Denaa David: Everyone please ignore any negative comments about this place. Literally the owner was the sweetest person ever and made sure I got the best quality extensions that matched my hair perfectly!! I got indian remy clip ons they held curls all day and night during my brothers wedding. Shop here because the customer service was unmatched. My hair is a light brown ash usually hard to find but found them there.

Patricia Zimolzak: I was there on Feb 2nd. Bought a hair extension and a bottle of shampoo that she said I needed. Got home and realized I had a bottle. I never opened the new one and they still wouldn't take it back. Ridiculous. I understand no return on hair pieces but an unopened bottle of shampoo? (My mistake. I thought this was the one in Oakland Mall. So sorry) Disregard this review please.

Ricia Jamillah: I've been shopping at this location and at the store in the Oakland Mall for years spent a lot of money in there. Tuesday morning I rather Tuesday afternoon. I go in to buy a ponytail and other supplies to surprise a young lady. I never buy hair first time no one ever said you can't exchange the ponytail, never even was open. Came back less than three and a half hours later to try to get it exchange and was lied to, (it's on your receipt), no it's not on the receipt! There is a small cardboard piece of paper hanging close to the register that says no hair return exchanges written in magic marker. I think they should either put it on the receipt or when you buy something just come out and say it's non-refundable or returnable but don't lie about being on the receipt.
Mia Parker: The store was well stocked an clean. The isles were not cluttered and spaced sufficiently. Lisa was nice, polite and provided honesty when telling my friend how the hair looked on her when she tried them on. Even though I am a Westsider, I will return.

The selection is huge and the prices are actually the same or less than online if you equate shipping so it’s totally worth it to purchase your items here. Christopher Howard: To me it's a one way for fine convenience
Kimas Kreatives: Rude sales associate - possibly management!!!!! I purchased an extension cord rang up at $11.25 but I didn’t notice it until after my order was completed. So I went back to the aisle and took a picture of the actual price of the item which was $10.25. I took it back to the same sales associate who I believe was actually the manager and told me that it was too late. I stated that it was not too late and that all they had to do was give me the price difference. This individual argued back-and-forth with me in front of other customers and even wanted me to repeat to them that I understood that next time I would check the price before my sale was completed. All they had to do was adjust the price and give me the difference. That’s it. It was not my fault that the price in the system was different from the price on the sales floor. But they made it seem like I was at fault because they did not want to take an extra minute to do the return. I kept my cool and was not rude but they were extremely rude to me and it was completely unnecessary. I I live in the neighborhood and I try to frequent the neighborhood stores to keep them going but I just can’t deal with the attitude. I will never go into that store again!

ThePreciousfab: This is a welcome store to pick up a few quick items, albeit I've been in there twice while shoplifters walked out with merchandise, or a team member was a little unprofessional, or stock wasn't properly placed on shelves due to staffing issues. However, there have been times when the cashiers were fine, and attempts were made to have the store in order! I will give them credit for effort. Unfortunately, I noticed this store has been closed the last few times I checked. Have folks quit? Are they vacationing? Is FD having trouble hiring? What is it now?

Vickie Johnson: Went to the one by alter road on Warren they didn't have any shopping carts and the hand baskets had no handles. There was at least 15 people waiting in line when another cashier finally opened up he said credit or debit only he was able to help two people the rest of us was using cash so everyone still had to wait in the long line only for the cashier to say she didn't have any change so please try to have exact change. I don't fault them I fault the owners of these establishments. Almost everyone of them say they have no change and there is always stock blocking shelves and whole aisles to where you cant get to items. I really try not to have to go to any family dollar but if I do I go to the one on Gratiot and Mt. Elliot, their usually well stocked and the staff is really polite and they have shopping carts. To the people who own Family Dollar visit your locations and see how poorly their ran. I know places are short on staff so I can understand that, but your short on staff, stock and let's especially not forget change

D Dunbar: Terrible place to work, the store manager isn't very keen on good workers. She rather you be about self rather than teamwork even if you see a coworker struggling. You can do your best but it won't be good enough. Don't apply if you have any dignity and actually take your work ethic seriously it won't be rewarded or appreciated.

In Our Home Real Life Situations: The light skin hiring manager and staff are very unprofessional they're rude my total was 38.73 the cashier had no singles and no pennies there was no manager around and the lady had to keep hitting the Bell in order for assistance when it came to loading my card when the manager returned she acted as if she did not want to service me she was yelling at the cashier telling her to reject purchases if they do not have exact change or using a card I thought that was very unprofessional don't shop here.

I went back on Monday and was treated like a lying thief. The young lady that helped me said she would review the camera and call me, well I never received a call and I can't get my money back. So, I ended up paying 10.60 for a cashier error. I am so very disappointed in the Family Dollar chain, everyone that shops there is not a lying thief. All I want is my money back for an item I didn't purchase. I will take my business to Dollar General.
