Lyndsay Green: My previous acupuncture experience was incomparable to my experience at Kang’s Family Acupuncture. In the past a combination of acupuncture, herbal teas and tinctures, foot baths, and other rituals seemed to somewhat help with the symptoms that I was experiencing. But at Kang’s, my symptoms saw dramatic improvement simply with Dr. Kang’s acupuncture services. I once had lower back pain that had been aching for days and while lying on the table in Dr. Kang’s office, I immediately felt relief. A 3-day migraine dissipated midway through one session, and discomfort in my knee was relieved on the spot. On top of the effectiveness of Dr. Kang‘s treatments, the office’s family-run environment is so charming. Grace is so welcoming and friendly, it’s as though she’s a mother to all who visit Kang’s Family Acupuncture, and her gua sha treatments have helped ease the tension in my shoulders. Jeff Helton: Gave me a horrible migraine that never went away and destroyed my life, i have to take daily migraine pills now to function... they need to be warning people how dangerous the acupuncture can be and what to avoid after sessions. Can't take inhalers, herbal supplements, energy drinks, alcohol or any kind of stimulant should be avoided. They are nice people and acupuncture feels great/works if you know what to avoid afterwards. Beware though they don't care about your health and are after money. Don't think i will ever be returning sorry kang family.

I decided to try acupuncture at the recommendation of a hand specialist, after a year and a half of trying to find some relief for my chronic tendonitis in my hands. I am glad that I did. The approach is holistic, not looking at just one area of the body, but treating the whole body for the maximum benefit. Everyone at the clinic is a blessing. They are kind and very good at assessing the root cause of the pain. Everyone should try acupuncture!

But i needed to find relief for my lower back pain, Trigeminal neuralgia, as well as respite from my migraines. I CANNOT recommend Kangs family accupuncture enough. If I could give them 10 stars? I would.To start with, Grace (the wife, receptionist, and all around amazing human being) is a skilled Gua Sha practioner and has helped my SERIOUSLY over-tightened muscles relax, repair, and feel like I can move & function again. I've experienced petechiae from the treatment, but the benefits I've experienced from it far out weight the fact that I have some red marks on my skin for a day.Next: Dr. Kang is... out of this world. He was able to identify several issues I was having that I never even put down on my intake list, and was quick to start my treatment for myself as a whole BEING. I don't know exactly how it works? But it's working! He's careful, precise, and so knowledgeable! It's simply astonishing.If you're looking to try accupuncture, to see if it maybe works for you? I WHOLLY recommend coming here. It's a game changer. If you think about how much you pay for treatments for your ailments, individually? To feel like you're finally beginning to heal without all those pills? To me, it's sooo worth coming to see Dr. Kang.

I was totay displeased with medical doctors who kept saying there was nothing they could so so I thought I'd try acupuncture. It's working beautifully. The only downfalls are the price and the limited after 5pm availability for appointments. It was difficult to make appointments around my 8-5 work schedule.

lyutsin21: The main reasons I shop at the Asian stores are to buy fish, unusual varieties or rice, and sometimes unusual grain-like stuff like sorghum. I bought what I think was a black pomfret here a week ago, it might have been the most blatantly delicious fish I have ever eaten. If I see produce or other appealing items at a good price I may buy them too - I once bought a pink dragonfruit here for an excellent price of 2.99 a pound. I have shopped at 168 Asian mart too. 168 has a bigger selection of fish, but the extra varieties cost more than I am willing to pay. Both stores have pomfrets, the other fish varieties vary randomly. The meat and produce selection at Chinatown market are much smaller than 168, but again the extra items at 168 cost more than I am willing to pay. The rice and unusual grain selection here looks adequate and about equal to 168 but some items were higher priced than I remember at 168, unless 168 also raised their prices, i haven't been to 168 for over 3 months, I have bought fish here once a week on average for the last 3 months or more. And I remember waiting 20 or more minutes to check out at 168, while I have never waited more than 2 minutes to check out at Chinatown market. Just bring cash here because they only let you use debit or credit if you spend over $10.
