William Gaggos: West Marine has always been overpriced but they have a store front down the street so I've patronized them countless times over the past 15 years. I just stopped in to return two items ($250+), but because I did not have the receipt they refused to even give me store credit. It could not have been more obvious the items were from West Marine, I'm even a Member of the "club" but for some reason when I bought these items it was not under my membership. I guess I will avoid West Marine for now on and just use Amazon.

Brian: Great marine supply store but it does not carry as much inventory as other West Marine Stores in southeastern Michigan. This is due to the building being smaller than other West Marine Stores I have visited, plus it is located in a strip mall. They are also currently out of stock or very low on stock on many items due to issues with suppliers and the virus pandemic according to the employees. Regardless it is a very clean and organized store with a friendly knowledge staff and since the store is only 5 minutes away from my house, I frequently visit this location hoping I can find the parts and supplies I need before driving a half hour to the next closest West Marine.

Drove a block over to Mikes Marine stepped up to Mikes Parts Counter, guy ask what do I need? He looked at my part which I had, he ask which engine, walked over to shelf in store and placed part on counter perfect match and we discussed installation. Always, always, always on point.

Jim: Awesome place, excellent people. Always helpful with projects, hard to find boating parts and accessories. Great inventory, if they don't have it they're willing to order it or will tell you where you can get it. Everyone here is awesome, old fashioned customer service you just can not find elsewhere, make this your first stop.
