and get this!!! The manager was standing right there so she says and I was the rude one!! Not Chelsea! The funny thing..,, the story she repeated back to me of what the exchange was between Chelsea and I was not EVEN CLOSE to what really occurred!! So now I'm a liar. Unbelievable!! The only person standing anywhere near my exchange w Chelsea was the owner of the dog that was waiting to be checked in. I'm figuring the lengthy wait for the store mgr actually taking the call was because Chelsea who took my call originally was "filling her in" .I also asked the " manager on duty" for her name. She stated she had already told me 3 times and refused to give it to me again so i could write it down. She continued to yell over me trying to talk telling me how rude I am and she hung up on me. THIS IS THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED AFTER COMING HERE FOR 8 PLUS YEARS FOR 2 DOGS TO BE GROOMED. I have paid this store 1,000's of dollars! Not to mention every time we come in we are charged a different higher price for each of our pups.PETCO WILL NEVER SEE ANOTHER DIME OF MY MONEY! They made booking very difficult for us but we still continued to come and after each and EVERY grooming procedure...., we always tipped 20%.BOTH MANAGERS NEED A COURSE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE or better yet FIRED! My advice to potential grooming customers is to RUN NOT WALK AWAY FROM THE WARREN DEQUINDRE LOCATION. Take it from a long time loyal Petco grooming customer who was terribly dumped upon.

Ashton Nietzke: As someone who has shopped at Kees for over 20 years (since I was a little kid), I was sorely disappointed in their saltwater fish today. After driving over an hour to get there, over half the aquariums were empty, about half of the fish that were in stock were displaying various diseases, and the tanks were in atrocious shape. The display tanks look very rough, most of the fish are gone now, and again, those in the tank have visible signs of disease. Nuisance algae and pest anemones are present throughout their previously gorgeous 1000 gallon display, and most of the other tanks as well.When I did see 1 tank with some very nice looking green chromis and anthias I did want to buy, I was told no because they came in that day from a customer trade in and they wanted to monitor them. I replied that I understood the risk, that I quarantine my own fish anyways, and that I'd rather get them now and lessen their risk of catching disease from the system they are in, but the salesperson said he asked the owner, and the owner wouldn't sell them. Which is a lie, because I've known the owner for years and he wasn't there at the time.Truly a waste of time and a disappointment. Hopefully David gets things turned around, but I'm not coming back for the foreseeable future.

Adam Beger: I've been looking for a quality pet shop to find some decorations for my leopard geckos enclosure and I'm glad I found this place. The people are extremely nice and the prices are fair. I think I got quite a bit of stuff for less than 60 dollars to completely transform the tank. My Leo and I are extremely happy. 5 stars for sure.

When I get here they said I have to buy a cage which I had already to bought one. They told me they would not sell me a rabbit. Broke my little girls heart and didn’t even say sorry super rude.
