Nuha Alhamdi: It is always the little hole in the wall locations that have the best chocolates. There are trays and a wide collection of chocolates and sweets. The owner speaks only Arabic but we tried our best. If you don't speak Arabic and want to visit maybe bring an app or a friend.
Maureen Stanton: Stopped in here tonight looking for some chocolates to give as thank you gifts and was totally impressed. The chocolate selection is wonderful and they are wrapped beautifully. Hollie Rebo: My boyfriend ordered a chocolate basket to be delivered to my work (for Valentine's day). I'd never heard of the company/business but the basket was FANTASTIC! The owners worked with him personally (via phone) to complete the basket and one of the owners personally delivered it. And the TASTE of the chocolate is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I don't have much experience with Lebanese chocolate but I loved how each piece was so unique and different--I literally wanted to eat the whole basket in one sitting! I can't wait to stop in and buy more!A very big THANK YOU to the owners for helping make my boyfriend's surprise so perfect!-H

For many years Shatila used to be the go to place for Lebanese pastries and to some extent, it still is; however, when it comes to the "Knefe" in particular, Lebon Sweets tops every other place in the Metro Detroit. It is actually on par with the best places back home, which is almost an impossibility simply because even if the skills are matched, the ingredients cannot be. The pastry selection is not extensive, but there is a decent selection. The bakery items used to be amazing, but throughout the years I've noticed that the quality varies. It is still good, but not the best around.
