D. G.: I volunteered for Gleaners Food Bank and worked in the office for two years or so. What an awesome organization. It was an honor to volunteer for Gleaners. I worked with some of the nicest caring people. Everyone at this location does such an excellent job keeping all the food and produce fresh. I just love that Gleaners fights daily to keep people all over the Detroit Area fed. No one should go hungry. I envision a crucifix hanging from the sky over the Gleaners facility on Beaufait protecting everyone who works there during the day. God bless everyone at Gleaners for all that they do.

Angela Castillo: I've never been there! I with i could find a mobile food give away near joy and Schafer! Ours is gone now! We need forgotten harvest or gleaners mobile drive thru free food in our area again! They were a real great big help!!!! Especially in this day and age of the economic fall out! Cant afford anything anymore! Very sad! Free food helps! 😢
