ken glowski: Workmanship is impeccable. Props were completed ahead of time and they had stainless keystock and cotter pins available. Great place to do business.

Tim Carney: These folks are pros. Our Volvo Penta powered trawler had a nagging issue where it was slow to start. Before coming to Blue Water we worked with multiple mechanics who tried but were unable to diagnose issue. Blue Water were able diagnose and fix the issue. We worked with one mechanic (Warren) throughout the repair, getting multiple updates and clear estimates for each part of the fix. We couldn’t have been happier with the work. Highly recommend them!

colin miller: I needed technical help in figuring out how to setup a 1994 75 hp Mercury on a different boat with new controls, cables and ignition. Warren was very patient and helped me to figure out what I needed. Warren wrote detailed notes and consulted both his technicians and contacted Mercury to find out how to make a new control work with the old engine. I feel like a lot of parts stores would not have taken time- I would highly recommend Warren and Blue Water Marine to anyone!

We really appreciate the time and explanation that Warren gave us for the work on our boat. Also, for leaving the work area tidy. They did the job right. Charles Noonan: At the end of each Michigan boating season, I have my boat serviced, winterized and shrink wrapped. After ten years of hit and miss shops, A boating friend suggested Blue Water Marine. This is where I have and will continue to have my boat serviced and winterized. The price is fair and stable year to year. The boat is always returned clean, in a timely manner and starts right up every spring. The shrink wrap has never failed, no burn marks and survives the Michigan winters outdoors. The staff removes and returns the batteries and covers, helps maneuver the parking lot and calls with updates. Very nice to work with.

eric d: Went to look at at boat for sale here today. The owner quickly became defensive when asked simple questions about the condition of the boat and told me I didn't know what I was doing when inspecting the transom. He said the boat was all composite construction when in fact the boat in question uses wood for much of the internal structure. His coworker told me the pitted aluminum prop was fine and just needed paint. These guys said they've been selling boats for over 50 years but they have not learned yet how to gain the trust of a potential buyer. Oh well, it looked like a nice boat and I came to buy, instead I went bye bye...buyer beware.

Living life: Went in today and dropped my motor off. They were polite and seemed very knowledgeable looking forward to seeing what the problem is so I can get back on the water

Ron Gelios: Not Happy with this company. I rented a storage spot for 6 months for my boat. The first week I asked them to change the oil and spark plugs. He said, (Keith) that they were backed up and he had to do it after hours, under the table. I was called the next day and he said he could do it that morning and for me to bring cash ($350) and it would be done by 2pm. I did not receive a bill or receipt. This was done during normal business hours. I sold the boat the second week and was told I would not be reembursed any part for storage. Within the first month they rented my spot. I planned to pick up a smaller boat but decided to wait until spring because my spot was taken by another boat. Bad Etiquette!Services:Tune-ups,Engine repair,Oil change

Craig Goring: Would never use this service again. Kieth ripped me off 450.00. And did nothing but damage my boat. He destroyed my stator and timing advance , I have had to take it right from getting boat to the water to find out that he just stole the money and broke my boat to get more out off me. Now it is costing me 2000.00 to fix. I am in the process of suing k&d marine for the damages they caused.
