Kerstin Holster: Not worth the money. I took my vehicle recently to Max’s Auto Spa, i decided to give them a chance despite the mixed reviews. I told them i had items spilled in my vehicle that had a very bad smell. They said they could get it out. Basically they cleaned the carpets and put scent tags all over my vehicle. The smell was still there but mixed in with heavy perfumes. They also did a wipe down of my interior that was poorly done, dirt and grim was crammed into corners of my interior. For $270 this is unacceptable. Although the folks seemed nice this was a waste of money and i could have done the same quality of work on my own.

Ariel Ransom: DO NOT use Max's Auto Spa. They will literally steal your money. Cutting to the chase: Max's Auto Spa commits credit/debit card fraud. I had my car detailed back in September of 2022 for a total of $475. While the service itself was satisfactory, I happened to check my bank account after the service was completed, and noticed there was an additional, unauthorized charge of $400 to my account. I called the shop, but no one answered. I then stopped by the shop in-person, and the office was closed, even though it was during their normal business hours. After several calls, someone answered and said the charge was due to a "system error" and that I would be refunded in 3-5 business days. I waited this amount of time, with no refund. Instead, I noticed another unauthorized charge, this time in the amount of $999. After several more calls and texts to both the business line and the owner's phone, I either received: 1) no answer and no return of my voicemail; 2) the same excuse of a "system error" with no explanation or offering to remedy the issue; 3) the employee or Max hanging up on me. At one point they stated I should call my bank, even though I had already done so and my bank stated that Max's never returned their calls. I also submitted a report to the Better Business Bureau, and they also said no one at Max's ever returned their attempts at contact. Eventually, I received a partial refund of $999, but I never received the unauthorized $400. Reading other Google Reviews, it seems others have had their money stolen as well. I plan to report to the State of Oregon District Attorney's office.Service:Auto detailing

However just like several other recent reviewers, I recently found a $500 charge on my credit card from this company. I haven't used them for at least a year, so it's obviously fraudulent. So I had to file a fraud report with my bank and will be doing a police report and anything else I can do to document this company is a fraudulent company. Leigh McQueen: I came upon Max Auto Spa during a recent shopping trip along Portland's 82nd Avenue corridor. I passed the place after having lunch up the block. My car had just arrived from the East Coast, having spending 3 days in an enclosed auto transporter and desperately needed a little TLC. I setup an appointment at Max Auto Spa for a general washing & waxing and interior wipe-down. I pointed out some minor 'life-in-the-big-city" scuffs and tiny scratches and was confidently assured that they could be dealt with. When I returned later in the day, I was greeted by the sight of my car presented gloriously clean and shiny out in front of the place. My car is less than a year old and was in nearly perfect condition when I brought it in, but now it looks better than the day I took delivery at the dealer. No exaggeration, I am able to compare it with day-of-delivery photos; Max Auto Spa's staff was able to bring out hightlights and detail I hadn't seen before. The deep hue of its blue paint now has even more depth and luminosity. The interior was astonishing and it was supposed to be "just a wipe-down." Amazing!I am already convincing my son and daughter to have their rides done as soon as possible. Maggie Ng: mags auto detailing put a sticky flyer on my vehicle windshield while in a west Bloomfield shopping plaza and it was stuck to my windshield leaving this paper debris on it. I will never bring my business there and to a place that would flyer and solicit business this way. Extremely disappointed that a business establishment would touch my vehicle without permission. I hope they stop this type of marketing practice and find other means to advertise.
