Nehal Dalal: Not sure if we can give 0.5 rating, will like to let the public know the lady in the store was very loud, screaming on all the indian customers who were anxiously waiting in the que for around 30mins - 1hour. Store manager should address the issue and take action on that lady, who sounded more racist from the behavior everybody noticed and experienced. Expected respect, be kind to the customers no doubt what ethnicity they come from, eventually we work hard and pay any amount to celebrate our well known Diwali festivals and fireworks are must - which Phantom fireworks should think it as an opportunity rather than treating the customers so bad.

DeAngelo Wells: So I spoke with someone about buying a mortar rack over the phone and he told me it would be $55 because it was everything in the store half off. When I went to check out, I was told I would have to pay full price. I’m like so who dropped the ball. I’m a veteran, all I ask is for transparency. And even on the veteran note, there’s no real discount, you just get an item of 10% of your subtotal. So basically you better spend at least a few hundred to actually get an “item” for free. Last time I deal with Phantom….

Terry: My buddy and I have been going to Phantom Fireworks since 1999 (before MI). I never been so misinformed by an incompetent Manager. He had no idea about any of your products. We have spent way to much money trying to support my local business and offended us and talked down to us. Who is responsible for making that person with no knowledge of fireworks a Manager. We will never spend any more money at this company . We were so disgusted with out experience today and you lost our business today which easily would have been $500+. We walked out spending $0 because of this Manger. We will never cone back unless he is gone. He has no people skills what's so ever.

I went to the Detroit Zoo today and decided to stop in when I realized it was relatively close.I can say first and foremost, I will be going back. The selection was great and the prices were very fair. What stood out the most was the friendly staff. They answered anything I asked with honest responses and made great upsell suggestions. They were exceptional and even interacted with the munchkins I had with me.I will be back!

Doug Smith: The sales person was quite helpful (never met Pat). The store was fully stocked and organized fairly well. It could use some basic signage to know where certain types are. The quality of fireworks is quite good.Prices are high. I went to supplement my inventory. I can get a years supply for the "supplementing" selections I made. I picked up less than I light off on the 4th of July. They have a competitors ad listed and it is a bit deceiving...I am familiar with that competitor and know I could grab similar product for about 40% what they charge.I would return if the prices were in line with others.UPDATE to Pat's comments.I did ask about price matching and the response was, "they [unnamed competitor] inflate their prices. Ours are already lower." But the same amount of 500g cakes (repeaters) on special costs less with them compared to an equivalent amount of your least expensive cakes.So you do not price match. Certain items, if I was buying 1, you are less. But when multiple, they beat you per unit, hands down. Sorry, this is the facts.
