Ross Barnett: Nice community in North Warren. Bear Creek is tucked away off 13 mile and has long been a desirable location to live. Clubhouse and pool are very nice. The Board of Directors is involved in the community and tries whenever possible to promote community interaction. Many people are complaining on here about the management company but that has nothing to do with the community itself. People would do well to direct those statements to the appropriate business. All Condo associations have rules and a board. Those rules should be looked at before purchasing property in the community. Adhering to those rules is the responsibility of the owner. This isn't new... take complaints with a grain of salt as you often don't get the full story.

L Morin: UPDATE: This place is still the worst. The association is insane. They try to micromanage every aspect of your property, to invasive levels. The worst part is they are incredibly inconsistent with enforcing their ridiculous rules, and often times single people out.

Rascal05: Management company is unreasonable. They site you for damages their contractors have done. The response time for repairs is poor at best. When they do respond, they tell you it is your responsibility. I plan on becoming more involved in order to put an end to the MANY, MANY complaints by fellow owners.

Bechara Damouni: I went to visit a friend. I was shocked how the snow was not cleared off the sidewalk and building entrances. It was two days after the storm. It was fine not to clear the roads inside but at least you need to keep sidewalks and building entrances clear. I hope someone from their office can read this. It was icy and slippery and was very dangerous. What a shame!

Bill Fisher Google guide level seven: My wife is a realtor with the wrong real estate business I went with her to show a client one of the condos there and right off the bat I noticed this place was really clean and taking care of I was kind of expecting just the opposite I've been in this business for 30 years usually when I think it's going to be bad it is bad but this place was really nice and the condo she had showing the client was beautiful I had a washer and dryer downstairs in the storage all in all it was a nice place

Alek B: No regrets so far, staff was attentive and polite, no issues the entire 10 months from signing the contract to closing to moving in. Teresa and Nino were great, five stars. Wish I could have just copy pasted Nino to my mother's construction site for her home (that's been a 2 year nightmare). HOA is pricey, wish garbage bins were included instead of having to order them? Biggest complaint is wishing my mailbox was at my front doorstep instead of in a localized spot. Home itself is gorgeous, get compliments from both friends, coworkers, family, and contractors alike and I'm incredibly happy with it. Felt like I pushed the Easy button.

Dorise Price: MJC is the builder who are in the business to profit not the problem. They get your money then tell you “oh that’s normal” lies. In the model there is a sound barrier or wall where the units attach. However, that is not the case for the units they are building I can hear my neighbor in the master bedroom when vacuuming, watching tv, snoring etc. MJC is aware and is doing nothing about it. There are several homeowners with this problem. There site manager NINO said he’s in the business to build not to take direction from the people. I asked for a master bath, then weeks later was told that I could not have a master bath because it wasn’t in the plan of the original buyer and the supplies were already purchased. I also asked for a bay window only to be told no. Keep in mind that only the foundation was complete at the time. My cabinets are peeling and the molding is gaping, I have complained about this for almost a year and they come out and do patch work or say that it’s normal. They use caulk for everything. My frame is off so my walls and ceiling are cracking and the floors are not leveled, but guess what MJC said it’s normal. Before you make a decision you should talk to some of the home owners whom purchased with in the last year.Cassabella is the HOA management company. At a glance it’s well kept. Yes the model is maintained, take a look up the street. There are weeds growing every where, street lamps out, pot holes, dirt hills which may attract rodents, empty lots with weeds as high as the hydrants. I went the whole summer without a working sprinkler system. Cassabella HOA fee is $250 and they will not come out and investigate properly. They ask the home owners to take pictures of the problem and send them in. The trash pick up is inconsistent, trash will sit out most of the day sometimes 2 days. On windy and rainy days will blow or float up the street.
