Maryam Talib: The way that when I called the front desk to ask when my annual membership would end because I didn't want to continue paying the monthly fee. I was told it would it would end in February, and then the payments continued through April. When I called in, they told me I had to come in person to cancel my membership. When I asked the billing department for a refund for the months ofMarch and April, he said there was nothing he can do for me even though I wasn’t given the full information when I inquired about it. Then he said you should’ve remembered that you had to come in person to cancel the membership when I MADE THE MEMBERSHIP OVER A YEAR AGO! how is it that I lost $120 because someone was too incompetent to provide me with the complete information?!

Plebb Gaming: They wouldn’t let us in even with a membership and the employee was very passive aggressive and rude. Also I’ve seen many workers let in friends of theirs without memberships. Lastly they’ve never cleaned their courts or gyms, I constantly slip over the dust on the courts. I almost forgot to include the fact that they have guest passes on their website and when we asked to use a guest pass they said they don’t do them!Both the member and guest were above the age of 18 and we were still refused.a guest pass. Also when we purchased the membership we were never told that there would be an age limit to the guest pass, and many employees have told us that don’t do guest passes even though we were told the membership comes with guest passes.

They don’t take concerns about racism seriously, instead they gaslight and invalidate their black members rather than taking accountability and apologizing. They’re overpriced and unprofessional, go to another gym. If you’re looking for a professional women’s only gym try powerhouse or athletica. don’t give this place your money, they won’t respect you

Kideck: The customer service was amazing today! Ali, the manager, stopped what he was doing to help my son find an item that was lost. Thank goodness he found it, but many establishments would have told him to take the L and the manager would have kept doing whatever else he was doing. My son and I want to say “Thank you Ali, and thank you Hype for having excellent customer care and putting members first!”

Aphrojite x: If I could give zero stars I would. The staff does not take racial slurs and bullying seriously. Especially when it’s African Americans. Instead of canceling or suspending the membership’s of racist people they suspended victims of bullying. Which led to suspending the racist for A WEEK. Then claimed we’re playing the victim. I have never experienced a more unprofessional facility.

Cassidy Moore: Unfortunately I have to say this place is not African American friendly at all, if you are of any other race that’s not Arab I would stay away from this establishment. There are no regulations for children who seem to run the place more than the actual staff, so be prepared to hear loud,un behaved kids run around saying racial slurs and not even have a membership… you pay all this money just to have others just hanging around for free because again they don’t have strict enough guidelines when it comes to these things. To put the cherry on top if any kind of incident happens with you were you want action to be done and someone to be held accountable that simply will not happen you will be blown off and not taken seriously so if you plan on bringing your kids be prepared for the bullying because it’s outrageous!It became about your organization when your organization decided to do nothing about the situation, seeing how you again blame the victim shows your true colors alone, you fail to take responsibility and care more about protecting racist. Also this wasn’t a bad experience with just 1 child this was a group of children that has happened more than once so again you as an organization tolerate racism and to say Im being discriminatory and hurtful when not only my family but another were victims of discrimination by the lack of action of your organization is disgusting. You’d think in 2023 I as an African American wouldn’t have to question my families well being in certain establishments or deal with ignorance like this but I guess hype athletic is not ready to start holding people accountable and protecting members from blatant hate speech… and just from your unprofessional/insensitive comment I will not be back to speak with anyone.

Sug Mae: Used to love this gym until one of your workers kept making excuses that I’m not aloud on the indoor track for example 1 day he said I’m not aloud with a coach the next day he said I’m not aloud because there are people running then he made an excuse that it’s to busy like if I’m paying 30 dollars a month I would at least like to use the stuff I payed for especially when the basketball Courts are full and I need to find something else to do other then the gym

Maysaa Rahal: I'm not sure how long I've been going to this gym. Excellent programs and classes. My daughter enjoys it. It's also close to our house. The staff is friendly, with special mention going to Brian and Leon, who are both friendly and professional. I only wish they could open at 4 or 5 a.m., which would be very convenient for working people.

Aimanj 421: Hype athletics is a very nice place, has nice people and very good equipment both in the gym and the basketball courts which have been up to date each year, I recommend it to anyone that likes going to the gym for weight lifting or to play basketball

Nooralhuda Albahiesh: Ive a member of this gym for 7 years now. The ladies side is always expanding and offers everything you need whether is a light workout or more advanced. It’s very clean and their hours stay late which makes it convenient for my schedule. I’d definitely recommend it!! The front desk workers are really friendly and helpful!

Theresa: No pavilion! No picnic tables! We wanted to meet with another couple for a takeout dinner. Ended up bringing chairs and a card table. Sudden rain ruined it! Next time we'll go to a park in Troy since more have pavilions.

Cathy Pope: This is a really cool park with three play areas and a lot of green grass to run around. There's some toys hanging about for kids to play and some music to play under one of the slides.The sign notes this park as accessible, but I don't think it is. There's one path that leads to the top of one of the play areas, but there's no slides or activities that are accessible otherwise. The floor is made of wood chips instead of rubber. And the accessible swing is on an island that has no path leading to it and wood chips surrounding it. It's muddy in the grass.If they replaced the wood chips with rubber and added paths that travel across each play area, I think it would make it much more inclusive.

Kyle Hopper: Very large, open space park within the Royal Oak community. Lots of room for dogs to run around, a tennis and basketball court, and jungle gyms for children to play on. Only downside is the grass is not always well kept and can get quite tall in parts (true even before Covid), and after rainfall, large parts of it are submerged in standing water. The open space though really allows for finding nice secluded spots to picnic or sit out and read while still providing room for others to perform more active pastimes like frisbee or catch.

Anastasia Abdoo (anastasia kay): This is a great place to bring your dog, bring kids to the playground and is very fun popular for baseball and soccer during the school year. They have a basketball court and a tennis court as well.

Dan J: I run with my dog at Red Run Park. Lots of space, plenty of squirrels to play with, and the landscape varies from an area of trees to a huge field to a soft grassy area that is apparently a blast to roll in.
