Lisa Coulter: This place is so unprofessional, especially DAVE at the Warren location. Bought a 34 inch commercial gravely with a loaner program. Paid it off in 3 months. Started having issues with it and they NEVER had a loaner at that size for me. Everything was my fault even though the part that was broken was defective on that size mowers. One of the service techs at the shelby location told me that. They have ZERO honor, especially Dave. The turn around time to get anything fixed is about 3 weeks if not longer. I would recommend Weingartz for all commercial needs.

Woke up to a 48 degree house.Called and they said bring it in today, we will have it by end of day. Even better it was ready and running 2 hours later.Howard’s was a life saver.

The staff is really friendly and courteous. They helped us unload and load the snowblower onto our truck. If you need a repair for your outdoor equipment I suggest you go to Howard's Outdoor Power Equipment to get it fixed. Thank you for repairing our snowblower. Y'all are awesome!

Although I haven't had any repairs done, I'm sure their work quality is just as great as they have been with my parts & customer service. Anything I've ordered has came in with 1-2days. They have had alot of high performance parts in stock that majority of stores don't carry or are special order only. Great guys, very helpful, great stock on parts.

Then one his techs, Zach, removed the blades from the deck in my truck bed, and meticulously sharped them better than I've ever seen them done before! What an artisan!! The lawn looks great, thanks to you, Zach!! I'm coming back in the fall to have my annual service done (for much less than I've paid in the past elsewhere) and I'm REALLY glad I found these folks!!

The engine stopped shortly after I had begun. After numerous attempts to restart my lawnmower and having it start and stop in seconds. I headed back to Modern Mower where I get it winterized. Brian immediately had his man working on the problem. Turns out it was probably bad gas which was flushed out. Twenty minutes later I’m on my way back home. NO charge. My grass is now cut. My trust in Brian rewarded.

Since he does the repairs and maintenance at my house, brings all the tools and parts he needs to get the job done, and he saves me both time and effort. He's remarkably efficient as he's eager to get me up and running quickly, and I feel a kind of security having his number and knowing that he's just a phone call away. Highly recommended.

Eric Tilds: Although I have used Dave in the past and he does good work, my most recent experience was terrible. I had an appointment for him to repair a piece of lawn equipment at my home with a service window of 11a-2p. He called me at 1:15p saying that he could not get there before 2p. This is where things went downhill. I told him that I work from home and that I had to be on a call from 2-3p. As such, I offered to leave the equipment outside, and told him I could give him a credit card in advance. He told me he only accepts cash and checks (which is fine), so I told him I would happily write a check. He got very angry, telling me how much business he has lost because people work from home and cannot be flexible. I reminded him that I had cleared my schedule between 11a and 2p that day and that he missed his service window, but I would be happy to reschedule. He told me I should load my lawn equipment in my car (I can't; it's too big and heavy) and drive it a repair shop. That way, I can "take my calls on the way to and from the shop." He refused to reschedule the appointment over the phone.***UPDATE: Dave's response to my review tells you everything you need to know about him as a small business owner. All he needed to do was say "Sorry I missed your service window, can we reschedule?" Instead he behaved like a child. Buyer beware...
