Sierra Mays: Even though i went in to pay for a ticket i was in a good mood, at least that was until i walked in the doors of the 37th district court. Their employees at this court are very rude, unwelcoming and act as if they hate their job. I walked up to the window and greeted the clerk by saying “Hello , how are you ?” She replied how can I help you with a very annoyed face. Before that as I was walking in the officer who stands at the door was so wrapped up in his FaceTime call in the office I stood at the metal detector waiting for him to come do his job. Last but certainly not least the judge has the same personality / characteristics as the clerks. The way he talked and the different body gestures displayed as if he was very uninterested in the case and even talked to me as if I were a child . It is very rare that I write reviews about my service experience but I felt as if this one was needed . Yes , I understand it is a court house and I broke a law , however at the end of the day we are still paying customers and making your paychecks possible .

New Start Law Group: Keela Johnson, Warner Norcross and Judd and Julie McDonald have racket, system, they cover for each other. The GAL, Keela Johnson, has so many job titles to make all this stuff disappear. Remember our tax dollars pay the salaries of all these Judges and their staff to hurt the innocent children of Oakland County.The GAL has so many conflicts. Don't worry Judge Julie McDonald Covered this up for her team also. We filed Motions. We are appealing the Chief Judge will cover for them also. We are taking this to highest court.They send people to jail if they cannot "borrow money" over 20 thousand dollars NO PROOF. This is the new Oakland County. Will post all that in morning and keep adding as I find them. Showing how our Judges Treat citizens.I am second generation attorney I want to vomit.Wake up Oakland County

Mike R: I’m going through a divorce and they refused to give me a copy of my paperwork unless I paid for them. The paperwork has already been filed with them and I’m supposed to get a copy of the complaint form stating whether if I’m being sued for any money or belongings by my wife. I’m supposed to get a copy period without having to pay from what my attorney told me. Good way of screwing people over on their case.

Kiara Plump: When I had Karen McDonald on my case, she was wonderful and held my ex accountable for not co-parenting. My new judge is Gant, and I’ve had a horrible experience. Not only did her chambers lose paperwork but they accused me of not properly filing paperwork even though I had proof I completed and filed with court clerk. I was belittled, shut down and told I didn’t know what I was talking about. Not to mention, the opposing party lawyer was lying on record and failing to send documents in timely manner. She also failed to serve me summons and once I told this court and chambers about it, they DID NOTHING. I remember voting Gant in office but wishfully regret giving her my vote. The judge literally favors the other party in the case. I have never seen a judge allow an individual to waste the court’s time and Resources. I think she knows the other party family or personally him.
Todd: As far as Courthouses go, this one is nice. Unless you are there for all the wrong reasons. You will usually find helpful staff, easy to get around for the most part, and extremely clean. Also, their cafe is actually quite good.

Riley Beckemeyer: my brother recently wrote a review about his horrible experience with the courts and their unfair ppo ruling. They took his review down probably because they dont want to be exposed on how unlawful and injustice they are. He even posted screen shots showing how the petitioner had contacted him over and over again which proved that her life did not feel threatened having contact with my brother. My brother could not send his screen shots to the courts cause they kept rejecting it.I guess in oakland county your not allowed to present your evidence, or state your side of the story when fighting a ppo! I know my brother wouldn ever hurt anyone but oakland county made him look like a criminal. I can't believe that this place is allowed to exist.
Tim Simmons: I have always wondered how Oakland County judge's can constantly violate the 8th and 14 the amendment of the Constitution and not be held accountable.
David Wong: The mall cop security guard with the southern drawl is a real piece of work. All I needed to do was figure out where to drop off an important document and when I asked him where to go he just laughed in my face. To be expected though given the level of education required of Oakland County sheriffs.
Emily V: Horrible. Rude. Condescending male referee and judge. Bias toward deadbeat dads if you can believe that. Complicated filing process with no guidance. Burden on the responsible parent to prove fault and apparently anything goes and actual laws no longer apply.

So sad it is disturbing...maybe if this bad man robbed his daughter he might feel differently. The opposing councel was drunk at court... he was drinking at Texas Bar in Detroit....but it is legally ok to be a drunk lawyer.
Shantell Holloway: Beth Kersner was a night mare to work with. She didn't want to help explain anything she said get a lawyer. First time dealing with a court system and this is what I deal with. She was so mean to not understanding of anything didn't want to transfer the call to anyone who could help. Literally argued back and forth with me like I was going against her, and I only wanted to get an understanding 😞 she took it like I was being a smart aleck. First time going through this family support division and any kind of court and this has been what feels like a never ending storm. I needed to be transferred back to Kelli so she could send me the waiver form I needed, but Beth Kersner wouldn't transfer the call. Told me I can't speak to a judge ( didn't need to, he made his order yesterday and it stands). I'm upset that I was bullied by Beth 🤡 Kersner in a phone call that should've monitored for quality assurance cause the way she went back and forth one minute and then dismissive the next.. only to hang up in my face is what iced the cake. I immediately came to Google to let y'all know. If you're a Minority expect unfair treatment, and Always Stand Up for Yourself and Your Rights,. GET CLARITY OF YOU NEED TO. You will Prevail in the end! Thank you for being kind and understanding Kelly and to Beth, I hope your supervisor can teach you corrective action when it comes to being able to deescalate your calls and teach you how to be more empathetic.
Tee Cal: Was in court today,I witnessed judge Oster, in action.. he is far by the most bias person to suppose to be a judge. It’s sad how unfair Macomb county justice system is towards minorities. The prosecutor is the same way for minorities. If I could of video all the cases that went before this black senior citizen, he was so understanding and gentle with his kind of people. Made the one black person in the court wait for hours , when they court was at 10am. once it was they turn , the hate just came out of him. The cases before him , with his kinda of people, the charges alone , she of gave him and the prosecutor fairness, but here it is the one black person, with no arrest records, not a felon, he wanna threaten to give her probation or a 4 year felony for protecting herself for a way younger person that was the aggressor, but no one was harm but her property was vandalized by the so called victim .This is and senior citizens, who had her grandkids with her at the time. Wonderful mom, sister , grandmother and all of the above. But it was a man in there that beat his girlfriend dog , walk away with no charges, no probation, just some fees. This unfairness against us is so wrong on so many levels. One day they will no how it feels to be treated in this manner.. sad do better you too old to be acting in this manner. Grow up… straight up abuse of power against minorities!!! FACTS!!!!!!

Frank Rizzo: Judge yokich is biased against any male in there . If you sit in the court room and watch how she talks it is horrible. Talks down to every male in there does not listen cuts people off after she asks them a questions them reprimands them for it. Major attitude problem. If you have her I feel sorry for you . Try to leave the state the country. I am getting the court transcript and filling a complaint with the state also talking to a lawyer to see if there is any other options . she should not be a judge anywere of anything. If you get a case with her make sure you have a female lawyer to help you.

I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but regardless she shouldn't be catching an attitude with customers. DJ M: Hopefully you don’t get pulled for your “civic duty” of jury duty because you have to pay $1 an hour for the parking structure that sounds paid for on the summons but isn’t. Or you can pay at the meters for roughly the same cost. Luckily they have change machines for all jurors! How thoughtful. Don’t forget to collect your $15 payment for half the day or $30 for the full day. Minus parking of course. What a joke

Dylan McCain: My wife was summoned to jury duty and in the first 10min after passing through the security checkpoint the security guard noticed she has pepper spray on her keys. She is a delivery driver and travels to the center of detroit so I had bought her some for self defense. The security guard has the most god aweful attitude towards her and tells her to take it off 4 times in 4 seconds and refuses to touch the keys then proceeded to tell her "Im no responsible if these get lost". Disgusting and unprofessional for a court house.

Deashia Johnson: Everything at this place is so unorganized, and the staff is unprofessional. No one answers the phone so I drove an hour there to find out the building is closed. When trying to get help filing paperwork as instructed, I’m constantly given misinformation and told everything is an additional fee. The staff (especially Nikki) is rude. Trying to get anything accomplished here is a waste of time.
