Chris Twomley: What customer service? Tried to buy a new boat from them and couldn't Place was horrible. When I called, they said the we're too busy to talk and didn't call me for 3 days. Then, when they finally called me back, I asked them for an all in quote because it was a new boat, it had no electronics or a cover. They informed me they couldn't do that, and I had to do it myself. What kind of dealer can't sell you a boat that's ready to go? Very disappointed.

Mary Ellen: Will never do business with them again! Bought a boat and were pretty much lied to about everything! Beginning to think the survey was even made up. Trying to sell it now and finding out even more things that we were lied to about it. Terrible! I can't believe they are still in business!

David Grayson: TJ and the staff at McMachen Marine are GREAT! I was frankly concerned with some of the scathing Google reviews about McMachen when I choose to buy a boat from them from out of state. TJ proved to be very responsive to my questions and honest in every measure. They DID NOT represent the boat with any false pretense. Furthermore, they helped me with out-of-state trailer registration problems AFTER THE SALE! I have bought 5 boats in the past 20 years and McMachen Marine has proven to be the best! If you are looking for a good boat, honesty and satisfying purchase experience, then McMachen is the place.

David Desparois: Gigantic bunch of liars. I bought a boat there they are a big bunch of liars who claim they can only tell me what the owner tells them if they can't back it up they shouldn't even talk about it. The boat didn't run right I have to completely redo the fuel system and the lower unit they claimed it had isn't what it was supposed to be so there was a gigantic price difference in the two and the one I have isn't good enough for the application. They claim and disclaimers they are not responsible for that but my lawyer thinks differently. I have not pursued that option at this time. It also took almost two months to get the paperwork finally done.

Mike Starkey: Purchased a vessel from them last fall, have had major problems with engines , boat was listed as having engines replaced and only 65 hours on them, after numerous break downs and having certified mercury mechanic go thru motors one needing heads replaced and the other which turned out to be a vovlo penta"red in color" painted black having a bad cam shaft and unknown hours on it , now I have to remove and rebuild it, this all comes along with no help from broker at all, they will not even call me back after speaking with them about the issue, would never recommend !

Steve Miller: The staff at McMachen made my first cruiser purchase smooth and enjoyable. TJ was EXTREMELY helpful and patient with all of my questions (a lot of them), and worked with me through the entire process. He was diligent in helping me negotiate with the seller to get a great price and make sure everything was in order. From showing me each of the boats I was interested in, to helping set up the mechanical inspection and survey, TJ was spot on every step of the way. Great communication and very timely. JoAnne was also a wonderful help securing the loan (at a great rate), and making sure all closing, title and registration details were taken care of. She even suggested an insurance company that saved me a lot of money over every other quote. If you do your research and know what you want, TJ and staff will help get you into a great boat!

The appetizers are over priced and not that good. The calamari really bothers me. Also the hostess has an attitude that’s not favorable.

Exactly what one would expect from one of the most extraordinarily competitive sailing clubs in the states: sleek, functional, well tuned and very inviting. Unfortunately, there are no social memberships offered but YCA reciprocity is recognized.

The open water on Cass Lake is an ideal setting for sailing instruction at all skill levels for ages 7 to 17 years old. All program instructors are US Sailing Certified.
