I called and they kept the store open for my wife and I (past hours) as I wanted to surprise her with a Glock. Not only were they very welcoming and not pushy, but took their time and gave us really good insights to find the perfect gun. I was so impressed that I ended up ordering a special one that I was originally not even thinking about for another couple years. But with the great deal my wife got, and their wanting to be sure that we were happy, I couldn’t resist. This is like no other gun store I have been to in the best of ways! So many times I’ve referred a question his way (mind you, I haven’t been able to make a purchase yet!) and he is always willing to answer and help with any questions I have about gun laws, selling and buying, and little things that first-time gun owners wouldn’t know.I overheard someone’s experience during their C&C class and they said they same, SO professional and knowledgeable.He is one of the funniest business owners out there but when it comes to his knowledge and professionalism, he is the best I know. I would trust him over anyone else.

Dan Hetrick: Showed up, ready to drop some money on a new Glock, and apparently the owners don't care about posted hours. I showed up at 2:00pm (they apparently close at 3:00 and reopen at 4:30), and there's no one here. This shop is already inconvenient enough, with their weird hours and not being open on weekends, and you apparently can't count on them to be in the shop when they're supposed to be open. I'm spending my money elsewhere, and I'd suggest you do the same. Completely unprofessional.

I have read some of the recent reviews and I am sad that such a great group of responsible people can be so bitter . I have had nothing but a great experience. I started by taking the CWL class during which the owners Natalie and Jayson explained all of the finer points of gun care and ownership and then I went on to purchase my first weapon, which during the process Natalie sat down with me, and went through all the finer points showing me the ins and outs of the weapon. I highly recommend this place because of the owners. You can always find a weapon but it's the personalized service that make the experience great. And to some of the detractors out there, yes you have every right to spend your hard earned dollar anywhere you please but don't be too harsh because someone has had a bad day. I find it very interesting that some hunters will sit for hours and days on end and and never get a shot off, but don't have the patience to try to give this little store a break. Happy hunting. I came across The Island Armory and I read their reviews. Nothing but good reviews from this place. I told myself this is the place I will check out. They did a transfer for me and got me on my way. Awesome experience and made me feel so comfortable. They are very knowledgeable. I definitely will be doing business with them again in the future. I will highly recommend this place to all my family and friends. Everyone else should check this place out you will not be disappointed.

Teri Schoeny: Ronn did a party for me and we all left feeling very disappointed. Granted, you are always taking a risk when getting a psychic and usually it's all in fun, but this wasn't even fun. He charged $40 for a 15 minute reading and barely gave any of my guests a 10 minute reading. The readings they had were horrible, some people even got the same reading and he spent a lot of time talking about himself. It's almost like he just wanted a night out to chat with people. I feel horrible and embarrassed because I thought he was one of Michigan's Best Psychics from all the reviews and I kept telling my guests how good he was supposed to be. $40 is a lot of money to spend on someone that isn't even trying to do a good job or make it fun. I don't know if he was having an off night or what but if that's the case I would have preferred he cancelled so my guests could save their money. I would definitely not recommend him.

When I contacted Ronn regarding my ring he said he saw it in a pocket in a pile of clothes. We found the ring in the shirt pocket before it went to the laundry.
