I ordered 5 yards of pea gravel from this company and they had one of the most expensive prices around for pea gravel but they were willing to deliver same day so I didn't mind. However, what they dropped off wasn't even enough to fill a 4-yard dumpster that I had and I paid for 5 yards of expensive pea gravel. I feel cheated and I don't have enough pea gravel to finish the job when I originally ordered more than necessary.

Mr Matt: I ordered and paid for 2 full cords of firewood over the phone. When the delivery driver showed up with 2 face cords, I was completely confused. I called while the delivery driver was still in the driveway and the person on the phone claimed that they sent “2 full face cords”.They refused to rectify the situation and the person on the phone became very rude. They refused to give me a refund and became extremely unprofessional.I have been a customer here for over 16 years, but I will never deal with them again. Do not make the mistake of dealing with this company because they do nothing to fix their mistakes and they will take advantage of you.

Debbie Rossman: I am so happy to have found this company,THE YARD.I ordered 2 yards of top soil.And I received real top soil with in 45 mins.I bought a yard of top soil from another company a few weeks ago, however, what I received a was dirt....Not top soil...not even close.

tiffany hayden: I actually just called to let them know that their top soil is not usable for gardening. Last year we got a bunch delivered, also some fill dirt. While they were not the same they were very simaler. We had very little harvest last year, this soil is hard like concrete. This year we went to home depot to buy amenents. Manure, compost, peat moss and perlite in hopes to save our backs as that dirt went in some above ground beds. We are unable to mix in amendments. It is so hard almost like cement! Now we are digging out all off this dirt and getting rid of it. This is a HARD job! Yesterday I called another company for 5 yards of compost this time. While looking for another company I saw the new reviews for the Yard that were simpler to my experience. They need yo inspect this dirt or change suppliers. Your plants will fail. They are nice and friendly, unfortunately their product is less than desirable.

Lauren Bianchi: The delivery and prices were great but unfortunately the product isn’t working for us for our garden beds and we’ve had to spend more money than we saved on this soil so it won’t kill the rest of our plants. We’ve spent all day trying to make it workable for us as we’ve already lost plants to the soil/compost mix. We’ve aerated the soil and added $200 in perlite so we can try to use it this year. The lady I talked to from the company was kind but we were ultimately told it is what it is and it won’t be investigated unless other people have the same issue. the product we ordered/received is disappointing. It honestly looks and acts like fill dirt and not soil.

(They used to be open Sunday) When I started shoveling it out I started finding huge clumps in it! When I tried to cut them apart I discovered it was clay! Just what I need in my yard, more clay! I have pcs from a golf ball size to 10"!Buyer beware....

Rene Wittkop: Comp was supposed to deliver us top soil worker said his supply was coming. We kept calling because we were in deadline to get equipment turned back in. At 330 they said the supply delivery never came. It eaa too late for me to find another comp to deliver to me. Both neighbor and I kept calling. I went to get refund. They didn't apologize or anything. Will never step foot back in that place ever. Bad customer service

F: Whatever man came to our home to deliver was incredibly ignorant and unprofessional. I will never use their services again and I would absolutely never recommend them to anyone.How can you be a grown adult and still not know how to talk to people in a respectful manner.

The management offered excellent customer service- add to, or subtract from the amount of topsoil I needed, without penalty. Price was very competitive as well.Cons: None. I recommend The Landscape Supply Yard without reservation. I won't go anywhere else for fill or topsoil, and will buy whatever I need from them. Highly recommend. Thanks!
