Windemere Park of Warren: what do users think?
Courtney Henderson: LORI The activity director is amazing. Always made my POP POP'S day, he loved everything she did to keep them engaged day in and day out. Lori's the best, he'd say. We're so grateful for her.
Deya Winkfield: Just want to give a giant shout out to the activity director , LORI. she really is a god send. 🙏🙏🙏
Shelby Seward: This review is for LORI! She is an absolutely wonderful, caring, compassionate, and empathetic human! Bravo.
Mindy Marcinko: When my grandmother was there she was so well taken care of. We especially liked it when Lori was in. She was exceptional. The most caring compassionate person.
MrGizma: When my grandmother was here I just loved the staff. My favourite was a lady named Lori! She really just made that place so special for my grandmother and the other residents. A true gem!
Ur bad kid: Such a wonderful place. Love the activities they (lori) provide for everyone. She makes a huge difference to the residents in doing so. Way to go lori!
Krista Rann: Great facility and location. The activities director lori truly cares about her position and the residents, as do they other staff members there.
Victoria Mariani: Had a beautiful time visiting my aunt, Lori the activity girl is so nice and sweet and she goes above and beyond for her patients xoxox.
D.N.R.: UPDATE March 2023..Why would a senior living center were you have 80 and 90 year old residents most with walkersnot have the handicap front electric doors not working??? They have to struggle opening the door with one hand and the walker with the other. The transportation bus moves 1 day a week. The dining room has been closed for 3 years now, you get your food in a to go container and then take it to your room and eat by yourself. Java Joes CLOSED too.Very mismanaged placed, residents need to reduce their own rent til they get what they pay for. The building is old it was hotel back in the 80's , roof leaks in places needs newcarpet. The owner raised the rent 6 month's ago and again Jan. 2023. They can't keep good help...think twice and ask questions before moving here...the hallways have NO heat. The people play bingo and other games in a coat or jacket no heat in the gameroom NO heat by the pool area as well. At Christmas time the thermostats showed 45 degrees in the hallways. The larger windows in the hallway have plastic over them. To be continued...
Wendy M (Rascal05): This place is a disgrace. Their neglect caused by father to be in a wheelchair and unable to communicate. He went septic....All because they didn't clean a simple scrape on his arm.
Valeta Mariani: Activity department head, Lori does an AMAZING JOB!! She comes up with various activities that make residents happy and inclusive. Something for everyone!!
robert reeves: My mother always said if you can't say something nice, don't say anything.I am screaming with silence.
Tay B: As an agency health care professional that worked here it needs 2 be shut down immediately the state needs too be called and Maria needs to be fired ASAP doesn’t know how to speak too people at all 1/10 don’t recommend working here she is the main reason why there is no staff don’t send your loved ones here at all ! The will suffer !
Shardeja Simon: This facility is horrible. They are so unorganized. The scheduler has an nasty attitude and is so ruled. Everyone is ruled and it’s not a clean facility at all. Very unstaffed all the time
Flashy Eclips: I should have read the reviews before applying here, everything everyone is saying absolutely very true, especially on the assistant living side, no adequate staffing, they expect staff to do 3-5 different jobs from passing meds, caring for the residents and cleaning etc., there’s not house keepers, dietary aides, no caregivers and no maintenance nor do they do activities with the/ for the residents to help keep the place up and running, no a/c so when get its hot it’s uncomfortable to work in or live in, the residents who have Alzheimer’s or dementia keeps getting out the building because the alarms doesn’t work, high safety risk for those residents, residents didn’t have clean clothes to change into in the daily, had to wear the same clothes for weeks on in because the facility’s washer/ dryer was down, staff didn’t have towels/ hygiene products to give residents a proper shower, for the amount of money they are paying to be there they deserve better
Steve Ostrowski: They only pay $11/hr. What kind of care is your relative going to get for that?
Teresa Seals: The hospice floor is absolutely dreadful. As a returning visitor I can say with all honesty that the conditions in which these elderly residents have been subject to live is disgusting and I find it disheartening to see such a lack of concern from the caregivers. It's like a prison up there. The floors are sticky and the smell is absolutely putrid. I feel bad for anyone who has to put their parent(s) in the care of this facility. They need to shut it down.
Deen R: Everything promised when signing the lease never came true...! Transportation bus hasn't moved in three years...no recreation unless you do it yourself. No bingo, bunco, and other games to make the day go by..no excercise either...just a prisoner in your own room.No movies in the movie theater and dining room closed for two years now...The Java Joe café closed where you were able to get a coffee and sandwich.... This place is just very mismanaged..and no help..Think twice before signing a lease...This place just can't keep help...people work here for a few weeks then quit. They need to reduce the rent of all the independent people living here or the residents should just stop paying rent until they get what they pay for...Needs a new owner...!To the owners response... You are right the pandemic is over..Things are far from being back to NORMAL at Windermere Park. So why isn't your dining room open, your bus still not moved in 3 years, movie theater closed, Java Joes Closed, your little store to buy things closed..when it rains you have buckets here and there because roof leaks...shall I continue what is wrong...! and you raised the rent 6 month's ago.. Plus the tenants complain about the food...so don't blame the pandemic for everything take some blame because of help shortage...Just pay them more..Have picnics in the greenbelt area and live music to keep the Independent residents happy and get what they pay for...
Sheila Quinn: I’m here to write an honest review of our experience. My mom was here for hospice. The management here was never on the same page.We had paperwork that was presented when she was admitted. And somehow never got put in her file. The rules changed and my brother was called a liar. As he held said paperwork (copies) in hand, he was still called a liar. Getting to the bottom of anything took over a month. Management needs to do better! As far as care…. It was hit or miss. Never the same aides because of them using an agency. As far as the nurses. I have nothing but respect, love and gratitude for Karen. She was so kind, prayed with my mom, and just genuinely cared. The only person there that helped us get things done. Not just with my Mom, but with other residents there. Just a wonderful, kind woman!Crystal was also amazing. I will miss her compassion and warm hugs.I know because of covid, that every where is short staffed. The care was not what I expected. When I had addressed issues, things were turned around on me. Like it was my fault.Certain nurses were nasty and excuses were made for them. Over all if I had a choice…. I don’t think I’d choose Windermere.
Gwen Pruett: A seemingly nice place for rehab. Like all places shot on help. My brother is currently in rehab. They seem to be doing a good job.
Rashonda Kennedy: 0/10 WOULDN'T RECOMMEND! MARIA IN HR IS RUDE TO THE NEW AND OLDER STAFF MEMBERS.

Arbor Inn: what do users think?
sally borden: I was admitted here on 11/5/2021 after researching online for an assisted living facility.I found the Arbor Inn to be reasonably priced and a good value for the money. All the staff here have been helpful to me and the kitchen has been accommodating my renal diet of no beef or pork. The surroundings are pleasant and staff keep everything neat and tidy as possible. I would recommend the Arbor Inn for anyone looking for assisted living.
Diana: Our dad has been at Arbor Inn for almost 3 years and everyday we are grateful we found this place! Dad is happy with his room, the food and the friends he's made including the kind staff. Dad's aids are kind, helpful and available. Our family has always found the help and support we needed whether in person, by phone or occasionally via email. Calls and emails are returned, any questions or concerns are discussed and addressed appropriately and in a friendly, respectful manner. For Dad it's the little things that mean a lot: the smiles, polite service, encouragement, greetings in the hallway, honest and genuine caring, even the monthly birthday parties. He enjoys the pleasant artwork and plants in the bright hallways and the beautiful sunny courtyards. We appreciate that there are numerous living rooms, a library and an activity room he can use if he wants to.Covid restrictions have been challenging but the primary concern at Arbor Inn has been resident safety. We managed to have visits at his window until he could venture out again. Everyone had to make the best of it. As far as the nursing and wellness staff goes they are 100% on their game. Without fail. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!Yes, some things are not as we'd like because of his insurance, not because of the facility, like finding a PT that comes to the building. We are still looking for one that is taking new clients and takes his insurance and visits onsite. The building and his rooms are clean and functional. The office is run efficiently and with the necessary procedures and processes to ensure safety and a welcoming living arrangement. Overall, what started as a nervous family needing to place their father into someone else's care became a family at peace with their decision. We thank each and every one of you at Arbor Inn!
Jackie Kelley: My dad was 91 and couldn't live on his own any longer. I've lived nearby to Arbor Inn and have always believed it looked like a peaceful, friendly place to have my elderly parents live if/when the time came. I was not disappointed. My dad was as crabby, mean and nasty as they come but still the staff was understanding and kind. They made a difficult time a lot easier. I am glad I followed my gut and brought my dad to a neighborhood assisted living facility with heart! Thank you to all the heroes of Arbor Inn!
Thomas Najor: I visit my mom at work often and this facility is so clean. I love how all the staff know the residents by name - its like a family here. I really wish when my great-grandma was looking for a place she had been here. It is so hard to find a place that is clean, understanding and friendly these days. The staff truly care here. I love visiting.
Staci Straubel: Do not ever put your family members in this facility. I work in the healthcare industry. This place neglects their patients and does not treat them as they would their own family.
Jennifer Farrugia: I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility as a commercial cleaning business owner. Feeling comfortable that a business is clean during the time of covid is very important to me, especially considering the residents are elderly and some, if not most, have compromised immune systems. I was also impressed with the friendliness of the admissions department. They were helpful and made the process easy to understand.
Kira Ramos: I would recommend Arbor Inn for anyone looking for a place for their loved ones! Very helpful and professional staff and the building looks great.
Corona Quarantine: The facility is clean. The staff is compassionate and helpful, and they practice proper safety measures while still allowing visiting. Highly recommend!
Birdi Katt: I don’t know if Roberta is a real nurse or not...
Mary Hussey: lock downs were extreme, turnover for aids was constant, patrons family treated atrocious.
James Milan: The Arbor Inn has done an excellent job caring for my sister since November of 2020. During Covid the staff has been attentive to keep residents safe. My questions have been answered and her needs have been met. I would highly recommend this assisted living facility. The sister of Judy A.
Moses Coleman: Arbor Inn is definitely a Five Star facility. The staff made my mother feel like a queen. In spite of Covid restrictions, my mother never had a complaint whatsoever. The medical staff is very competent and keeps you inform of all changes. Though my mother made her transition just a few months shy of 100 years, I can with confidence say that Arbor Inn was able to give her the quality of life that she so richly deserved and demanded. Major accolades to the Administrative staff as well, making the admissions process so easy.
Lisa T: My mom was a resident at The Arbor Inn on two different occasions, and I can say I was pleased with her care both times. She was always treated with respect by the staff. Whenever I visited I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive to my mom, and to the other resident as well. I was always greeted with a smile and hello as well. The staff was always very warm and welcoming, and the residents always looked to be happy and engaged.I found the Arbor Inn to be clean, well taken care, and was always decorated for the holidays, which my mom always enjoyed!
Rachael Toupin: Do not put your family member in this place. I have suspicions of abuse and neglect. Most of the staff (there are a couple good apples) couldn’t care less and are just plain rude and unkind to the residents and family members.
Chyna Whyte: Bad Company ! Not licensed to pass medication, and they still hire them in without certification!
Bev Todd: My mom was there abt 11 years. They take care of meds, help with showers. When we had trouble with roommate they were very responsive and got her moved as soon as I asked. When she had a deep surgery in her thigh the Arbor Inn called in Wound Care nursing, something moms surgeon never mentioned.Mom was happy with food (she had complained abt food in previous home). Staff was always friendly, helpful.Mom enjoyed bingo, the many holiday and birthdayparties with the entertainers that were brought in.It is not a rich and fancy home. But its clean, well maintained, easy to navigate, friendly and helpful. And it is not $6000 or $8000 per month.
Patrick Murray: We had our Uncle here for 6 years and always found the Arbor Inn to be an exceptional assisted living facility. Uncle Ray was always treated with respect and all of his needs were well met. The food was good, the facility clean and well maintained and the staff made extra efforts to keep the family informed of any changes in his health. As Ray's health declined the Arbor inn staff helped us select a Hospice providor which allowed him to remain in the setting in which he felt safe and comfortable until his death. During this 6 year period Arbor Inn proved to an excellent home for Ray.
Jackie Kirouac: The smell is nice
Erica Elizabeth: Don't send your loved ones here. Please look elsewhere. The staff is extremely rude. They treated my grandmother like garbage. No therapy, all they did was get you up to eat and put you back into bed. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Denise Consiglio: My mother was all set to move in with all community requests handled and deposit submitted and belongings moved when she went into the hospital with pneumonia. Instead of working with my family they said she could not come there from the hospital and we'd have to start from scratch even though we'd already given up her previous residence. We were willing to pay the rent whether my mom was there or not but were told we must move out her belongings. This place claims to be a family oriented community but they certainly don't seem to care about the burden and trouble they are putting on people. In the end it's all about a buck!
Kay Jdoesit: This place is very old fashioned and unprofessional, they have a bunch of children working here

American House Park Place: what do users think?
Deborah Vitale: My parents moved in recently and I can not say enough great things about the staff, as well as the facility. Michelle started off our experiance with a tour answering all of our questions. She is always available with any additional help or questions. It is a beautiful place very clean and well kept. My father has been raving about the food. Jackie has been a great help to my father with care for my mother. I am so glad we found them, it has been such a blessing for the family that we don't have to worry about them knowing their is always someone there when we can't be.
Marianne Eberlein: Beautiful and clean . Like retiring on a cruise ship.
Milton Amaru El: Called and left a message about housing for my mother. Deangelo called me back, was very informative and extremely helpful. Even helped me with understanding better how the process works helping my mother find a rental place.
Rachelle Magolan: American House Park Place is an amazing place for your loved one. The staff are so helpful, thoughtful and caring. They made my father’s transition into his new life seamless. They go above and beyond in every way. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful and clean. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a beautiful new home for their loved one as they age. A special thank you to Michelle, Jackie, Tina and Grace for all you’ve done for our family. And I’m sure plenty others.
Maelca Duncan (MAELCA): It’s very nice big place clean facility well organized o love to work this place 💕❤️💕
Theresa Drauch: My aunt has been at park place for almost 5 years. When we we looking for a senior living apartment for her, my mom’s comment was that if she ever had to live at any senior facility, this is where she would want to be. We looked at many, many facilities and Park Place was by far the best. We have been very happy with the staff and the many amenities they offer. Even during this time of the pandemic, the care has been exceptional. Everyone is so kind and helpful.
Linda Skonieczny: I searched for a year to find a place for my dad and his lady friend. I new when i walked in this was a clean and great place for them. A resident walked up and said that she lioved it here. The staff is RESPECTFUL KIND AND CARING. When there's a problem they are wiing to wilto to sovle it
Teresa: The care is horrible here!! Meds are not administered and meals are often delivered very late and sometimes not at all!! If your lived one is at this location, please check on them every day!!
Jan Shereda: Such a Beautiful Place, very nice Staff, just moved my mom their, very happy with this facility!
A Siva: Both of my parents lived here, then just one parent. The caregivers (5-star!) were exceptional, very kind and patient (most important aspect in my book). The apartment was beautiful and kept clean. Hardly any laundry mistakes. On the building's enhanced side, the dining room was FREEZING in the morning at breakfast. The day's food was mediocre and too high in sodium, often lukewarm and a bit bland. No creativity in the kitchen. Events were just ok. The walk path behind the building is lovely...
Lindsay Mlynarek: If I could give all of you 100 stars I would. Thank you for 8 years of not being just a home but a family to my parents and all of us. To anyone looking for a home the building is beautiful the people inside are beyond compare.
Carole Stross: Great staff, management very enthusiastic with residents and the food is delishious!!! Such a wonderful facility!!!
Janet Twardecki: My mom couldn't be in a better place. The staff is so friendly and kind. They do many fun family activities throughout the year!
edward johnson: My Friend Emma Anderson Lives Here

Young Home For The Elderly: what do users think?
Raiden Peace: This place is not a good place the new owners are not very good people
Cheryl Kreuter: Love this place!! The staff is so caring and very little turnover like the bigger places. My grandmother was here years ago and now my mom has been here for about 2 -1/2 years. She was forgotten about at the bigger places and not watched closely. Young Home has a family atmosphere, and is just that.....a home, not a facility!!!
Richard Harrison: Good caring people

The Orchards Michigan - Warren: what do users think?
Carol Taylor: Disgusting place. My sister went there after surgery from a fall accident. No one changed her surgical dressings, and she was left in a filthy diaper for hours on end.Neglectful and dangerous conditions.Any shining reviews of this place are completely bougus. This place needs to be shut down....
Howard Cagle: Finally able to visit parent after Covid. Test.New administrator Tina( other one recently fired),stays and tells you what you can say.My mother saying help with every bit of energy she has,I said,I know it's terrible here.Tina Kramer interrupts us and says thats not true and starts arguing with me about it.I said you don't know what you're talking about lady, and she made me leave.Terrible place, terrible person.Anything so nobody sees the abuseP.S.You will see they responded to this,so I can only reply by editing this. They only connected me by phone to my Mother once in over a half year and both of the phones we supplied were stolen from my Moms room.($500+)These people need APS to get in there. This was March 9th 2021.Not sure why their reply is 2 months agoMarch 11th 2021....2 days later....my Mom passed away this morning.Save your loved ones from these people!!!!!!
Pretty Naee: Don’t work here or put your loved one here! They nursing management is POOR, hypocrites, disrespectful and don’t care for one another! They talk to each other like dogs off the streets! Corporate was called and literally did NOTHING. Highly don’t recommend.
SIMPLY LADY T: They mistreat your loved ones and they killed our mom.
April BB: DO NOT SEND your family to this facility!!! My mother went here for rehabilitation after being in the hospital. She had horrible experiences ranging from medical neglect, physical neglect, intimidation, and unprofessional staff. They did not provide my mother with the correct doses of her medication and they ran out of some of her other medicine during her stay. She was offered a shower only once a week, the food was disgusting, and her room was not regularly cleaned. In one instance, she vomited on the floor and the staff left it there for days until I complained. During thanksgiving holiday, the patients were without cable for four days. Some of the staff were kind, but some were very unprofessional. While I was on the phone with my mother one night, I heard one of the staff members asked my mother if she rolled her eyes at her 😳. I also witnessed another staff member tell a patient "If you hit me again, I am going to F**K you up." They were often understaffed leading to my mother being abandoned and left in hazardous situations. There are signs throughout the building that tell you to report any abuse or neglect to the administrator. When I attempted to report these issues to the administrator, Myrna Lee, she basically faulted my mother and made excuses for all of the neglect she received. When we finally decided to get my mother out of the facility due to neglect, the administrator attempted to deny my mother a safe discharge and tried to get us to sign paperwork stating that we were leaving against medical advice, not due to negligence. She went as far as lying and saying my mother could not be discharged until she sees the doctor who she claimed was not available. After my family raised hell, the social worker stepped in and supported my mom through a safe discharge, and the Director of Nursing went to get the doctor...who showed up within 5 minutes because he was on-site. We were discharged 20 minutes later. The administrator did not offer my mother an apology, and she ran out of the room irritated when the social worker and Director of Nursing expedited the issue. This place is poorly run because the administrator, Myrna Lee, is incompetent, condescending, and tries to weaponize her power against vulnerable patients and families. It did not work this time. Again, DO NOT SEND your family to the Orchards of Warren, but if your loved one is here and is having experiences like my mother, get them out of there and request the official grievance procedures for complaints. Also, file a complaint with the state through the Bureau of Community and Health Systems. This place should be shut down!
Kathy Giganic: This place is old and dirty. Patients are not well cared for at all! Sometimes getting dinner as late as 7pm!
Johnna Morin: My mom was here for rehab after a hospital stay. Would not ever put anyone here again. This place is old and dirty. It is understaffed. Two people to a room, also sharing a bathroom with the room next door. No shower in room. Not really sure if they bathed my mom at all. Sheets were dirty. TV was fuzzy. I am so thankful we got her out of there. I honestly can’t believe they are allowed to remain open.
Delonda Wilcoxson: They have a few good nurses there but more bad then good I was told to report how much money I had on me told two nurses like I was told had be put back in the hospital so I have been calling trying to talk to this nurse about the money instead I was hung up on told she not talking about this and to have a good night and she hung up on me because I asked a question about a nurse who is super sweet that was supposed call me back
Tracey Jones: Odors inside could be handle better
Matthew Welsh: This place needs to be shut down.
Debra Edster: Nightmare experience for my dear friend every single day. NO WATER GIVEN, CALL ALERTS IGNORED. RUDE, UNSKILLED INHUMANE!!!
Chris Lyle: This place neglects their patients. They don't take care of their patients at all. They are under qualified and don't know what they are doing with certain medical equipment. They will not take care of your loved ones here. This place needs to go out of business. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SUED.
Kellie Platt: I love working here, been here for 12 years, and yes we have had our ups and downs but this is an amazing facility with staff that truly care about the residents. The facility smells great and looks clean the Housekeeping staff and laundry staff go above and beyond and always try to keep the residents happy.
Melanie Harris: Anytime I come to visit my grand father in this facility it is always clean and smells amazing. His bedding is always clean as his clothes. Normally in a lot of facilities this is not the case. This home goes above and beyond for its residents. I have had the pleasure of meeting the supervisor Kellie and she is simply amazing. She always has a big smile on her face and is always very polite. This makes me very happy that my grandfather is at this facility. Keep up the good work.
Lori Sarbinowski: As I entered this facility I noticed right away the scent of clean! Normally when you enter this type of facility this is not the case. I was incredibly impressed. My grandmother's clothes were always freshly washed amd pressed. I appreciate the staff for taking excellent care of her hygiene while in their care. Id also like to give kudos to the Supervisor running the laundromat. Kellie is always in good spirits and takes such good care of her resident's. We appreciate her taking such good care of our grammy when we were unable to provide her 24 hour care. We will always remember her contagious smile and willingness to help. Thank you! ❤️
Katelyn Leach: So thankful for manager Kellie and all she does with housekeeping and laundry! She’s always on top of it, sweet, very respectful and cares for the residents! Her staff if great! The building always smells and is clean! Which is exactly what you want in a nursing facility.
Kalee Salisbury: The house keeping departments is on top of everything and is the most organized! I have no doubt on who’s running it is doing their best to make it the best and loves their job to make everyone else love their job! Keep up the great work!!!
Algernon Folmar: I just want to say that the Cleaning Staff and Laundry Staff are great!! You walk in and your nose immediately falls in love with the place. So clean and comfortable. Great place but an even better Manager. Big thankyou to whomever is responsible for hiring your Manager, Ms. Kelly Platt!! She's amazing 😊
Toni Little: Housekeeping staff and Laundry staff are amazing and the building smells good and not like other living centers I have been to. Its clean and the supervisor Kellie is awesome and is always kind and going out of her way to help out in whatever way she can.
Crystal Gutc: 0 stars if possible. My grandma ended up here after hip replacement surgery(from another home) got a call on a Sunday she was not responding and being rushed to hospital, there she was severely dehydrated and had a horrible UTI. Not saying they are to blame, but she never came back to and passed. In my families visits there she never had water within reach, and would guzzle it when we got there. They would have someone “feeding her” but the person would have us “try to get her to eat more” and leave. Not sure what it was like when we weren’t there if she got fed, or even fluids. I will let you decide.
Chan P: The staff do care here! They all have loving hearts!

Yolanda Wells: Respiratory was good and nursing was good 👍 😌 👌
Mario Slappey: My mom is a patient there

Angela Butler: Awesome staff and helpful

John Cromer: Very easy to register. Love the no contact entry. Great innovation.
margaret lucia: Very nice facility..everyone was friendly and helpful..wonderful experience here!!

Dalaina Toombs: The staff is very friendly and works good with my dad. My dad nurse is caring and understands for his needs. The cna does good work even, though they are under staffed. Housekeeping needs to more updated with cleaning rooms, The floor was not mopped bathroom not cleaned and his tray had sticky stuff on it. But when I complain a lady Who worked in housekeeping who area it was not , she, I don’t know her name came cleaned the floor and bathroom she went out her way to do that. This place is a great facility they should update the Rooms-for renovations, the furniture could use new ones along with pant jobs in the hallways and rooms.I would recommend here for veterans..
