Meghan Josefosky: The Smoked Turkey was the sleeper. Everything was fresh and delicious but the turkey was so good. It took me by surprise. The beans were perfect and the Mac n cheese was so tasty. E. Duncan: I will not return to this place of bussiness. It's literally a marketing theme that it's a sort of smoke house. Yeah they smoke ribs but they aren't even close to being what they claim. We tried 2 seperate options from the menu and could not stomach eaither..the pork was clearly old and served cold,and the brisket wasn't smoked. The server was stumbling and was clearly intoxicated and did not wear a mask. The bar crowd was very vulgar and intentionally disrespectful to us while we tried to eat. My 11 year old daughter couldn't make her way to the restroom because a man aproached her and tried to grope her. The restroom was in disarray, urine on the floor and smelled of fecal matter and raw sewage. The little owner or manager was present and was so intoxicated that my wife could not aproach him. This was a totally bad idea but we were drawn in because of the smokehouse theme. Big mistake.

The service was average for yesteryear (which means pretty good by today's standards, no lol.) but could have been a Lil friendlier. The atmosphere seemed to be something out of wrong turn until another customer broke the ice & then we both laughed.Parking: Size of lot seemed small.

So my sister wanted me to try it as it was nostalgic to her and she's a rib fanatic (she never said it was good/ delicious) Sister called to ask a question about possible lunch specials, was referred to menu online and was hung up on...I called back to place the order based on online menu, phone rung so long I nearly forgot who I was calling, gentleman answered the phone said hold on I have to tend to the grill... same rude young lady then got back on the phone and took our order (i would've gone somewhere else if it were my choice). Same female employee greeted is as we come in the door, asked did we place an order already and what is the name on it, gave that information, she then stated well you're going to have to wait a few minutes I'll give everyone their orders at the same time (speaking of the others waiting, we had the smallest order). In my mind I'm thinking bad energy, bad food... for those who seek food for nostalgia sake, their sauce taste like old school Greens Bar-b-cue and a bit like Youngs Bar-b-cue. Our ribs were quite charred, not to the point they were dry, thankfully. The steak fries were delicious and cooked just right. Based on the service alone, I'd NEVER return. The sauce wasn't too my liking. The ribs had little flavor... aside from being charred! I'm sure you can guess why we/I did not call to complain. For this to be a Detroit staple, it's disheartening.

Regene Richardson: That sauce just a RUINED the ribs and chicken. I should have paid attention when the person in front of me in line said no sauce. I cant even figure out what the taste is - but it is smoky flavor (almost burnt), thick molasses or brown sugar and vinegar. I am sure the sauce would be good if the mix of ingredients was right.... This was just a bad experience and I cannot see how the line is so long here. After reading more recent reviews I can see that a lot of people also agree that something is wrong with that sauce!!

Shannon OBrien: The only thing wrong with this park is that the parents stay in their cars all the time and the kids do leave candy wrapper and drink bottles sometimes. The bathrooms open when the weather is warmer and they lock them around 7-9pm not sure. Yes dogs have to be on a leash too. But it isn’t enforced and there are empty baseball fields to let them run loose and fence them in so thats cool too. Someone set off fireworks in the bathroom and now they are locked all the time so thanks a bunch for that
