David Graff: I was pretty pleased with the meal I had here. The food tasted good and was excellent a generous portion. Food was also priced reasonably. The service was good as well although it was a little slow at times. I also would have preferred if the food had a little more seasoning. That said, it was still good and I would definitely eat here again.

Janice Jones: Well, let me be the first to say if you are a state institution with tax exempt status (i.e., tax I'd number was present, etc) this place will not honor your P Card. They told us, "If you pay cash we can do something." The waitstaff was apologetic, the owner blew us (16 people) off. We were disappointed after spending almost $300 dollars. This is unfortunate because we thought this would be a great cultural experience for our staff. We won't return to this vendor.
Armin Shakry: The new restaurant is called Marrouch. Just came back after a year and a half. New owner and great full. Waitress was awesome. Food was top notch. The boneless chicken and shawarma was excellent. Will be back.

Heeba 1234: Worst restaurant ever in Dearborn! Bad service, worst costumer service ever. The waitress was very dumb, she didn’t know how to give us basic utensils like plates, fork etc.. We had to beg her to give us bread, and the utensils. The food was raw, no taste and, cold. Gave us warm water, it was water bottles. I dont recommande this place, food was nasty and unclean. They also charged us extra for water even though pitcher of water is free. They charged us 5.99 for a pitcher of water. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend this place if your thinking for a place to eat at.

Racheal Karas: Absolutely horrible, I miss the old owners already and it's only the second day of these new people taking over. Food was not the same. Everythingggggggg I ordered was gross.
Suzy Renee: New owners now called Kabob Castle Express. The cook went from writing with his pen to the computer and then put his hands on my bread and then in the pickles with no gloves or hand washing. The desk girl went from the register and her cell phone to grab bread to cut up for my bread and garlic and never washed her hands or put gloves on. Didn't eat the sandwich and tossed it because I was so grossed out.

Aimee Thomas: Me and my father tried this restaurant for the 1st time today. We got lunch from here, i got the chicken shawarma he got the lamb plate. The shawarma was okay. The lamb was good while he was eating it but he now is sick and this was the only thing besides a McDonald's coffee he ingested . I wish i could have left a better review and maybe it was just that batch but i will never eat here again.
E D: My heart is so heavy. I use to LOVE this place, the owner and the owner's son. It is now under a different name (Kabob Express) and the chicken sharwma was awful. Chicken is flavorless and dry. The garlic sauce tastes store bought. They are super small. just ugh! I miss Shish Express :-(

We got 4 diff items...chicken shawarma dinner, hummus + bread, grape leaves appetizer & a Fattoush salad. The Fattoush was easily the BEST I've had ever hands down!!!Everything was excellent ! Tasty & big portions & priced MUCH BETTER than many other Middle Eastern places that give you less food. And the owner who was helping me with the menu is sweet as can be. Thank you for the great food! We will be back for more :)

I had not one complaint from anyone. The meats and chicken were seasoned to perfection. The humus was creamy and some of the best I've ever had. Salad dressing was light and very flavorful. Xavier B: I've been coming here for years with my family and it's some of the best food every single time. We like to order the Al Ameer family platter or sometimes we will order individual meals. I would recommend the stuffed lamb. And the baby roasted potatoes. But everything on the menu is amazing. The hummus and pita is always made fresh and they also have really good smoothies. 5/5 stars . The staff is always friendly and the service is prompt .
