Kristie Lee: I'm giving this 5 stars for exactly what it is. One of the best dive bars in town with a good crowd that feels like family. I've had some great nights singing my heart out here and I'm not alone. My favorite menu items are the garlic parmesan chicken wings and the cheesy bread with ranch and marinara. The portions are huge and the drinks are strong. Come prepare to have a good time!

Danielle Wisneski: Fire the manager who is a Michigan University fan. We ordered food at 1230. Wings & nachos. It’s 140. We still have no food. BUT the manager got his wings and is eating behind the bar in front of us. Trash. Absolute trash management. Fire him immediately. And if he’s the owner? I hope this place closes.

Jayce: Really nice place to hang out with a few friends. Have some drinks. And watch sports as well on there many TV's. In the back, they have a pinball machine, darts, pool table, and a video machine. Very clean and friendly! Bathrooms are kept clean and stocked. There is also a guy pretty high up in the Pistons organization that hangs out there.

KRISSY: After waiting a week to decide if I wanted to review or not, I've found myself still pretty upset with this experience. I waited an hour FOR CHIPS AND SALSA. My couple of friends and I waited at least a good half hour for drinks as well. I literally could've ran next door to Oak Ridge and came back with my own chips and salsa in less than 10 minutes. The only thing that seemed decent were the prices at this place. Our waitress didn't tell us how low staffed she was or what the wait times were like either. You never expect to wait that long on a super simple appetizer/drinks. I would never go there again.
Pat Canestrelli: Went there on a whim and I'm glad we did. The pizza was amazing and we were lucky enough to show up on a Wednesday when they had trivia night. I liked that the place was clean and the prices were spot on.If you have an opportunity, give this place a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Carl M. Walker: My second time visiting. Whenever I travel to Detroit, ESPECIALLY on Tuesdays or Thursdays (live entertainment nights) I attempt to get to Mr. Paul's Chop House. The frog legs are to die for. The story behind this establishment is rich in family history and they can be seen out on the floor constantly checking on their customers, taking the time to talk WITH you not at you. If you want GREAT FOOD, GREAT ATMOSPHERE, a GREAT GO TO FAMILY OWNED restaurant with caring, attentive employees, place Mr. Paul's Chop House on the top of your list.

Sal Wilcox: April 21, 2023. I lunched with my 91-year-old mother and big sister. I ordered the crab legs, which were amazing. Mom ordered the jumbo shrimp, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My sister ordered the pork chop. She only took a few bites. Carol was our waitress. However I wondered if we would have ordered the lamb shank that was the lunch special which we only found out about when Carol offered the specials to the tables around us. I can't help but wonder if it was because we were brown and female and they were white and male? Besides that, lunch was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, but my thoughts go back to why didn't Carol offer us the lunch special, perhaps we would have preferred the lamb shank.Parking: Parking was conveniently located
