Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts: what do users think?
kaden selvidge: I transferred to sterling heights high school just to attend this program, and was treated horribly by staff. They only value their own job security, which includes a woman with a doctorate teaching at a high school. Thinking she never actually graduated from high school. You would think a doctorate would get you further than a high school, correct? Something went horribly wrong in this program, and it is clearly deteriorating with high staff turnover. If your kid is begging you to remove him/her from the program, please do. They are suffering. The extra star is the ounce of compassion that comes from the costume department.
Vulpecula: 👍👍👍
Nicole: The micro aggressions here are almost enough to make you want to leave the program. If you’re a poc have fun at the shop calls.
Adam Soccorsi: Top notch experience!
Signing Out: 10/10 would recommend!
Sara Hanson: Everyone works together as a team, auch dedication and devotion. The staff arw absolutely amazing. Many amazing memories on that stage. Late nights, hard work and dedication from all made this the beat 4 years of my life. My experiences i had, i still carry with me! I love you WCSPA (TAPP)🖤💛thespian troup 1000💛🖤
Mark Fallows: Went to see an excellent performance by a Filipino singer on Sep 8. This is a real nice performing arts auditorium. They have excellent sound and lighting systems. Don’t know why they are not drawing top caliber bands or theater organizations. Any professional act would love to perform here. They should do some advertising.
Kelly H2O: Since my review was deleted on facebook I'll post one here. We moved to Sterling Heights specifically so my daughter could attend WCSPA. She had to audition, which I'll let you know is bogus since everyone gets accepted. The program sounded fantastic. You're told that your student will be taught how to use power tools, learn how to sew and all about costume design, as well as dancing and acting, lighting etc. Well my daughter learned how to cut a piece of wood and how to dance. If you are overweight the dance teacher will treat you poorly. she told my daughter she understood that she was 'weighted down' , meaning she was overweight and therefore couldn't jump as high, but that she needed to try harder. my daughter and the other heavy girl in the class were always in the back row. if you're the head of the booster club you're kids will get the main parts, even though they aren't the most talented. There was barely any acting classes (improv, games etc), mostly just dance. when there was acting the teacher was very critical, not allowing the students to be imaginative. My daughter will be attending a different school in September.
Joyce Leneway: Took my Granddaughter to see The Cat in the Hat last night. The play was outstanding! The Cast was outstanding! The ppl were outstanding. My Granddaughter just turned 4 years old. On Sophies birthday my daughter gave birth to a 3 daughter so my Granddaughter didn't get the celebration she should have. My sister got tickets to see the play on March 25. 2017 my sisters friend was the mother of Delaney aka the cat in the hat, the cat came out and brought Sophie a book and even took time with her and let us take pictures! The pictures are beautiful!! Sophie aka my Granddaughter was scared at first but Delaney was so sweet to her that within min Sophie was in the cats arms and pictures were snapping! We had a blast, Sophie was clapping and dancing and singing, she's never been to a movie or a show and she was so good, she had a wonderful magic experience, thanks to the cat in the hat. Sophie was dressed in a beautiful ruffled pink dress, she had on a headband and had a magic wand. I believe dreams came true last night for her and I'm so very happy. Thank you for your beautiful auditorium and staff, thank you for everything! There was different ppl standing there taking pictures, one man I believes works taking pictures for the school, you have to see them they are beautiful. I've got some as well. I just wanted to say thank you times 100%. You guys have a beautiful school, a lot of talent is coming out of your school, we're proud to have been a part of that magical night.
Carl Weckerle: Great auditorium to watch school plays and events.
Andre Nasser: I want to join

Arts Academy In the Woods: what do users think?
hiphophoney: they helped me become neurotypical by performing arts and crafts! I even ate some paint by sneaking it into my mouth and it was so yummy!
Dampjustdancemaster 1: I love the teachers they are very straightforward and informative.
Los Plagus: Good school for the artistic children. My daughter goes here and grades have improved side moving from public school
Robert Schuch: Good
the goblin weirdo: meh
Lisa Benedict: The best school around. Based in arts education. Grades 6-12. Cannot say enough positive things about this school. The students, teachers and curriculum are all amazing.
StephLadybugs: Positive:Qualityim gonna give this art school a try becuase i wanna learn normal school stuff the art way and become an artist its been my biggest dream since i was little :3
Sam Me: Positive:QualityI loved my experience at this school. The faculty are so honest and comforting, the student body isn't too big, and I really felt a sense of belonging being a young artist amongst artists. The inside of the school is gorgeous and the art studios are nice. Truly one of a kind.
nataly raymon: Hi I went here for 4 years I always thought the course work was be-hide when actually I was more College like than I thought. In my biology 100 I was one of the only people who knew what was happening and same with precalc. middle school was a really dark time for me and going to arts help not be a shy kid anymore. It made me realize how happy I was there I dislike the college I am at now because I miss the diversity of other people so I’m trying to switch if I didn’t go to arts I don’t think I would be happy. I always talk to people about my school and I’m always happy to explain what AAW is about.
sophia fossett: I wish they taught diversity and inclusion instead of tolerance. Tolerance is so 50''s and needed at the time, but I would like to think in the 2020's we are well beyond this way of thinking. On a very positive note, I must say that the winter concert was amazing!
andria mattews: Great school for my daughter
Lisa Beween: Ugh where to start. Not a school for arts rather a last chance school. Staff that can’t make it anywhere else. Run down building. Egocentric principal who wants to be addressed as Dr. you aren’t curing cancer Mr Mitchell only a leader of a sinking ship. Clean your building give students consequences teach them marketable skills
Jayyy 2.0: Positive:Communication
the lemone: this school makes me feel physically ill and the staff wont stop the students from saying slurs please help
Brezzy Thomas: This school has great arts but the staff here is terrible. The principal picks on certain people so hope your not his person of target for the year. The staff is rude and have no respect .this school just needs to make a drastic improvement
Sandi Prantera: Annoyed that my reviews have been removed. Not shocked but very annoyed!!
levi goulay: To start things off the doors of the school are not locked, any person off the street could simply walk in the school at any tine. There are no security cameras throughout the school either. The staff especially the principal are horrible. An aquaintance of mine was forced by another student to perform oral sex in a hallway. Although she did report the incident the principal did little to punish the offending student and also punished the victim. Not only did he treat the situation inappropriately, but he joked about the fact that it happened and doubted the situations legitimacy due to the offending students reputation. Arts Academy In The Woods is an overall unsafe place with disgusting, immature, and unprofessional staff. I fear for my friends that attend this school and would urge anyone enrolling to find another option.
Marcella Bailey: This is my daughter's 3rd year. The teachers are the reason she loves it so much. She has excelled in visual arts because of Mrs. Bernards dedication to the students. We can't say enough about ALL the teachers at AAW. Excellent staff! Although my daughter can go to school anywhere, we drive 45 miles one way and it's so worth it.
Flat Spoken (Bre): I recommend this school. This school saved my life. The school community is diverse and welcoming. I appreciate all the kind and wonderful staff. I love the fact that I could use my preferred name when the last school I was in shunned me for it.I think the school needs to be funded more so we have better equipment but over all it is wonderful and I appreciate coming here everyday. I don't fear going to school anymore.
Mark Isabell: The staff at this school makes this more a political indoctrination institution than educational institution. Daily they push their liberal agenda down to the students. The students respond by joining in on the one sided discussion. I do not recommend this school for any children that have been raised as free and objective thinkers.
Jack King: One of the worst schools in the world!! Dirty and never clean they have bugs everywhere and no air also no heat in this school in the winter teachers never take there job seriously!! How do you call yourself an art school with no stage at all to show. Horrible "highschool more like middle you should shut it down.
