9-Mile Boat Launch and Pier: what do users think?
Matt Fischer Fishing: The ramp is quite shallow and takes a little time if you are launching by yourself. The lady that works the booth in the mornings is the best and if you're nice to her, she'll give you a ride to your boat in the golf cart!
Robert Lemke: Took Mary.Honestly. Not a place to take beginner's.The Pier is still eating your rig up.I'm 47 year's older than my Mary. It's really not that different. Other than you were already riding a bike
Scott Soucy: Nice spot for fishing or boating. Water isn't very deep, but there are lots of spots to fish from the bank. Nice views of the lake.
Sadie Brim-Jackson: Enjoyed a morning of fishing with cousin Linda and granddaughter Amber
Drake Chen: Used it once, never a problem but always wondered if I can launch at night time for fishing
James Ward: been coming here for 50 years
Valencia Hughes: Clean and decent!
Carrie Holifield: Was a nice quiet place to chill bring dogs and BBQ beautiful views if the lake
The Man Garage: For $15 its probably the worst launch on LSC. Very shallow ramp so if you are launch alone you WILL have to walk in the water getting in and out of your truck. Very short floating dock that you can't tie to and also back down into. Some tie off points on the steel sea wall in the basin would be very helpful but no. For $5 it would be a 4 star experience. For $15 it leaves VERY much to be desired. I can't wait for Crocker to open back up.
Jerry Orzechowski: Not very happy with the $15 fee to get in every time quite expensive in this economy but the lady with the golf cart was very nice helping us get our stuff to the boat it's a very long walk otherwise thumbs up
Karen Thornton: Great place to fish, and awesome water views.
V K: Great area to fish from shore
Stacey Rackham: The pier is a nice walk.
Eduardo angulo: Rampa para botes , lugar donde realizan deporte de pesca en el malecón con una vista muy hermosa.
Chris Meader: Solid fishing spot for all ages and all experience levels. You can fish right into Lake St. Claire on two sides or right into a canal. The canal had some sturdy rocks to stand on and I’ve caught a few different species. Park is relatively clean. Some trash I’ve seen which I wish they would come through and pick up more frequently. You do need to share the space with a ton of geese as well so watch out for some land minds. Plus side is that the gas station up the the street has a small bait store selling live baits or plastics. Not a huge selection but plus side for stopping in to grab some bait on the way. Overall, love this spot. Keep in mind that the parking lot to the actual fishing area is about a 1/4 mile or so. Be prepared to walk a bit
David K.: Would not allow me to use ID to launch boat.
Derek Wartner: Fishing there is almost always a surprise..... You will ALWAYS catch something, you just will never know what to expect.... Except you can expect some smalls and large mouth bass in in some shape or size
Its Timbo: Love to fish here
John Banks: Haven't gotten any good fishing yet
Heidi Bodner: The worst boat dock ever
Stevie Cockerham: It's nice. Pretty clean. Right on Lake St. Clair so it's kind of windy but it's to be expected. It's shaped like a peninsula and you can fish on all sides. I didn't catch anything but other people did so I do believe there are fish there. It's easy to find, too. 9 mile Rd east until there's no more road and you only have water in front of you. Well there actually be a gate but you get what I mean.
