Naomi Sutalo: Don’t even make an appointment here. I made one the beginning of July and when I called to confirm my appointment they were really rude and told me that the doctor was not in today. They didn’t bother calling me the day before to tell me that (which you are supposed to get a call the day before as a reminder) They even hung up on me when I asked why they didn’t bother to call me after they said that is someone else’s job to call you on that.

Lucy Booza: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lindsay took the time to give me a comparison breakdown of the costs and helped me pick out frames for my glasses. I was able to schedule my appointment easily and quickly.

David Diola: My fiancee and I had the greatest eye doctor visit ever, everyone one of the staff was great and treated us like family (in a good way). We we're really happy with the whole experience. And may just come back just to visit.

Josh Davis: Not worth the hassle somehow they pulled up two insurance plans for me due to someone else having the same name and birthdate. They applied them both to the total of the glasses only to realize they made a mistake. I had called to check on if the glasses came in and that is when I was told my bill had increased due to their mistake this is also when I first became aware of the mistake. They did not proactively call me to inform me of the mistake. I was told they would try to see if they can make it right by calling their billing department and would call back by end of day. I never received a call. I called and cancelled the order. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. They have poor customer service and I cannot recommend them. The doctor herself was good but support staff not so much.
Chris Van Mill: I wanted to pass along my sincere thanks to Dr. Williams and Lyndsay at Normandy Optical in Warren. Both Dr. Williams and Lyndsay were professional and patient with me. I had picked out a pair of glasses and once delivered, I immediately had questioned my choice. The glasses were just too heavy on my nose. Lyndsay worked with me, and a new pair was delivered in less than two weeks. It is very rare to find such wonderful customer service. I highly recommend Normandy Optical.

Luke Goocheye: Buyer beware. The eye ware is as shoddy as can be. They cannot size your frames correctly and will not help if you dare ask a question or challenge them in any way. The doctor is too young to work alone and only hides if there is a problem.I also tried to work with Lindsay, she stated she would return my call and never did.Avoid at all costs.
Jonathan Shamoun: Came to west Bloomfield location and dealt with Lindsay the manager. I have never been more disrespected by her and kept repeating that I am asking to commit insurance fraud. She was nasty to deal with from the moment I walked in there. I didn’t end up getting any of my benefits used and got nothing accomplished expect for them taking my money for the eye exam and being RACIALLY PROFILED! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. NASTY ATTITUDE AND NO HELP. Lindsay did not bother to look at my insurance plan and was basically useless. EVERYONE STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

Hailey Judd: I’ve been going here my whole life and I am very sad to now have to find a new optometrist. My family saw the previous doctor, Dr. Paul, from the 1970s till his retirement. We had a great initial relationship with Dr. Ellie when she took over but have now all left for other doctors. I will no longer be a patient of Dr. Ellie's after her condescending behavior towards my DISABLED GRANDPARENTS and outrageously high prices. My family had to pay over $1,000 out of pocket with 3 VALID EYE INSURANCES on file, which is overly excessive for an office in South Warren, where the vast majority of locals are either below the poverty line or just above it. Stop trying to gentrify us, just because you had access to higher education doesn't make it okay to talk down to people who did not. This was previously a 5 star review and I will remain firm on my 1 star review no matter the response I receive from this office in an attempt to “smooth things over.”Sincerely,Hailey Judd: an 8-mile Warren native and a now MSU Law student who uses her education to help people in need, not abuse them financially or emotionally.
Jim Allard: This was my first time at Warren Optometric Clinic. I thought Dr. Ellie did a good job with the eye exam, and she answered all of my questions. I needed to pick out glasses after the exam with the office staff. That didn't go as well. I was given a price of $1,195, which included the exam fee. When I started to ask about the cost and if there were any other options, I was not given any other options. I was the last patient of the evening and I felt like I was being rushed out the door. Staff should take the time to go over different price options, especially since I was a new patient.

When they reviewed her glasses prescription they noticed it was missing a key element of her past pairs. They took the time to call the eye doctor and confirmed the prescription was indeed incorrect (missing the element in question).They recommended an amazing pair of frames that were lighter and so much better than her old pair.When we picked up the glasses, they took the time to fit them correctly. They suggested some yellow lenses for night driving.It's rare that you find a company that truly is customer focused.If you are the need of glasses, visit Twinsite Optical.

But to me it's false advertisement. I was told my vision hadn't really changed but they tried to get me to purchase glasses at a ridiculous price.Went to the Centerline location, will not be returning.

When I returned for my yearly appointment Justice and Thomas really went out of there way to help me select the glasses that would fit. I needed to have them give me cost estimates with different scenarios as I needed to get my glasses and contacts. They were so patient with me and really were so kind to me and my family. I really enjoyed my experience and will be returning next year. If you go there know that both Justice and Thomas will take good care of you. Thank you both. I love my glasses and had a wonderful new years with the contacts. I truly appreciate your kindness and genuine helpfulness. You both are the reason why I will be a returning customer.
Charles Smith: Went for an eye exam, waited 1 1/2 weeks and they only had 1 pair of my glasses. Went back two weeks later, I waited 30 minutes and had to walk out because nobody even attempted to help me out. I still haven’t gotten a call for my glasses to be picked up. So I paid for only 1 pair of glasses. The customer service at this location sucks!!! The young lady at the counter should be fired; all she does is stay on her phone and ignore the fact that customers need assistance. Would not recommend this location!!!!!
Janelle Jean-Baptiste: I scheduled a last minute appointment here online and I was able to fit it right in my schedule. When I walked in I was greeted by Mina who right away helped me with paperwork and helped me get settled. I was seen almost right away and was probably picking out glasses 10 minutes later. Justice helped me choose the right glasses because whew, idk how but she knew which ones would look best on me. She’s very knowledgeable I wish she’d come with me every time I picked out glasses. She thought of things I didn’t even think of. Thomas helped me check out and figure out what plan was best for me as I live a very busy life and have problems breaking glasses 😅 he also set me up with some trial contacts with my favorite color contact cases (small detail but just showed he cared) I don’t usually write reviews but I was very very pleased with the service I got here as I came from a bad store in texas once. Thanks Thomas, Justice, Mina and the entire team there. Very effortless visit :)

T Moor: Very disappointed in the Center Line location 7549 E 10 mile, Center Line Mi. Front End Process is ridiculous. I had already had pre screen testing. And had already seen optometrist, I wanted a additional 30 minutes before front end called me to the front. I ONLY NEEDED a written r/x. I’m a contact wearer. I didn’t need any glasses. I shouldn’t have to drive to another location to receive BETTER customer care service . I will NOT BE RETURNING. BBB listing is a D rating.12/10/22

Katrina Cupps: Thank you America's Best! We came in as a family of 3 with some unique vision issues. Everyone here was very helpful, patient & understanding. They took the time to explain everything very well & worked with us for specific types of lenses on a budget! The doctor who did the exam was amazing and the girls up front did a great job of helping us choose the right frames and lenses. Cat did a really awesome job of helping us and explaining the process to a trainee. Everyone working was very professional and we will definitely only be coming to see you guys from now on!
Jessee Damesworth: Had a wonderful experience today at the America's best on 10 mile in center line MI. Every employee that we talked to today was very helpful and nice. I took my daughter and girlfriend with a budget and we were all able to walk out with 2 pairs for less then $500. I would like to specifically thank Cat for having the most patience and just all around being helpful, all while training a new employee. I would recommend this location to anyone if they are looking for an eye exam and new glasses. Best eye appointment experience I have had, hands down.
