Henriksen's driving range south: what do users think?
Jason crute: The balls are horrible, the mats are horrible, the tees are horrible.Invest in your business, be proud of it! Get some new Mats and balls.
Elizabeth Johnson: Friendly staff and long hours. Nothing fancy. Accommodating both my 5 year old and 12 year old with a number of different sized clubs. Some covered areas with heaters or fans to offset the temps. We were only there for about an hour, but it's nice to have a place so nearby to just practice your hits.
Brenath R: Great place with section of real grass. Wind at your back
Dakota Hale: Was kayaking on the Clinton river behind this property and was hit in the eye with a golf ball, I even had the ball with a red ring around it. I went to talk with the manager about it to see if they would cover the cost of my glasses and to inform them that it is negligent to allow this to happen. The owner was extremely rude and refused to help me fill out an accident form. I ended up calling the police for a police report. The cop said he has personally drove balls over the net, and the paramedics said I have a concussion. Can’t believe this happened and they refuse to accept liability.
Ray Houthuysen: Mats were in good shape. Balls were a hodge podge of throw aways.
Scott Ferguson: Good practice range. Some covered (heated) stations. Reasonable prices. Fair condition. Always friendly staff.
Mitchell Rose: Good ol driving range. Price is reasonable. Perfect for anyone who wants to get some swings in
Paul Hopson: Love this place I feel like you can always get a spot great prices too, friendly staff.
Chad Anderson: Not many ranges left. Will continue to support this place.
Nicholas: I'm not very good at driving but some people here probably are.
Josh Mcc: Nice place
William May: Good price for bucket of balls. High like everything right now. Average tee set up.
Steven B: Does the job
Matt Jacob: It’s ok
Noah Vredenburg: Been going here for years. Always enjoy myself and the staff are great people.
Nick T: Ton of fun a well kept course
Nicholas Jaskowski: Good price to hit a few balls at the range. Would prefer more grass verse mats.
Kevin Holevar: Great place to warm up or work on your game
D B Transport LLC: Pretty good range tee boxes are slanted and charge you a extra dollar for using a card plus worker pulled basket and dumped balls so couldn't move tee boxes
Harvey Wells: Nice enough place. Has several heated stalls. About 9 bucks a bucket. It's self serve right now.
gary shellenbarger: over priced $6 for small bucket. should be $6 for large bucket

Henriksen's Driving Range North: what do users think?
Andriy Fediv: Good place to practice
Brandon Challangoe: This place is not a bad option to come and hit some golf balls it is cheap and good place to hit not that busy. The only thing is the road to get there is kinda hard to find but it’s also not there fault.
julio oyola: First time there, plenty of room.
William Nowak: Great price, friendly staff and they had clubs for my 4 year old to practice on. Will be back many more times.
Edwin Feys: Good, local and friendly
Jeremy Ison: Small grass piece with reasonable pricing. Bring cash if you want to save a few. Very nice down to earth people working .
Steven Kramer: Good place to hit some balls. Good price for a large bucket at $9.
Sherry Kraus: Decent condition. $7 for a small bucket, $9 for a large on a Sunday- cash price. Credit is a bit more. They do offer semi-private lessons as well.
ERIN CANU: Great driving range in the morning and afternoon bc you are not facing the sun ! Driveway is really hard to find .
Chris Sweany: place to just go and hit some balls, nothing fancy
April Dunham: The golf course faces the sun and the mats are not updated or have much give. But the driving range is still good for practice and it was pretty cheap.
Apurva Muddappa: Direct sun around 6, but good place to hit a bucket of balls
Garrett Metcalf: Friendly staff, flexible hours and straight forward no frills approach to a driving range. Location is good for us, a lot of the mats could be replaced, I think they could charge $1-2 less per large bucket and still turn a profit but I understand market rate and how profit isn't a crime. Overall good family owned establishment
Edward Gubala: Great old-school driving range without any gimmicks! Good for a quick bucket after work. Being from out of town, I chose one of the forgotten beauties from the driver rack and just crushed it! I should have bought that thing and dumped my expensive show driver. Proof that it's not the club, but the golfer that makes the difference.
Brandon Barkhouse: Friendly service and good prices.
Connor Henry: Friendly and can do simple repairs on site
Rick Marsh: Cheap and great service
J. Kerr: Decent driving range, although some bays are occasionally missing rubber tees. Not a lot of amenities (drinks, food,etc)- just the basics, but nice folks running it.
kim cervone: Friendly service and good prices. I've seen some pretty cool wildlife at both places too. A fox at the south location and a hawk. ground hogs and deer at the north place. Very cool!
Barnabas A. Christian: Bargain valueplace needs some tlc
Robert Mendicino: Close to home and open spots

Gratiot Golf Center: what do users think?
Patrick Jackson: Not bad, good prices and friendly staff.
Darcy Hoyes: Fun place to practice during the winter. Al is the best golf instructor!
Daily Slice: Very nice facility with lots of fun options like the putt putt course. I like to go there and get a small bucket and get the clubs swinging. When gratiot isn’t under major construction. Just wish they would cut target greens with flags on the range for better shot placement accuracy. Overall for anyone who lives close by it’s a great option.
Dustin “D-Mak” Makowiec: Just an average place
Jeremy Pippin: Old put putt but still very fun
renatvs61: Putt-Putt golf course is in bad need of repairs and maintenance. Staff doesn't seem to know what is available for kids on the driving range. This place went down hill...
Tee. T Rozell: Always love it here. Just wish it was more trees for shade.
Alex Brauer: Great range!
wanda kunnert: nice driving range
William Boivin Jr: The Putt putt was Ok. The green platforms were in need of repair though.
Tim Berkesch: It was enjoyable playing miniature golf and then watching people on the practice tees.
Nathan Foondle: The only place I go to knock the snot out of a bunch of range balls. $12 bucks for a large basket of balls. Mats or natural turf with putt-putt! Construction is a nightmare on Gratiot Ave. but nearly complete.
George Spiteri: Just had a lesson with Pere Kingsley using their launch monitor. Pete does a great job explaining why things happen and helps to correct swing paths without recreating your natural motion. I have had many lesson from Alex Macko as well there and he too has been great. If you are a golfer, I'd highly recommend starting your season with a lesson to start your season on the right path!
Megan Jackson: Went last week. Staff not friendly kind of felt like a bother more then a customer. Also the landscape is horrible around the put put. Everything is over grown and some or it get in the way.
Joe: Great!
Anton Sugar: I grew up in this area and not only used the range and putt putt growing up but also worked there for a bit, a long time ago. Its a shame to see how the new owners run this place. Broken concrete under the mats, they have heated covered bays that they refuse to use due to cost in the colder months. And Im not sure if they are allergic to money or just dont understand basic business fundamentals, but they refuse to sell larger baskets of balls even an hour before closing. And they close at 730 in the summer. If it rains, they close while having covered bays. Its close to my house but I will never spend another dollar there. I'll drive out to Henriksens south in Sterling Heights.
DyJania Ward: Was very rude
Jason Grunenwald: 1.Stopped by on my way home, closed. An hour earlier than posted time.2. Stopped again, pretty busy, asked for a "jumbo" bucket, the kid behind the counter hands me a large, thinking he may not have heard me, I said "oh I'm sorry I meant jumbo", his response "today, that's a jumbo". It was nowhere near closing time.3. Third times a charm. Pulled in and while unloading clubs a woman comes out and asks me if I'm there to hit balls. "Yes", she responds "well we're slow right now now so we're only selling small buckets", I said "well I guess I'll take a small", she actually seemed disappointed that I was there for business, mind you a couple had arrived the same time. She locked the door after we walked in and proceeded to turn away three other customers an hour and a half before posted closing time. Never have I felt so unwelcome trying to give someone some business, a business in which they chose to operate.
Eric Dub: Dated facility although it appears improvements are being attempted. Friendly staff, decent prices.
Stephanie Sparks: Cute little place to take the kids to play Putt-puttIt is pretty outdated, painted chipped, and some really random fake animals around certain holes. But my kids had a blast either way
John: Great place to hit some golf balls. Putt putt for the family and it's affordable.

Royal Oak Golf Center: what do users think?
Hunter Dale: Took group lessons with Matt. He was a great instructor. Kept things simple. “Play bad golf good” Driving range is very nice. Covered tee’s for the rainy days. Hit balls, take lessons, play mini golf.
cal14th: Nice facility, both Left and Right Hand bays. Auto tees as well!
Zach rosario: I was verbally attacked by the employee Justin T. When I asked for the owners information he pointed to a rack of cards and said “it’s over there” he then came back out from his office a 2nd time & I asked him “do I just email Glenn A. Pulice the GM?” He said yes. As I was walking out of the building he again disrespected me but in front customers this time.
Tex: Fantastic golf range. Staff is always polite.
Madelyn King: It was busy today as to be expected but I only had to wait 20 minutes for an open mat.
Mike Misiak: Good range. Gotta get the net fixed
cat boi K: a tip for people: if you see a number on the things open it and pour your golf ball, thank me later.
Steve Walmsley: Great place to practice golf. Well run. Nice repair shop. Good instruction. Keep up the good work!
Julia Lupan: Great driving range with honest and kind staff! Went to let off some steam after work on 9/27 and took my ring off to hit some balls and forgot the ring behind. I called the next morning and Glenn and Rachel went to quickly look and found my ring right away! Also, the heating right above the bays is a very nice and appreciated feature here. Made it much more comfortable for me to hit in 50 degree weather. Will definitely be back!
Larry Barnes: Had the mini golf course to ourselves. It was nearing the end of the season so the water works weren't working.
Adam Jandura: Mini golf course is in need of some serious TLC. Nonfunctional water fixtures, dirt and debris everywhere, and pathways and fencing that are crumbling and falling apart really make it hard to believe their claim that this is "the most spectacular miniature golf course in Michigan."
Rick Van House: Mini golf is embarrassing for the city. Needs about $100,000 upgrade. Can't even blow the greens off. Water is full of moss and algae. Broken bricks everywhere. At least it's cheap.
Jonathon Casalou: Great practice tees.
Leigh Dobbs: Great driving range! I can drop off my tween/teen sons and they’re busy hitting balls for an hour while I go run errands in the area. They absolutely love it!!
Don G.: The Putt Putt course is in VERY VERY BAD condition, Looks the waterfall has not worked in very long time, so all the ponds that it flows into are filled with VERY NASTY standing water (Can Anyone Say West Nile Virus !!!). There is trash and debris laying around , the grounds are in disrepair and all this for $8.50 per adult. Looks like they remodeled driving range at the expense of totally ignoring the The PUTT PUTT course where families go for some fun. Don't waste your time or money, DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR
Christopher Harbourne: Nice driving range, automatic ball dispenser and adjustable automatic tees. Would rate higher but, for some reason, the putting area is ALWAYS closed, seemingly for no reason....
M Nelson: Showed up to play putt putt golf and I was discusted by the condition of the course during peak season.
nickmack: Showed up today very excited to hit my new Sim Max Driver I just got. Seeing that this place just so happens to be a DRIVING RANGE, thought it would be a good place to go, right? WRONG!!! I was promptly asked by management if I could stop using my driver because golf balls that were apparently all mine were going through the net, at the back of the DRIVING RANGE into the parking lot 250 yards away!!. You fix that problem, it's not going over the net obviously, I'm not hitting it 600 yards. Literally thought he was joking!! The place was absolutely packed like it usually is. How can you possibly single out me? I might accidentally hit it that far, which the trusty net should catch!! I'm not a great golfer by any means, which is hilarious that this banter even happened! I was only 16 shots into my bucket of 100. I'm not here to bash the place, I've been coming here for 30 years, but this is crazy!!. The facility is great and they have put a ton of money into it clearly. Seams like they need to get better netting, no clue how this is this my fault? Hitting a ball 250 yards into the net is not some crazy feat of strength. Oh wait......Maybe figure out where the holes are first before coming up to me. Maybe put up some "NO DRIVERS ALLOWED AT THE DRIVING RANGE" signs around the place (which would be laughable). People do come to the DRIVING RANGE just to hit their driver, it's not a crazy concept. Hopefully I don't hit too many homeruns at the batting cage next.
Jeffrey Martens: You close at 6 pm during the summer. Adorable.
Kristin Kelly: First time here and I had a great experience. I enjoyed it and even like it so I'm interested in learning how to golf.
Archana Deo: Will be back for more mini golf. This course was a little challenging for a change. Its in a great location. Its on your right when you get off woodward Ave immediately after the light. Keep looking at your right. The staff was super nice. Always had a smile and greeted everyone incoming super nicely. This place was packed tonight. Amazing crowd too! Everyone was having fun!

Belle Isle Golf Range: what do users think?
Patty Dubrish: Nice staff.Great place to hit a bucket of balls.
vanoefft: I can’t speak for the negative reviews that appear to be directed at previous ownership. All I can say is that the new group is top notch. The work and investment they are putting into this place is evident.Excited to check out Top Tracer when they open in the spring! Wow!Well done BIG Team!
Norm La Salle: Always closed
Josh J: The driving range was in great shape, and the short course was very fun. 6 holes, the longest hole was 60 yards, and the shortest hole was 25 yards. Not super putter-friendly on the greens, but very affordable, can't wait to come back.
Jeffery Walker: Testing my golfing skills
Rob Thompson: Love these guys, always friendly and nice range.
Jalal: This place is amazing. The staff is great as well.
Frederick Borden: Nice range.
Charles Frigerio: This is a hidden jem on Belle Isle. Short course and range are fun with great views. Ownership is knowledge and very friendly. Can’t wait to come back
Jennifer Giroux: Definitely worth going to! Great driving range that is set in a beautiful area. Enjoyed how the chipping area is right next to the river. You can tell that the management is really working hard to make this a great space. As a Detroiter, it makes me proud that we have such a great place for golf! I’ll definitely be making regular visits this summer.
Aaron Redmond: **Anyone thinking about going there read this review!**-This place is great. You should 100% go here as it one of the nicer driving ranges in the entire state with great views driving in and out of the range as well. The 3.7 star rating(at the time of this review) is not accurate!!!!The reason the rating is so low is because this place has had 3 different owners.1st ownership - Good2nd ownership- HORRIBLE. Ran the place in to the ground, was never open. Those are the bad reviews you see.3rd ownership - Excellent. Mike and his team are great.Definitely check this place out
Ryan Scheidemantle: Nice range, friendly service and allowed us to borrow some clubs for free since we were visiting. Nice hidden gem!
Mr Long: It's a nice Golf Range to practice at in my book.
vermon thomas (the vermonator): Can't wait till the short game course opens
Lincoln Corneil: Very nice range with very nice staff. Driving out there was exceptional with the views of the parks, city and beaches. Very cool experience. The little golf course isn’t open but they are watering the greens so maybe someday soon.
James Murray: Gorgeous place, honestly with the love and effort Mike and Brandon are putting into it this will be top 5 if not too 1 driving/ practice ranges in Michigan. You have light 25mph traffic's behind you, a beautiful view of the Detroit river in front of you, and a Now well cared for facility. Detroit golf has been missing something the last few years and I believe it was the Bell isle golf range
Tyler Young: Very nice place.
Amanda Clunis: What an incredible driving range! Friendly staff, impeccably kept grounds; I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for your kindness today, Mike!
J Archer: When it's open it's 5 stars but the hours seem like mere suggestions. The phone says it opens at 10:30, the door says 11:45, it is currently 12:30 and no one is here.
Richard Kaczynski: Beautiful place. ALJ Property Services approves
Ray: Good Social distance.

Beech Woods Driving Range: what do users think?
jay s: Armpit park
Rusco Fox: Beech Woods is so peaceful and nice. The driving range is ok, although it could use some new distance markers. I really wish they would open the golf course back up, because it looks gorgeous. The clubhouse is charming.
Ryan Corcoran: This place has potential to be a decent driving range, but the staff and management leaves a lot to be desired. The range closes at 8:30, even though there's lights that could easily extend these hours. The woman at the front desk was rude and condescending. I tried to get a bucket of balls at 8:02 and was told they were no longer selling buckets anymore because they close in a half hour. Also, there were no tees for any of the open matts (only 7 matts were used and I heard others complaining about no tees available), they were either broken or missing. With the right management in place, staff attitude adjustment, and some moderate upgrades, this range could be a great spot for local golfers to practice their game. Extending the hours to accommodate those that work to 6 pm or later would also likely bring in additional revenue. I would definitely make this a regular spot if improvements were made.
Thaddeus Holloway: It very beautiful park i love it I would say to;my friend and family go their and have a nice time it very well maintained
Bno 33: Good driving range for the price. They don't have a chipping area, but they do have a sand bunker and putting area
Sean Houde: Staff seem to only be used to regulars. Could be a bit more helpful. Otherwise, was a great experience, despite the many bad reviews. Will be back.
Thomas Marentette: Friendly staff and a great place to hit balls..only complaint is that the grass tees aren’t open yet
vermon thomas (the vermonator): nice place to practice
Xander Walsh: Nice public range. Plenty of space, targets, and mostly good quality balls. Make sure you go to the pro shop to get balls, but will definitely go back.
David Dehnke: Signs on driving range building are from 2020 or 2019. No Hours, no people in sight. Call the number listed and it just rings. Just as we walked back to our cars and loaded our clubs someone told us you have to go to the Golf course clubhouse(The course is closed...) for balls. Went with 2 other people and it was impossible to find 3 spots next to each other because of all the missing tee's. The ones that did have tees stuck up at least 3 inches. Grounds were well maintained but bet its very dry in the summer. The staff was super nice, once we found them.
Joe Muliet: Great place to hit golf balls in the winter with the overhead heater's. Has a great staff if you need professional help.
Christopher Paul: Great year-round practice facility. Still wondering if the golf course will ever be open.
Jody Gsbon: Wish they would open the golf course back up
Clifton Johnson: Great driving range. The golf course is very good, but closed this season.
Cathy B Smith: I go here for the peace & quiet.
Marvel Sims: Excellent course and customer service!
Daniel Wolford: This course is probably too difficult for my playing abilities, but I still love coming back
Jose Kipper: Extremely bad and impolite service, we call a day before and told us the rate was 13 usd per 9 holes we made the reservation. Next day we are paying and they charge us 25 usd for 9 holes! and did not recognize the rate they gave us. Guy on the front desk very impolite and 0 customer service oriented. I will never come back, the course was not even in good shape.
Born A Bastard: Beautiful course to walk, plenty of wildlife to see!
Mandel Nobles: Best nine hole course in the area!!!!!!
forepar65 R.: Great course to play, no need for a driver. Work on your iron game. Club house pro shop need some work.

Rouge Park Golf Course: what do users think?
Jennie: Fun course, just would be nice if had cart service at all and a restroom on back 9.
Da BATMAN I am out the D: It’s the best landscaped designed toughest challenge fun course with in 20-30 miles of the Detroit metro area staff is wonderful for a very nice price by all means I recommend it
Renda Y: Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Don’t waste your money here. Plenty of other courses that have a friendly environment, this is not one of them.
John Domutz: I like to practice putting and chipping at Rouge Golf course. I grew up playing golf there and it's an old familiar place to go to. I play a round or two per year there as well.
Dennis Bramigk: Very well kept course.
Mickey Thorington: Very fun, in great shape.
Tommy Ambrose: Nice course.
Avis Taylor: Expensive and very very slow
Dustin Nowland: Hidden gem .. great prices .. great upkeep .. great people with good attitudes working there .. highly recommend for a local course
Andre Harris: Nice mid level course. Rangers are pretty decent. One of my favs.
m scott: Good course but they need drinking water on the course for safety
Josh P: It had been some years since I played here. The course was in the best condition I have ever seen it in. It was a Sunday with a late morning tee time, play was a little slow. The addition of a beverage cart was nice, bring cash though at the time they couldn't run a card an the cart. Maybe get a pay square in the future? I'll be playing this course more. The course always had a nice layout. Awesome to see it in great shape.
Eric Evans: This is my home course and I love it ,,,weekdays if no leagues come out at 4:30 and get in the skin game ,,,, solomon, gravedigger, flash, cinco, Fred neal, and the rest of the boys will happily take your 20 bucks everyday
Jackie Scott: It's hard but fair.
Douglas Kelly: $40/18 in July? Ok
Karly Gallis: My friends and I golfed here last night and had a great time. The staff was friendly, the course was well-maintained, and we had a great experience. We golfed in the evening and had the perk of watching the sun go down over the beautiful course. We did the front nine and I found the course challenging but fun with lots of water to shoot over and curvy holes that make you strategize your shots. We’ll definitely be back!
Carrieann Towne: Rouge is a great course! Affordable to play, really nice staff, and beautiful holes. It was challenging enough but still good for beginners! Will definitely be back to play another 18
Edward Kim: Very enjoyable course. One of the oldest in the Detroit area. Course conditions are far from ideal as this course is prone to flooding.
Jason Walewski: I love this track.. great open course in the city. Some water holes that make you adjust your game a little. Some par 3 tee boxes could use some work, greens were in great shape and the course was very playable.
Albert Crumsey: Challenging course. Needs trees to be cut, narrow fairways, awkward hole placement. Brings some balls with you, because you're going to lose some!!!!
Joseph Woods: Challenging course. Some strange holes but fun. Kept up better than last year. Love the wild life. It's like they belong there. Reasonable price.

Bello Woods Golf Course: what do users think?
Andrew Boice: This course is not good for playing they have the worst fair ways not cut enough feels like playing in the roughRandom divots in the ground almost fell because one of themWould not recommend although they have it cheap I would not recommend
Eeyore Bishop: Never been there. Nor will I ever be there because I don't golf
Florence Osborn: They always do a great job taking care of the big groups when we do our fundraisers!
Robert Theut (Bobby T): The most dangerous course ever. Way to tight.
One Trombone: Nice little course.
Travis Newton: Staff were amazing and very fun to chat with. Played White and Gold course. The only note I had was the tee's are close to the greens so got to be careful if you not the greatest shot like me. Well maintained course.
Ray Podowski: 3 nine course...very nice nd not a bad price
Mike Van Proeyen: Very friendly staff, and greens in great shape
Allen Stiles: Course is in good shape. Friendly staff.
Ken Ashburn: It's a great 27 hole course for beginners because of price, but with that you have a lot of inexperienced or careless players. You hear "Fore" more than people cheering/congratulating one another
F00T13S McGee: Great course and friendly staff
Rsy Green: Nice wide open course. I frequent it all the time.
Luke Bland: Very fun course. Some challenging pin placements, but we'll maintained greens.
Joshua Bartolf: One of my favorite places to golf, 27 holes and everyone is super friendly
Paula S.: Tee time at 10AM. Starter let’s off a group of 12 with a 10:07AM tee time before us with course already backed up. This place is a complete joke! If I could give zero stars I would have.
Kathy G: Course was in the best condition ever. Far better than anywhere else I've played this year.Service at the pro shop & restaurant was excellent.
theodore passeno: Great place to play golf
Eric Smith: Over priced, 4hr 45min I'm sorry but it's really not worth the 45$. Great staff though
david stocks: Good shape, good deal, enjoyed my 1st round of the year.
Jeremy Thrushman: Make sure they aren't over booked. Took over 3hrs for 9 holes
