Kuhnhenn Brewing: what do users think?
Erik Courter: Good brews, good people, good sushi, good time. That's all you need!
Yurii Snihur: beer is good here .🤠
Miraj D'Ave: One of my favorite metro detroit breweries. Also karaoke is fun when they have it and you can always watch some football and have fun even back in the tent days of covid we could have a blast here.
Ron Houseman: Great selection and atmosphere.
Mike Moore: A wonderful microbrew that also sells giant pretzels !
D Fletch: Check it out love it or hate it. Kuhnhenn stays consistent. Same staff same dedication and commitment to the team family. If you were here years ago the bartenders and all the regulars are still here. The good beer service, standard of service, is what you get at k1. Check out the other reviews, come and take a look for yourself. It definitely has a good feel, and some excellent beer. Been coming for years, time to show love. CK it out.
Dominic Frigo: Still great staff and atmosphere, have been coming here since I turned 21 and got engaged waiting in a solstice line here. Hope the popcorn and beer continue to flow for years to come.
Lois Wininger: We've been coming here forever and are always happy. Friendly staff and great beers what more can you ask for?
Rebecca Verbic: Great atmosphere, great beer!
Carlos Garcia: A Detroit classic in the craft beer scene. These guys have been doing this for a long time and doing it well.Their 4th D is an incredibly tasty, and strong, old ale. The variants are worth the hunt. If you like stouts and darker beers, Creme Brulee Java Stout has got you covered. Not a crazy pastry stout full of adjuncts, but an exquisite rendition of a perfectly crafted stout. Their meads are very solid as well. They have great sushi to order.Go. You need to.
August Gitschlag: No better beer in Michigan
Bobby B: This place is legendary!
Oron Penguin: Can’t believe it! It’s so GOOD! Beers are fantastic and the food is excellent! Very relaxing and service is very nice:)
MrMrs T: Wonderful tap beers; Bryan is the best bartender, EVER! He handled at least 40 customers by himself for three hours, and was there until 6 pm on his own. He handled the bar, tables and customer service efficiently, politely and was also very informative. The personal pan pizzas were delicious; the Asian food that is available is also SO great! The variety and flavors of the tapped beers is awesome! Highly recommend Kuhnhenn!
Alan Smeckert: Best beer in the country.
Joe Modzski: Great beer!
Grant Kersten: Order the pretzel, its worth the trip.
glen suszko: So wonderful beer and a huge selection.
Alexander Stewart: You'll come for the beer but you'll stay for the conversation. Brian, the bartender on Sundays, is the funniest, friendliest guy I've ever met. The place feels like Cheers when he's around and he's always got every need covered. Knowledgeable, friendly and fast. He keeps me coming back week after week. (The fantastic beer doesn't hurt either)
Emmanuel Smith: Great service and great vibes! They had a DJ tonight and it was magnificent! You don’t see this often at bars in Warren. We need to see more of it so folks like myself and the packed bar don’t spend our money in Royal Oak or Detroit. I really hope they book more DJ’s and hold more events.

Brewingworld: what do users think?
Richard Koscik: Rated five stars in support but they are closed and possibly by appointment doing something. They do have a for sale sign.
Benjamin Wright: Terrible website. Barely more than a placeholder.
Travis Thompson: My experience was great. The guy running. The place was amazing very helpful. Gave me a lot of insight on brewing and techniques. It was probably the best place I've ever been.
J Cole: Great prices and great selection of brew supplies and kits.
Tom: Have everything a experience Brewer needs
Art Arsenault: All your brewing needs
Mary Buzz's FB: Good for supplies. Need to dusy3
Alex Matthews: Nobody was there. Their bell was broken. Waited 20 minutes then left
Scott Landers: I have been going here for about 5 years and this place has slowly declined every year until I have finally sworn off shopping here and instead now drive an extra 30 minutes out of my way for homebrew products. They are always out of some major grains (like basic pale malt), their yeasts are always at least 6 months old, if not older, and the people that work there seem oblivious. The last time I went in, they had a Ring doorbell instead of an actual person at the front desk and had to wait about 15 minutes just to be told they didn't have a few basic grains and it was impossible to get a bag from their brewery to open. The store is always dirty too with thick layers of dust. I am very sad to see such poor management of what could be a great store.
Karee Todd: Great place to get all you need to start brewing!
Bill Boelke: Knowledgeable helpful staff. Answered questions and made recommendations.
Mr E: Had what i needed
Todd S: Great place for advice and recipes, just has not changed or improved over the years, employees are always great, it would be nice to see some updated equipment that's available, a more accessible display of parts, its behind the counter and obscured by stuff would be nice as well
Alex C: Perfect place to get anything brewing related, and really awesome employees that are super helpful to this novice.
Eric Kuhnhenn: Great supply shop for all your home beer and wine making needs
Joel Anderson: Great for when I want grains for my brew-brews.
Henry Van Der Laar: Tons of different grains that you can scoop and grind right there in the store. Solid selection of malt extracts, lots of different hops and yeasts. I've always been able to find the adjuncts I need. They don't have a ton of equipment for sale but they have the little things you need every time like caps and grain bags. Very helpful staff, great place to go if you are new to homebrewing. They have helped me figure out what I needed on multiple occasions.
Bob Urraro: Get all your Brewing needs taken care of here
Trevor Maas: constantly out of stock of base malts. staff is great and the place works in a pinch but don't expect to find everything you are looking for to make that perfect brew.
David Wiesman: Very friendly, and went through the entire kit piece by piece to make sure it would work with my refrigerator to kegerator conversion. Even walked outside with me to look at the refrigerator to make sure the shank was long enough to go through the wall of refrigerator.
Jeff phelps: Very helpful with any questions I had and seemed passionate about the subject rather than bothered by my complete cluelessness. Bottles are much cheaper than getting them online!

Cadillac Straits Brewing Company: what do users think?
Melissa Galant: Beer was good, food not so much :(
Thomas Fougerousse: Good food and great beer , nice atmosphere .
Jason Findlan: Food good, beer good. But, after calling ahead with a party of 13 (8 adults, 5 kids) and arriving 30 minutes after they opened on a Saturday, SERVICE was sloooow. Three hours to eat lunch. brutal. will never be back.
Devon Johnson: The beer was good! Nice to have a spot like this in Madison Heights. The bartender with the red hair behind the bar didn’t seem too interested in being there. I’ll be back to try out the other beer options.
Kota M: Excellent service, amazing alcohol, and amazing alcohol. Couldn't really ask for anything more :)
Stephen Fletcher: In house Root Beer is fantastic. Great appetizers
Amanda Rose: Great beer, staff is always friendly, and one of the few breweries to offer food
Sara Skuta: Hands down amazing service! Corey and Dave will ensure that your experience is fantastic. Experienced recommendations, with vast knowledge and top notch service. I will not go anywhere else for craft brews and phenomenal service!
Toby Booker: Great beer and nice small atmosphere. Definitely recommend it!
Tony Greening: Great beer, great fits, and super nice people!
Mark Van Amberg: Fun trivia and great customer service
Jennifer Wacker: Food and drinks were good. The communication and customer service needs improving. Waiting over an hour for food when there was empty tables was a little upsetting. So many ways you can improve customer service when kitchen is lacking service.
Marc Richman: Great place
John and Melissa Marsh: Great place good beers
Morgan: Their tater tots with beer cheese is absolutely delicious, very scrumptious, and you get a generous amount for a basket that costs 5 dollara. I had their Cherry Cider which is good, their peach perfection wine, which is as its name states perfection, it doesn't tastes like wine and is 10.2 percent. I had their Black cherry wine, it tasted a bit more boozy than their peach perfection but it's still super delicious.
William Bartley: They have an amazing selection of craft beers made on-site that will satisfy most any taste in a comfortable and casual setting. And the food is great too! Don't miss this place and be sure to add tater tots to your order!
Jonathan Jarvis: Very good beer, great little place, and Dave was the man!!
A “Avie” V: Good food, good beer, all servers served all tables, they were constantly attentive but not annoying. That was one of the best ways of handling tables I have ever experienced.
Denise Karry: The red head bar tender could have cared less that we were there. She was not freindly at all. We won't be back, it once has a great feel about the place.
Tracy Bennett: The staff is warm and friendly. The beer and wine are delicious. We will definitely be back! 👍🏻
Joe Hakim: The beer is fantastic as is the hospitality. The food is excellent too. This spot is wonderful in every way. They also have a brewing supply store next door. They brew a variety of styles and every beer I’ve sampled has been very good. If you order food, the dill pickle pizza is especially tasty.

Urbanrest Brewing Company: what do users think?
Tyler Rodwancy: Friendly staff, great beer, chill atmosphere, kid friendly, lgbtq friendly. Not sure what more you could ask for in a local brewery.
Kim Khamo: Hello, I see Ecuagenera has a pop up listed here:April 22-23, 2023Michigan Pop UpAddress: Urbanrest Brewing company, 2615 Wolcott St, Ferndale, MI 48220I can't seem to find any information on your social media or website about it though. Are you able to tell me more?
Robert Goodrich: Good brews, nice atmosphere, and the pierogi food truck, even though it was all inside, had good eats too
Julie Sedik: Absolutely amazing!! I just rented out the back room for my husband birthday. The staff was incredibly nice and great service. I didn’t bring anything to decorate because the space was beautiful already. I highly recommend this place! Also the beer and wine was great! THANK YOU Urbanrest!!! The night was incredible!!!!
Michelle David: I hosted a baby shower in their private room, we had a lot more people than expected so we were in the main area as well. The staff that worked this morning was AMAZING. The whole space is a vibe.
Zack Demetrious: Great atmosphere
EternalShinyandChrome: $13 beers that taste intentionally horrible. I must be aging out of the bar crowd. Permanently.
Courtney Lyons: My brother & sister in law had their baby shower here today, this brewery is awesome!! Highly recommend for events or just to hang out, they have a separate room for events. The waitress, bartender and I believe owner were awesome and the waitress was extremely quick (serving 60ppl)!Thank you for making the baby shower so awesome, easy and a huge success. I'll definitely be referring, as well as calling to book parties 🎉
Tez B: Place is okay. Only downfall I see is advertising bottles of wine but come to find out the bottle is to go only. Other than that, the place is okay
Phillip: Wonderful brewery with an amazing staff. Their passion in brewing truly shines with all the incredible beer they make. They hold home brewing competitions periodically to give back to the home brewing community, which is exactly how they started. They also brew kombucha, along with a wine choice or two.Relaxed environment, and a great place. Have some charcuterie options, but there is always a great food truck option! Can’t recommend enough.
John H. Scott: Some of the best brews across the spectrum of beers I have ever tasted from one brewery. GO and see for your self
Lauren Klaus Habsburg: Unusual variety of beer, wine and kombucha selections. Very clean and filled with fun people. Staff kept the tables clean and the folks at the bar were very friendly and accommodating. The "Local Hell lager was light enough for those who prefer a light beer. They did not have any Amber, dark or rich beer and most beers were bitter. We were there with a very large group of people and were served quickly. There was a limited food selection in the restaurant but that day there was a food truck with some South American delicacies.I highly recommend this establishment for a good time.
joe1265: What an awesome place. This is what I look for in a craft brewery - industrial setting with the brewery on site. Open tables in a beer garden layout.I had the Dry-hopped Gumsticker Saison. O.M.G. that beer was incredible. I took a growler home.
joe markovitch: Great beer. Cool having games to play. Great atmosphere. Awesome staff!
Denise W: Fantastic beers and wine! Great staff! Welcoming location and neighborhood! Winning combination!
Erika Fisnar: Great vibe inside. I liked the atmosphere. Good food truck. I'm not a beer/wine person so there wasn't much for me to drink but if that's your thing, it's a nice spot.
E Vaughan: Wonderful selection of well made ales and lagers in a friendly and casual atmosphere. Belly it food truck was also there - great combo!
Stefan Marshall: Fun place, great beer
Philip Deneau: Nice
Dawn Buley: Just a great environment. Great sense of community.
P Park: Very dog friendly brewery with excellent brews and food trucks at times.

Kuhnhenn Brewing Company: what do users think?
Jessica Honig: This is my second or third time here. All have been good. We stopped by this time after finding out thrift stores are closed on Sunday. But the breweries are not! They have huge menu of a variety of beers. I would be scared to hear you didn’t find something to try! They also have wine, mead and some liquors. I did the white cran spritzer and it was like an adult juicy juice! And we tried two fruity beers. Blueberry pancakes (great) and strawberry waffles (also great) and not overly fruity or undrinkable. We got here right as they opened and the ladies were all very nice. I felt bad for breaking down the door right when they opened at 12. But they were great! I highly recommend!
Jon K: The only time we were acknowledged was being told to find our own table. Sat there for half an hour and no one came to us after that.
Paul J. Spear: The service was good and so were the fish & chips!
Tiffany Bogal: Really excited based on the photos/reviews The charcuterie board isn’t offered anymore. Asked the server for the recommendations on food & she suggested the corn beef Ruben. The corn beef Ruben is what I ordered. It was over cooked. I don’t get how you can fail on a Ruben but they did. Had the coleslaw instead of the sauerkraut because I planned on taking half home. Over cooked is an understatement. My cousin ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was mostly just cheese with package guacamole(which I did ask if it was homemade).Sorry, but if you want to provide food put some more effort in. Or remove. Literally arbys has a better Ruben.Appetizers wise - The pretzels with cheese good.Service - horrible. Despite the waitress being like absolutely so nice she disappeared for like 45 minutes to an hour and we had to flag the bartender to get her. I still tipped way over 20%. Even after asking for my sides for a second time for my take out food. Told the cook was cooking the side cheese for the pretzel.I would understand if I was just coming for drinks. But when I asked the waitress for recommendations she didn’t know. It’s a brewery. The bartenders & waitress should be able to assist in the sales of their private labels.Beyond disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend.
Tony Greening: Great place and great people!
Dale Trefelner: I went during October fest and very limited menu, Extremely loud and it took longer then Nirmal to get service. The only food we enjoyed was the Jumbo pretzels.
Renee Harrell: Had a blast playing trivia! Food & Sangria was very good. Definitely be back
Aaron M: I decided to check out Oktoberfest today around 2pm with my mother, uncle and best friend. We all had a great time and were really glad we came before it got super busy. We stayed until 5pm and it was really busy by then.
Christine Barazia: I’ve been here before, and the beer has been amazing. But we just left here quite disappointed. While we understand that there was an event going on, but the hostess informed us after seating us that they only had one server and it might be 20 min until they came and offered to take our drink order. Over 20 min later, the hostess came over and realized we still hadn’t gotten our drinks, so she went to the bar and brought us our lukewarm beers. Nothing more was said. Over an hour later, we went back to the hostess stand to cash out, because we still hadn’t seen a server. Not once was there an apology, or “we will be right with you”. Like I said, we understand there was an event, but having supposedly only one server and being more or less ignored for over an hour while being served lukewarm beer is not acceptable.
Matthew Schang: The young lady that waited on us was awsome. Got the pretzel and it was huge. Beer was great as always
Scott Garrity: Excellent food, great atmosphere and helpfull courteous staff. Will be back again
Troy Kerby: The patty melt was a little dry, but still good! Their apps were good and their chicken. Most of all their beer is great! The Isabelle porter we delicious. The space was clean and it was pretty quiet on a Sunday after so the service was awesome! Only other negative was they were out of their Tag-a-Brew. We'll be back and hopefully it'll be in stock!
Barbara Fernholz: Good beer good wine
Natrada Fisher: Love this place. Stopped in with a friend for lunch. The service is always excellent, the beers and foods are delicious.
Matt Ballard: First time here. They have some very different beers. Very much what I like. Dark, high ABV, but they also have IPA, Sours, Fruit, and many other choices. I got there kind of early on a Tuesday so it was not busy. I sat at the bar so the service was fast. I had a burger and Quack Fries (duck fat fries with garlic and parmesan cheese) and both were delicious.
Anne Marie: EXCELLENT beer selection, food and customer service. 10/10 recommend.
Dougie Detroit: Great beer great food.. its to noisy I can hardly hear my date talking maybe that a good thing
Michael Marcero: I loved every beer I tried! Can't wait to go back!
Edwin Rodriguez: Bar service, beer selection and shareables are outstanding! My wife and I had the Barrel aged eisbock, a Cherry mead, a huge pretzel served with beer cheese and honey mustard (see pic; hand in pic for size comparison), and fried pickles.
Jerry Adams: Large dining area and bar. Very wide selection of beers. A variety of wines. Food menu consist of a few bar type sandwiches and a large selection of appetizers.Clean facility. Staff was courteous and attentive.
Cheryl Sapp: Lots of choices on Tap. The Staff was so Friendly and helpful choosing our beers.
