Stacey B: We’ve gone here multiple times and Jay is the best!!! He’s always been honest, fair and fast. Don’t listen to any negative reviews on here. I don’t believe any of them because all of my experiences have been five stars. I have never left a review for them before but after reading some of the negative reviews I felt that I needed to leave my review of all my experiences since they have all been wonderful. Don’t hesitate if you need any work done on your car, have Ron’s auto shop do the work for you and talk to Jay he’s the best !

Faras Maroge: They are great mechanics. These guys fixed a leak in my car and my suspension (on 2 of my cars). They did great work for both cars. These guys get soooo many happy customers in their shop that may/may not leave a review. If you visit you will see the cars. They do the work great AND they finish even before time. Their prices are very good as well. Other mechanics charge you way more. I tried others & they take a long time to fix your car. Great team of mechanics. Just talk to the owner and he will help you with either leaving your car or waiting. Will definitely be back to this shop for more work on my vehicle. I double checked their suspension work and it is flawless. The car drives great. For the leak, I see nothing on my garage floor anymore.
Layshena Horsley: Came here for collision work. I spent $5,700 and when I got my vehicle back my air conditioner isn’t working, my vehicle stalling, etc: for the price I paid I assumed my vehicle would be fixed. I paid for a seat to be put into my car and I was told a week it’s been almost a month and I have no gotten my seat put in. I’ve called several times and was given the run around. I finally called and asked for a refund for the seat. The guy told me he put a deposit on the seat and wasn’t able to give me a full refund. I feel as if the work wasn’t done effectively and although the outer damage was fixed I got my car back with more damage than I originally had. Instead of doing their job effectively and saying “something else is wrong” they gave me my car back now I have to get more fixed on it. I feel as if I was scammed. And the body damage that was fixed wasn’t fixed properly

Ms Gordon: I took my car here because someone highly recommended them. The problem I was having never went away. In fact, they had my car 2 days so called fixed it. I had to take it back because the problem worsen and yes, I acted a fool. When I went back they extended the six month warranty to two years. They rigged my car it’s two years and three months later and I’m having to replace the same parts and the new mechanic says these look like the original parts on my car $2500 later and having to spend more money less than three years. Ironically the new mechanic said he have to fix another Cals rigged right now smh and I got the same story from a stranger at hertz smh Nope I would not recommend this place. Robert Weiss: Skip and his team replaced my alternator and belts a week ago. I thought the job would be expensive but turned out to be in my opinion affordable. I was fortunate they were able to take care of me same day. I'm glad I stopped in a couple days prior and met who I believed to be the Owner and heard his business philosophy. I'm thankful the vehicle is moving again I've had it parked for months unable to make the time to do the repair myself. Also while performing the work they noticed a potential future issue they notified me of that I'm closely monitoring. The quote they provided for the future repair was reasonable since I have first hand experience on the difficulty level.

ken saviko: Took car in for starting issues, got quoted $1600 for serp belt and alternator, was to much $$ for me so brought it home and contacted amechanic friend at work , he gave it the 1nce over , he found the alternator and serp belt just fine . But he did find a loose nut that connects power supply to starter. He tightened and car has been running perfect since. Watch these people......they are either bad mechanics or shady mechanics....

Brown Fish: I came here for for oil change and tire rotation.Overall employee behavior was good.But service quality was poor, I’d say below average. They charged me for full synthetic oil but after two weeks I saw my oil became black and thick, and smells bad.Tire rotation was horrible, when driving my car, it drifts left. I waited for 2 weeks to see if it will become normal but it didn’t, I had to go somewhere to fix it.I would recommend do ⚠️🚫NOT🚫⚠️ go there. Carey C: I can't complain about anything, other than an uninviting waiting room, but I walked to Menards instead of sitting there.I looked into coming here for an oil change, I had free oil changes at the dealership for years, and when they finally dried up, they wanted to charge me $130 for oil change (only semi synthetic) and a tire rotation. I went on the Midas website since there was one near me, and there was a coupon for $49.99 for full synthetic with a tire rotation.I ended up pay $63 including extra oil and disposal fee. No hard up sell on anything like Uncle Eds, which I appreciated whole-heartedly. In and out within an hour!This is my new oil change place!Service:Oil change

Alex Sobotka: Been searching around the warren area for a good, honest, reliable mechanic for a few years and was hesitant because have run in to some shady ones, skinny’s diagnosed the issue with my 2002 suburban without throwing the parts cannon at it and resolved the poor running condition of my truck and repaired it for a fair price and with nice looking welds. I will be taking all my cars and trucks to skinny’s from now on, thank you skinny’s, my $2000 suburban runs like a 10,000$ suburban now.

Margaret Goethe: Rude, inept, unprofessional. Went there to have a Lifesafer breathalyzer installed. After 2 attempts they could not make it function properly and kept overcharging me. I lost $300 and had to go to Smartstart. They got it right immediately. I was yelled at by the owner Jason on the phone and in person and hung up on. This is no way to run a business. Very bad experience.

Schwartz: SHORT REVIEW: Skinny's is great go there to get your car repaired if it needs it!!LONG REVIEW: My water pump went out on my 2014 Lincoln MKS...and it has the Ford 3.7L with the internal water pump driven by my timing chain. Jason and the guys got me in right away...did the work and had my car back to me in less than a week! Also recommended replacing the spark plugs and a few other items while the engine was apart to extend the longevity of my engine since I had 190k miles already. Also took care of an exhaust repair that was causing a check engine light. My car is running better than when I bought it from the dealership 140k miles ago!! Great price, great people, great work!
