Susan M.: It's like a mini Greenfield Village in Troy, MI. I first visited decades ago as a student (not from terrible Troy School District), so it was fun returning as a parent. It's good for spending a few hours or just killing time between activities. My kids thought school during the Pioneer days were much better than awful current day Troy.During covid, they had life sized first responders and healthcare mannequins outside that were a bit too realistic and scary at night.
Maxwell “Max” Castiglione: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
Tamara Knapp: Chaperoned a second grade field trip. The kids really enjoyed themselves and learned a lot. They started by learning how homes were made and how to make candles - they each got to hand dip candles to take home. Then they leaned about a day in the life of a student and used personal chalk boards and read from books then ended at the school with eating at the olden desks. They then visited an olden store that held a mercantile, post office, pharmacy, and more. They leaned how few items children of their age had back then and each got to make a toy.

Blaine Nickeson: We visited the museum with the hope of learning more about the neighborhoods we had been staying in and driving through. The exhibits that the museum had were mostly well done and useful. But I found the lack of any relevant material and context for the last 50 years of Detroit’s history to be a disappointment. Why are all these neighborhoods vacant? Tell us more. I have a degree in history - this left me wanting more info.
Keith Zendler: I've visited the museum since I was a kid. It's been years, but it's better than ever. I mistakenly think of Detroit's glory days as starting with the auto industry, but so not true!Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry Free …More

Tuskegee Airmen National Museum: what do users think?
Jason Gibbs: This is a small but very well done area within the Charles Wright Museum. Lots of information presented in an easy to understand way. Interesting artifacts and even a Morgan Freeman narration!
C Shannon: I was a little confused at first, since we were looking for this exhibit thinking it was it's own building, but it's part of the Charles H. Wright Museum, which was a great find! We loved this exhibit and the others within the museum. Well worth the money if you're visiting the other exhibits too.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $21–30 …More

Hawraa Nagi: I went here on a Field trip with Dearborn Schools. It was a learning experience for the students. It remanded me of a very smaller version of what the Greenfield Village offers. They have a home set up of what it looked like many many years ago and it gave the students a first hand view of things. They even got to learn about the different types of crops they grew as well as how to make butter! The final moment of the trip was a little history on a variety of artifact they had in the basement of the museum. They also got to expierence first hand what it was like to go to school in the past as well. Great insight for our students to learn about.
Dawn Mari Collom: Wonderful experience. So much history and so many relics. Very much worth it.

It helps put the history of our (the Metro Detroit area) in perspective. A period home giving a window to the past. Hopefully to build a better future by knowing the past.

Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society: what do users think?

Chris M: This is my precinct voting branch. I also enjoy looking at the military memorabilia being retired military. Sorry to hear that it's closing down. Seems like anything traditional is dismantled over time, like we don't care because it doesn't give instant gratification or notariety because it praises someone else.
Nathan Wolschleger: The timelines are fun and I love the museum.
Ken Howlett: A cute little museum focusing on military history concerning Michigan, including those that served, Michigan manufacturing, and the civilian defense services. A beautifully curated collection displayed well. Definitely worth the visit if you are interested in Michigan history.
Onyx Dragon: Excellent museum overall within SE Michigan. A great staff and an excellent place for presentations, meetings, and gaming. Be sure to attend the Museumfest event, held 2-3 times per year.
Sandy Delancey: I donated many items from my uncle's there. I was amazed at the history. God bless bless the museum. So accommodating and beautiful displays.God bless America and our freedom.
Jim McCoy: It's kind of a smaller museum but it highlights subjects that most other museums don't. The exhibits on gold star families and Rosie the Riveter are awesome.
rklewis2: If you're into military history, the museum is worth the trip.
Brett D 313: Wonderful museum
Михаил Медведев: Very good place to visit. Staff was professional and told really interesting stories about the museum and history. Strongly recommended to visit.
kirnalcandy 96: Best place EVER!!! Amazing stories and amazing staff. Lots of different exhibits. A small museum with a big heart.
Nancy J. Zajac: This Museum is a great gem in southeastern Michigan. It tells the great story of the Arsenal of Democracy in Detroit. Chris shows us the best of the Wars and you wouldn't be disappointed. As a member, you will see the many guest speakers who come to this great museum. They even have a Rosie the Riveter display. Please visit them.
William G. Clift: Great place! Just go!
Beve Mcclanahan: Just fine.interesting.
Craig: Great place
Michael Santos: Fascinating, historical gem in Eastpointte. Had no idea I his place existed. Must see local museum!!!
VBam: Amazing help from the MIMTHS on completing an elective for the Cub Scouts. Truly great people, lots of info and items. Will definitely go back!
Paul Collins: Loved it!!
Dylan Soucy: Amazing little museum with cool weapons, POW art, and more. Definitely worth the stop!
Rocky DeBose: Good place to visit for Veterans
Cardi DeMonaco: Alysa and I have visited this museum many times, and there is always something new to learn and discover. Today we visited for a Labor Day ringing of bells for the Rosies. There were seven original Rosies in attendance, and a chapter is now run out of the museum.Anyone interested in learning about the military in Michigan, Eastpointe's NASA astronaut Jerry Linenger, or observing artifacts from many different wars, will enjoy this museum. It's a great destination in Eastpointe and I'm happy they are a part of the community.

Alex Bernetich: Lovely museum with a lot of information on the city of Plymouth. I did some research in the archives on a property I recently purchased. I called ahead to tell them what I was researching and when I would be visiting, and everything was ready for me to review when I arrived. There were dozens of ownership records, newspaper clippings, and photographs dating back to the 1800s. Pam was extremely helpful, and it's evident that she is very passionate about what she does. I will definitely be back!
S M: Definitely a hidden gem! The museum store has lot of vintage stuff. The prices are fair as well! The staff are very friendly! Great experiences!
Bill Green: nothig worth seeing i could make abetter museum ojut of the contents of my garbage
Buffy Lind: Beautiful, well maintained surprise in Plymouth. It's big enough to cover many areas of interest but small enough to take in everything in an hour or two. The locomotive is such a wonderful addition. The changing focus ( the 70's were featured when we went) keeps the museum always intriguing. Please do you & your family a huge favor and visit this incredible gem on Main Street in Plymouth.
Kiran Lenz: A true hidden-gem within the Plymouth-Canton area. Not only is it a great place to visit for a museum experience, but they have special events throughout the year. Also an incredibly fun venue to host children's birthday parties - value is fantastic and very welcomingly different from the usual "Chuck-E-Cheese" type experience.
Brett Wilson: Excellent museum and well managed! My family has been coming for years now and our visits are always a pleasant experience.

kurt rundel: I drove 39 miles to go to the Automotive Hall of Fame. I checked the website for hours before I left. It said they were open Thursdays between 10-6. On Thursday 12/29/22 I arrived at 10:30 and they were not open. I called the number from the front window and no one would answer. The front window had the same hours as the website. Luckily the Henry Ford Musem was open and my drive was not a waste, although my son, daughter and I had been looking forward to seeing the Hall of Fame Museum. When we left Henry Ford around 2PM the Hall of Fame was open but we were out of time. I will not make this drive again unless I have tickets in hand and I know someone will be there to open the door. Very disappointed.
Robert Hill: If you're any age or level of automotive enthusiasm, the Automotive Hall of Fame is a must see. The entry fee is cheap, and the entire presentation is absolutely beautiful. Our docent was named Tony Cafaro, and he was a true professional. Tony was very friendly and knowledgeable. He literally took time to make sure we understood everything we looked at. People like that are hard to come by, and it added to our enjoyment. I would recommend visiting the Hall of Fame if you're anywhere near there. You won't be disappointed!

Bob Sears: This is a good place to stop and learn about the people that made modern automotive transportation possible. The staff was extremely friendly and will tell you its not a car museum. It a great place if you like reading the signs. I wouldn't recommend this for small children. I had a couple extra hours to burn and this was well worth it for me. There were only a few cars in the museum. I was able to see most of it in two hours.
Katrina Fleishans: It was a very informative museum recommended for adults. It will satisfy the car enthusiasts as it is about the history of automotive in general.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10 …More

Sharon Compton: Very educational. Great history here!
stephanie marie: neat place!
Randall Joy: As they say when you walk in the door; this is not an auto museum. It certainly isn't. It is in fact a marginally maintained "hall of fame" with many displays in need of maintenance or outright repair, missing items and most of it's most notable displays on loan from the Henry Ford next door. For the low entry fee it's not a bad value and you can find enough to do to make up for the small size. I can't imagine it would be very good for children.
Titis Aggreh: Good people and they do a good job and treat you well
Devon Moore: I just wanna say that more people should visit this awesome informative place.... No it's not filled with cars (tho there are some cars and other early motorized transportation pieces on display), but it's filled with awesome history and information that is of value to anyone who's into anything in the automotive industry, hobbyists especially.... The stories of where all these big names started was very intriguing... The staff was also super friendly and i could tell the gentleman that got us started is very passionate and i love that! Thanks for a great time!
Glen Kurz: Very nice very clean. Neat too see all the old stuff
mauricio magdaleno: Interesante lugar para aprender la historia de la industria automotriz, lamentablemente esta muy solo era el único visitante mientras el museo de aun lado estaba repleto
