It took the doctor 5 seconds to pull out my one wisdom tooth. Painless. Then he did the other wisdom tooth. I didn't feel anything. I'm so relieved. It was easy. I'm still not in any pain.

Taylor Bourgeois: I had a really good visit here at Emergency Dental Detroit. As someone who gets anxious when going to the dentist, you can imagine how I felt coming in for an emergency visit. I ended up needing a root canal and the staff was really kind in explaining the process. I'm not gonna lie, we all hate coming to these types of places because they feel uncomfortable but the people here made me feel welcome and comfortable like they've known me for years. Sara Sakowski: My experience was beyond frustrating and disappointing. I requested an emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. Having already told the hygienist that was my reason for visiting, she continue to take X-rays while pressing on said tooth and then keenly observed after the X-rays that I had a chipped tooth and tried to proudly point out that fact as though it was new information. The dentist spent maybe two minutes total with me. After which they attempted to quote me for a cleaning, fillings and several other unnecessary procedures while neglecting the reason I came in. I ended up leaving in more pain and discomfort than when I arrived without any solution. On a good note, the receptionist, who was the scapegoat for the cowardly dentist who would not talk to me directly, was quite kind and helpful. Overall, 0/10.

B. HicksEsthetics: Dr. Kashif Naqui was by far the MOST RUDE dentist I’ve even encountered! I’ve been coming to Mcdc Warren for years and have never had an issue. Both times I’ve seen him, he had been rude and made me very uncomfortable. Today at my appointment he basically dismissed me from the chair without service. He confused me on the work that was planned to do today, then got upset because he continued to ask me what filings I wanted to do, when we already knew what work was to be done today. Why is the professional asking the patient what THEY want to do? Horrible experience with him. The other staff was amazing and made me feel comfortable. Do NOT see kashif. 0/10

Rad Mom: I had my first visit today finally, I have adult Medicaid and this is one of the only dentists I could find that accepts Medicaid! It is a wait to get in, but it is worth it. They did a fantastic job on my teeth cleaning. Very clean and professional, and seems to really care.

CJAC GAMING: Walk in and got service within 10 minutes. Staff were very friendly. I have severe social anxiety, but they all made me feel very comfortable. I had a emergency tooth extraction done. X-Ray machine was top notch, quick and it was painless. No support beams shoved into your mouth like other Dentist Offices do. The doctor who extracted my tooth was very professional, and humorous at the same time. He made me laugh, while also making me feel comfortable at the same time. In total, my X-Rays, numbing and extraction took about a hour total! The shots in my mouth were nearly painless. It cost $225 flat for x-rays, numbing, consolation and extraction. Very affordable price. Was sent home with gauze, antibiotics, and pain medication! I would highly recommend to anyone in the Metro Detroit area. I was told by my current dentist that I would need to see a oral surgeon to get this tooth extracted, but the Dr. at Super Teeth was able to extract it, saving me a trip! Thank you!

I am now 27 years old and the main reason I will be a lifetime client to Redwood Dental in Warren is because of these three people. Dr. Schmitz, Lynn and Stella. I was there for around an hour and a half today and it felt like only 20 minutes. Dr. Schmitz and Lynn did an outstanding job on my teeth. There were points were I forgot I was at the dentist having work done on my teeth because of how skilled they are at their profession. Not only did they do a great job on my teeth, they acted like I was a friend. We had small conversations throughout and a few laughs. The icing on the cake though is when you walk out to pay and you are greeted by Stella. Stella has a great personality and is fun to talk to. She will explain everything in depth to you so you know exactly what you are paying for and why. If you are looking for a new dentist or are currently going to Redwood dental in Warren, request Dr. Schmitz, Lynn and Stella and you wont be disappointed.

I went back recently to have my teeth cleaned which is 100% covered by my insurance. They told me I was there for a gingivitis cleaning? Which was confusing as the dentist who did my root canal said my gums were healthy. They wanted me to pay $70 for a cleaning. I got up and left before any services were performed. There was 0 transparency about this when I scheduled my appointment for a ROUTINE cleaning. The doctor was nice but, this place is money hungry and deceitful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I called and got in right away the staff is so nice and my dentist made me feel comfortable. Also they truly care about helping you get what you need done and a way to pay for it. I never felt like I was paying for something I didn’t need at previous offices. I also am happy to report I felt so comfortable it’s the first time in my adult life I haven’t needed nitrous to be able to get my teeth cleaned.

I went here with her today so she could get some dental work done, she has severe anxiety and I’d like to start off by saying that the workers and atmosphere here did not help at all, the workers here made her feel extremely violated and unwelcome from the start…As an Arab/Middle eastern individual myself, I get that a lot of people in our community unfortunately tend to be nosy, talk smack, and have the tendency of not minding our own business but what happened to her today is just completely out of pocket and absurd, the behavior from the staff wasn’t very halal if I do say so myself. SHAME ON YOU!!!Not only was she made fun of by the staff, which she heard ALL of it. And yes she does understand Arabic to an extent, and some Chaldean, so don’t try to act slick thinking you got away with the horrible things you guys were saying. She also caught them taking photos of her report, she saw the secretary’s phone and yes she was taking pictures of my GFs information, that is very much a HIPAA violation and she is going through with filing a report soon. There is zero need for that woman to be taking photos of ANYONES health information, why was she doing this?? Who else’s info is on her phone?!Wallah I am upset and angry about this. What kind of people are running this place? It makes me furious that she had this kind of experience here. We will not be returning to this dentistry.

Just got back from my appointment about 45 minutes ago, and right before I left the office I saw the secretary take a picture of my file and the work I need done and text it to someone on her phone. I feel so violated and know 100% my hipaa rights have been violated. I already filed a complaint, but just want to come on here and say don’t go here. Dwaine Salisbury: Best place ever I had a deep cleaning done and the hygienist named Hawa was very gentle. Defiantly recommend this place. Rita the assistant Is the best and Sarah was really kind and helped me financially ill come back for sure 👌👌

Moon Stars: Ugh... I should of known, what type of place this was going to be after I called and talked to someone who clearly didn't have any customer service skills.. She didn't ask if I was in pain, or any of that matter..she asked if I had insurance. I walk into this place and it is the most junkest place I've ever stepped foot in. They advertise a free consultation but yet charged me for this bs xray they did, the girl, same one that was up front .. Didn't even know if she was doing it properly "I think this is right!" I heard her say as she's trying to position the bs she had to put in my mouth, she also mentioned to the doctor about me having a gag reflex which I thought was weird. the doc came in , not very friendly, he even was speaking in whatever language to his assistant... Seems to me this is a family owned business. He touched my face without gloves on , used equipment I have no idea if it was sanitized or not. When I sat down the whole dental seat hookup shook...this should not happen.. It also looked like a lot of their equipment was used. I didn't get a paper with a quote on it, everything was very ghetto to me. I will not be returning and advise against going to this place as the word shady is a very good description of this place... Mind you, after receiving my quote, I felt like I was being pressured into making a decision.. Also, I didn't see any kind of documentation I have seen at other reputable dentists, such as the license , how long they have been in business.. Shoot, the doctor didn't even tell me his name! What a bunch of bs... Never ever again. 0 stars for wasting my damn time.

christopher burk: I had tooth pain and called all around. I made an appointment with them here and they called the day before to remind me I had an appointment (which I appreciated). I came in just for an exam. I needed 2 teeth pulled. They helped me, very quickly (as I was on my lunch break) and professionally. They offered me a great deal, and did not charge for the ex-rays. They gave me prescriptions that were free at Meijers. So even though I was not expecting any of this, they were fast, affordable as possible and kind. I even got a call the next day to see how I am doing. I will recommend them and be back my self in the future. Thank you Discounted Dental

A dentist in Macomb that had I-pads in waiting room for kids to play on wanted to charge me $650 w/NO anesthetic!Discounted Dental only charged me $350 with local anesthetic!What's crazy is my son was calm at this office even before medicine. Like as if he could feel the dentist's calmness.Anyways not only was this place a great price, but also very clean, and very kind and gentle.So glad I came here and would highly recommend anyone and everyone to this place.

Nick Kadum: *beware of fraud*this dental practice committed fraud with my care credit account. i have 100% proof that dr. berry and his dental practice took advantage of my pain and my situation. they quoted me $3200 for 4 root canals after my insurance. i told them that i did not have money for this - they hustled me into opening a care credit account.after i found another dental practice that quoted me $1200 for 4 root canals, i kindly cancelled my appointment, however, still got charged $3200 on my care credit account for work that was never done. i had to file a fraud report against discount dental to get my money back - in which i got charged $400 for dental impressions or risk not getting any of my money back.rana b. is an employee of discount dental, she was the dental assistant that made a copy of my refund to care credit. rana b. only has one review and it's this dental office. another case of fraud. please beware. go elsewhere.

Emily Hight: Dr Goodman has been fantastic with my young son who has had so many issues with his teeth (many visits and extractions) so we come to see him. Dr. Goodman is kind, gentle, knowledgeable and compassionate with my little guy and takes the time to explain procedures to me.**My only complaint is that several times we have had to wait 1-2 hours past our appt. time and never has any of the staff been upfront that things were running behind. It's happened so many times that I question if appt's are overbooked? I'm sure there are all kinds of emergent situations that come up with patients. (There are there countless, moveable, shelves of patient files.) A good sign that so many people trust this office and dentist. This feedback is only in response to a link the office sent me to review and my intentions are for positive feedback. We will continue to be patients and appreciate all the care we have received. Going forward we have requested earlier appt times to hopefully avoid busier time slots.

Dr Goodman, and all the staff are great! , they definitely know their craft, and are pleasent!From the looks and sound of the location, it may not come across as the most modern place, but actually it's rather nice inside! The equipment, cleanliness, and organization is great!, it makes me feel comfortable knowing that my health is priority for them!I'm a sub contractor in commercial office demolition, after demoing a few medical offices over the years, I can tell which ones were kept up, and those that were not..... this office is well maintained, which is a plus in my book!Due to my type of work, and fluctuating schedule, it can be hard to set appointments, but so far they have been good at scheduling me in a timely manner given all obstacles and such nowadays!I'll will have to admit before going to universal, I had not gone to a dentist in about 18 years!!!, mostly due to situational and financial problems, so my teeth were in really bad shape, and overall health as well due to the tooth infections.After reading many reviews, I decided to go with universal Dental, which is a little farther away than some other dentist, but they took my insurance, and had better reviews in my opinion! So far I'm pleased with universal, I now have zero pain! , I'm feeling much better! , I can eat the foods I used to enjoy years ago! and not only do my teeth look presentable again, my breath doesn't smell terrible anymore!!!As with any dental work there is going to be pain and I knew that, but the tooth aches, infections were unbearable .... I know pain very well due to my back issues (sciatica)... and had having braces to correct my teeth/bite as a child, which was very painful!I really wasn't looking forward to dealing with that level of pain again.....but as far as pain goes with the treatment I've received , it's pretty mild to almost none at times in my opinion.... of course the Motrin helps after the extractions, and other oral surgery...but overall they definitely make sure you stay as comfortable as possible before, during , and after the work!I feel my recovery times were rather quick as well given the procedures I've had, which were a couple of extractions of badly infected teeth, many fillings, an implant, and a couple of cleanings over the last year or so!
