Julie Pletzke: We love Aqua-Tots SH! My daughter started at 8 y/o and was very fearful of the water. She decided she wanted to join after watching her little brother have so much fun in his classes. The first couple months of lessons were full of tears and anxiety but she persevered and the coaches were all extremely patient and wonderful to her. She’s had a variety of coaches due to our changing schedules and we’ve loved them all. Now she’s graduated 2 levels, and swimming the full-lane independently and LOVING being in the water. You would never know she ever felt uncomfortable in the pool. It has also provided us peace of mind that our children are confident swimmers and have learned essential safety skills. Not to mention the staff is friendly and super helpful, the facility is clean and well kept. I couldn’t be happier with our experience here.
Fred Gibson: I am now taking my 2nd young grandson to the Sterling Heights Aqua-Tots. I want to recognize staff at the desk- Kayla, Satyra, and Jaymin, as well as swim instructors Kristin, Autumn, and Jake. Each is courteous, friendly, and professional. Kristin is currently instructing my 2nd gdson in Level 3. She is wonderful - patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and always smiling. My 2 1/2 yr old gdson thinks of her as Ariel the mermaid. Without exception, each of the individuals at the desk who I have talked to and each of the swim instructors each of my gdsons have had since early 2019 have been exceptional. Thank you Aqua-Tots.

Although we have had numerous different instructors now due to turnover (which I understand working in healthcare), we have never had a bad instructor and have been happy with each and every one of them! We asked to switch him to Jake’s class when he got his own classes. They made the change for us. My son has grown so much and has looked forward to coming every Saturday to be with him. Ileena Gaines: I Am Very Unhappy With The Service Im Being Provided. My Family transferred and has been at this location for a month and I’m still having the same problems. I’ve spoken to someone face to face 3 times now and nothing has changed. I feel like my money is being wasted and I’m not being taken serious as a customer. When I transferred my son to this location his swim card started over and went from getting stars in the ADVANCED column to being completely empty and started over. I have brought this issue to the staff attention multiple times now. I feel Both ME AND MY CHILD are being ROBBED. My son isn’t being taught properly due to incorrect chart and I’m not getting my money worth due to lack of caring by staff. I’m about ready to just pull my child from the program and take my business else where even though that wouldn’t matter to the Aqua Tot Company One Bit. I will speak with someone in person one more time about this and if the same problem consists then I am going to pull my child.

Kristy Hessler: I am so happy with the experiences my kids have had at aqua tots!! My daughter cannot wait to go to swim class each week and I love seeing her gain confidence in the water. My son is so apprehensive about the water and he tends to be quite difficult with strong emotions about going underwater. The coaches have been so supportive and patient with him. Kristjan had been such a kind and patient coach for my kids and I cannot rave enough about him. He remains calm and patient as they learn. Even when the kids get crazy, he manages them with a smile on his face. Keep up the great work and we will keep coming back!!Another rave review for another exceptional coach, Chelsea!! From our first visit, Chelsea had a positive impact on my kids! My son was so nervous about going underwater the first class, that he for the first 7 minutes. She got in the water to reassure him and she has been a calming presence for him ever since. He loves working with her and always points her out when we go. She also remembers my kids names and is always a bright light to our family!! Thanks Chelsea!!

The first month they studied 3 day but i have to pay full month and now when I can’t cancel the class because I have to tell them 30 days before. Các đây 2 năm chúng đã được tôi dạy bơi trong 2 ngày và con tôi dã tự bơi được nhưng vì dịch bệnh nên chúng quên và tôi dã đưa chúng tới đây.Hôm nay tôi tới để huỷ lớp vào cuối tháng nhưng họ không cho và nói rằng tôi đã ký hợp đồng với họ là phải báo trước 30 ngày trong khi lúc đăng ký không ai thông báo về điều đó hay bất kỳ quy định nào khác. Trong tháng đầu tiên chúng học 3 ngày cuối tháng nhưng tôi vẫn trả nguyên tháng.Các bạn đừng đưa con đến đây vì chúng sẽ chẳng học dược gì ngoài làm bạn tốn tiền và bực mình. Reham Haroun: Disrespectful people. Scheduled an Evaluation class two weeks ahead. They called me two days before to move my class to another date because they filled the class with more important people apparently. The general manager is extremely rude and lack basics of communication skills.
santhi srinivasa: My son was attending 2 classes per week & had many makeups available to use. We had to go on vacation for a month so I called aquatots to keep the account on hold and confirmed to charge for the month he returns & scheduled classes and they sent me a confirmation email for rescheduling. Now when I called they tell me to re enroll as they overbooked those spots by mistake. And the makeup classes I can use only if I pay $10 /month if I am not enrolling him back. @aquatots this is bad on your side you have overbooked and removed our schedule and trying to charge for those makeup classes which we paid already. You better stop cheating customers and correct your process & system
Mami Cle: This review is based on the customer service, ELIZABETH is the very least pleasant to deal with, it’s like talking to a wall, as a manager she needs to work on her customer relations skills! The staff at the front desk aren’t very welcoming, sometimes when you walk in, they might greet you if they aren’t gossiping amongst one another. One day AquaTots decided to call me within 15 minutes of my sons class and I was already 5 minutes away, my commute is a 35 minute drive, I was upset and I was not just going to accept an apology for the inconvenience cuz they hold the standard for customers to cancel at least within an hour but they can cancel within 15 minutes? No! I had to talk to two different managers and they finally refunded me for that class they canceled. I recently put in my 30-day notice, my last day to be April 22nd, the waiver signed says if there are 5 weeks in the month that a bonus class can be scheduled as long as the bonus class doesn’t fall on a day that they are closed! My bonus day should have been April 29th! But They emailed me telling me to reschedule April 15th since they are closed that Friday for Easter weekend, the date got pushed to April 29th, Elizabeth is trying to say that I got my bonus day because of that, which is not the case cuz my son only has 4 classes this month instead of 5 still! 4/15 was NOT my bonus day, it was a regular scheduled day that got canceled cuz of Easter. I’be emailed the owner, let’s see if the owner is any better than her/his staff.

Deon B: This is a little embarrassing but I am an adult who didn’t know how to swim. As I was searching for places to take my son to learn how to swim, I ran across Aqua Tots in Dearborn. So I called and spoke with Courtney, who took the time to answer all my questions. She invited me in and gave me the tour. I met the staff and they made me feel so comfortable, I signed myself and my son up for classes. On my first adult lesson, Rachel understood my fear and embarrassment and also made me feel super comfortable. Then Brianna (my other adult instructor) got to know me and did the same. From Victoria at the front desk to all my son’s swim instructors, I could not have asked for a better situation for my son and I. They are our weekend family and you can’t tell me differently. I wish I could give more than 5 stars as this is not enough. If you are looking for a place to take your children or even yourself, Aqua Tots Dearborn is the place. You will see why!

Drew Walls: We have been at Dearborn since October of 22 after transferring from Canton where shes swam since 7 months old roughly.The staff here has been extremely upbeat, from the friendly faces at the front desk who always greet us when we come in to the instructors who are fantastic with my daughter.Taking a vested interest in her life, being personable and we are very grateful for them working dilligently twd her development in a major way.Major props for Coach Liz, Coach Olivia, Coach Karissa who have been amazing and instrumental in her success in jumping hurdles in 2 levels forward in just a few short months, we thank this school for being there for us, and making us feel like family, if you dont know where to go, definitely come here, you will be extremely happy here!

When Connor had nervous feelings about swimming they asked me how they can make his class better and put it in his file so whatever coach he got knew he wanted or didn't want certain things to happen.
fatima chamas: I can’t put into words how grateful i am for dany, he instructs my 7 years autistic non verbal and he did develop a bond with him , my son cant wait to see him . Not to forget that sometimes due to my son’s autism he gets frustrated and may have some aggressive behavoirs, dany knows how to deal with him gently and kindly . The front disk are so kind and helpful , especially kortney , i have 3 other neurotypical kids and they are having a blast and learning new skills at aquatots .Changing rooms and bathrooms are always clean . Parents always remember that the number one cause for death in autistic kids is drowning, so teaching my son how to swim has always been a priority for me. Thank you dany you may be saving my kid’s life by your patience and kindness.

Kristin: We are so happy to be at Goldfish. My 3.5 year old son started with Miss Sarah then moved on to Mr. Shane, and has loved coming each week! They truly have taught him so much already, we look forward to seeing how much more he can progress in the water, as well as learning how to swim safely.
Josh Saari: We had my son's first birthday party here and it was unpleasant. There is poor communication between employees, management, and the customer. For example, when we scheduled the party we were told the pool would be open the entire time for the kids to swim. We were also told we were not allowed to bring food. However when we arrived the day of the party they had put a time limit on pool use, so some families did not get to make use of the pool at all. They also asked us if we had food we wanted to bring in. It would have been nice to be able to plan for food for our guests ahead of time. The staff began putting tables and chairs away while we were still there, so many of our guests had to stand while we opened gifts. It was very clear the employees wanted to rush us out of there. Very unpleasant and unprofessional and I am wondering why they would even offer a service to host parties at all since it seemed to be such an inconvenience having us there. The cupcakes were good, but there was a 25 person limit so there was not enough for everyone.

Ashley Emswiler: We started swimming lessons originally with a different company, we were with that company for a almost a year before switching to goldfish and I wish we would have MUCH sooner. In the short month we have been with Goldfish my son (2 yo) has already improved so much! The staff is all incredible, and so knowledgeable. We are very excited to see our son progress in their program.
Matt Jacob: An employee wearing street clothes had to jump in the pool and rescue my 5 year old. What were the assigned lifeguards doing? What if the employee in street clothes hadn’t been there? Why would I pay for this service if I can’t trust the lifeguards to pay attention
Jenn Werner: Loved this place. We terminated our lessons rather abruptly. My young child had just been the reason the pool had to close. Management loudly made sure everyone knew it was my child and I was the child's parent. We were embarrassed in front of our peers, which wasn't their policy from my understanding. Until that moment, we had been having 5 star experiences. That was our first and only experience with that manager. I wish I could remember her name. It's been years and my child still brings it up. ruby .gupta: Coaches are good but just horrible customer service and policies in general. They keep cancelling classes as well as makeup classes. Barely any dates available for makeup classes. Who has the time to be on phone everyday for hours just to know that all the time spent will go in vain since the make class will also be cancelled. Seriously, what a scam!
Rajesh Bhagat: Perfect place for adult to learn swimming
Sonia Hirani: I was so excited to find adult swimming class but it did not workout. The classes kept getting cancelled every other week. In 6 weeks 3 classes got cancelled. When I called the customer service rep to cancel the membership, they charged me 50% of cost for the classes I did not even take. This place is a BIG scam. Just run away from it when you see it in ads or anywhere.
Vikrant Mahajan: I have horrible experience. Swim class location was Anytime fitness but there was no sign outside or inside building calling Safesplash. instructor showed up half hour late. I had to call and ask for instructor. She arrived late but didn't bother to ask if we had our first class and continued swimming with another lady. I had to go ask if she was instructor or someone else. I was charged extra months membership fees and late cancellation charges. It's a horrible experience and a scam to charge customers. Please dont go if you like value for money.
Melissa Bess Terrell: Our instructor was fantastic. Our son has autism and she worked with him so well. She was so kind and patient. We are excited to continue working with them.
Laura Woodmore: Alyssa was a great instructor for our 2.5 year old daughter, she had an absolute blast and warmed up to Alyssa so quick. Which never happens with strangers! Great experience, we are coming back for lesson 2 and 3 very soon!

Chantel Talbot: After 5 shorts weeks of classes with our 2-year-old (one class a week), she's gone from HATING getting water in her face during bath time, to asking to go to the pool and loving going under the water. The instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable. But one of the biggest things I've noticed is how clean and accommodating they are.
Shubh Sushmita: Overall I had a good experience with my daughter's progress at Aquatots, Auburn hills, that's why we prefer coming here even though it's far for us. All the coach we have had till far are all friendly and good at what they do. It's just that we ask at the front desk everytime after my daughter graduates to a new level, if its possible to get our choice of instructors, with whom she has already taken classes and is super comfortable with.

Ricardo Brandao Costa: They keep the kids waiting on the swimming pool board almost all the time. It's a swimming class with no swimming. They don't have enough instructors for all the kids they put in the swimming pool, so the kids are mostly waiting and freezing outside the water. The swimming cards are not updated frequently, and the instructors don't know the level of the kid that they put in each class. It's really frustrating. Moving my kid to another school.

Dheeraj Kandula: A very dedicated set of instructors. The class size is limited to at max 4 students. But nowadays, the classes are merged and there may be 5 students too for a 30 minutes class. I prefer they rather cancel the class where there is no instructor.
Kathleen Hagan: We love Aqua tots and the staff at Auburn Hills. Swim class is my daughters favorite time of the week.

Memo Francis: My kid has been on Aqua Tot’s by 8 months. He started on level 3 and move to Level 4 after 6 months. Now the progress is slow and the problem I think is the heavy rotation on their personnel, so each couch have different ways to teach and didn’t remember the progress of the kid, so need to start over again.My kid has been taught by more than 10 coaches in 8 months.Now we have 1 good coach, hope we keep this until he finish this level.
