zartosht06: Jim Browning tracked down the Indian scammers who were about to rob a poor woman from thousands of dollars, called the Warren police department and asked to help her, and police did absolutely nothing. Kyle Shriver: Your dispatch allowed for an elderly lady to get scammed by Indian scammers for 12000 via the Bitcoin machine at 4011 East 9 mile street. Very sad. If it’s not swatting, maybe believe those who call. Not all those in need can help themselves, and now you will only have a report you can do nothing with to help after it’s gone.
Sara S: Had an encounter last fall (2021) with two African American officers who left bruises and took me in for a psych evil against my wishes and their better judgement. Not only was I manhandled, but I made a report to a higher up and nothing came of it and my property is still missing. If I could rate lower I would.
Bridget Gr: There is a dog that is on Republic street that is in a cage on the front porch and it can't even stand up...it is left out there all day and night in the heat with no shade...warren police have been called numerous times and they do nothing....shame on you police....I used to trust and respect the police but after many attempts for them to do something about this and them turning their backs on that poor dog I have no respect for you....

Zackary Colzin: Called dispatch because of an INSANE driver all over ten mile and as I was transferred to warren PD it just rang & rang & rang & rang & the guy pulled a gun on my girlfriend & I & no one continued to answer as he chased us trying to hit us & other drivers. How pathetic.

I was having an medical emergency that was proven to him and the officer rolled his eyes like a child and still held me up from rushing to the hospital….. D-Mac Johnson: I wish I could put a 0 but I guess a one is fine because I went to make a statement one day after a incident. The officer files the complaint, and then totally flips out on me because he said ANOTHER officer is already on that case... That news was obviously a surprise to me seeing as the officer who he said was on my case never contacted me at all. However it was one officer in there who seemed like he wanted to help at the time... He just didn’t. This department is the reason people rather not call the police anymore. Ashamed that my tax money keeps this place running. The people deserve better than what they put out. I’m going to put in a application. I’ll fight for my community since no one here will. The people deserve better
David K.: I don't think they respond to citizens complaints. The same truck parked on the sidewalk every day and no ticket. Someone will get hurt in an accident. I guess they don't care.
Steven McClure: Had to edit this review because of a resource officer. A principal at one of the Warren schools recently told me that the resource officer will issue tickets 99.9% of the time. That tells me he disregards any facts or evidence and issues tickets regardless. He issued my child a ticket and ignored all facts and statements. I generally have great respect for law enforcement. I think when they have been in one position too long they become jaded and are then ineffective. I have had positive interactions with Warren police officers. My elderly neighbors were not home and their alarm started going off. Called the non emergency line on a really busy night. Within a few minutes a cruiser was there and they made sure the house was safe before the elderly couple went in. Very pleased with the response.

Some are good, specifically detective Bankowski.Thank you for all your help, you did so much for me and your city. Also my car was illegally searched twice in 10 years. Got an open intox for a small moldy wine bottle in my trunk. Got down to impeding traffic I hired a lawyer also due to the lie I ran a red light and almost hit another car (not true at all).
G8 Lante: My car was broke down on MacArthur blvd just north of 8 mile! A Warren police officer pulled up inspected the car for me, determined the problem and pushed my car back home! That was an awesome officer and I definitely appreciated it. There are ton of great cops in this world and they should be respected as such regardless of the situation. And he saved me 60 bucks.
unknownTaj Vwj: When reporting my car accident, I was treated less friendly compared to the guilty victim. I felt like there was racism going on because I was being more pressured on with questions, and the person who hit me was being comforted. This accident happened by a lady who decides to back out of a parking lot, and back into the driveway in reverse when I was right behind her. The parking lot was big enough to make u turns, and there was an exit but she decided to make a dumb move and reversed backward from the entrance. I'm left with scratch marks on my car, and she got away with it easily.
tess. oh: Should be ZERO stars. The YT video of a public photographer dealing with these buffoons in blue says it all. Nine cars & over ten "law enforcement" personnel responded in under 9 minutes. Excessive force, abuse of authority, misuse of tax dollars & resources. It appears all you need to qualify as a LEO in Warren, MI is a two digit IQ & a propensity to be a POWER JUNKIE. Repugnant.
Christopher David: My encounters with any Warren P.O when it comes to traffic violations has been extremely rude and condescending. I wish for better. I’m starting to lose respect for the Warren P.D.

Ro Jo: I've lived in Warren for years, (moved elsewhere and come back )with no problems, because I was raised to get up, go to work, let idiots go by you, go home, respect your neighbor as you want to be treated, respect authority (as they look to protect you), and life will be better, not perfect, but better! I've Met a few Warren cops over the years and they were all professional and nice as I was nice! My dad was a disciplinary person who actually raised me! Today people are way too weak, selfish, and entitled!
