Jamieson Brown: Extremely mixed review on my end. Glassman and their service team were very prompt and quick with replacement on my recalled engine. From diagnosis, to getting the part, to replacement took no longer than a week. I was grateful for this.After the engine replacement, tons of issues I've never dealt with before. These issues are stated to be electrical, and thus not covered under my "extended warranty" which is obviously annoying to hear. Not to mention, another mechanic just informed me that they forgot to put a part BACK IN MY VEHICLE.They deemed it to be 2-3 parts and estimated me a 2-3k$ repair after a free engine replacement. They also did not accurately inform me of said electrical issues, I've recently learned one of these issues are extremely dangerous to be operating the vehicle with which was NOT disclosed to me, or in my paperwork. I've attempted going back for a repeat service, but they won't do anything as the parts aren't covered under the extended warranty.You, as a company glassman, have the 2-3k$ you're estimating me to replace the issues YOU CAUSED in my vehicle. There is 0-0.5% chance that these issues started IMMEDIATELY after you replaced my engine and it's just "timing". You are responsible, you guarantee your service and work right? Therefore you should be replacing these parts. I am baffled that you would even let me drive off the lot with my car in the shape it's in. ESPECIALLY since it came out of the shop with immediate issues that weren't apparent at the time of check in.
Adam Bordoley: The service department is the absolute worst. Had my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport being repaired for 8 months (July - March). Once I got it back, I decided to change dealers to the Troy. They actually know how to fix cars there and satisfy customers.
Paul Taros: Don't expect them to honor the car warranty, even on a car with less than 20,000 miles and one year left time wise. They are everything wrong with car dealers.

gina strzelecki: I have been have ac problems with my car. My local mechanic tried to figure out the issue but his scan couldn't figure it out. He told me it was probably an electrical issue and that I should try going to the dealership for Hyundai because they would know the car better then him. I scheduled an appointment that was two weeks out. I finally get to the appointment date and bring my car in. I told them the run down that my mechanic looked at my car and he thinks it's electrical. Ralph, one of the associates at glassman told me it was probably my compressor. I told him that my mechanic said the compressor was running fine. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they are a Hyundai dealer and should know what's best.They kept my car for two days to run a diagnosis ($200). They came back and told me that my compressor was going out. Even though I was skeptical I took their word for it because they should know best. Instead of getting the compressor through them (over $1500) I went to my local mechanic to get it done for cheaper. My mechanic was also skeptical but took my word for it. They got the compressor in only to find out that was not the problem and my ac is still not working. I called glassman and politely tried to reason with them. They told me they would have to charge me another $200 for another diagnosis.I am now down $1100 for something that wasn't even the problem and they are trying to charge me more for something they shouldve got right in the first place. Those two days I missed work and money. I'm not sure what I'm going to do past this point but I forsure will never come back to this dealership. I advise caution to fellow consumers.

SubarashiiCookie: Good place to buy cars, maybe not the best to get it serviced.I brought my car in because there’s a jingling noise in my air conditioner that has been driving me crazy for a couple years and my clutch had been stuttering. After having my car for about an hour they said “that’s just how your dual clutch transmission is”. I got the paperwork and they had combined my two separate issues into some random issue that I was not even experiencing (clicking when shifting; if they even checked it, they would know it wasn’t) and told me it was normal. Felt very unheard, ignored, and dismissed.
V Lovely: I HAPPILY stumbled across the wrong Glassman building when I was looking to lease a Kia, and met Ramon H! Ramon is polished; he made sure I was comfortable, and helped me find a vehicle for an affordable price! Ramon's charm and harmonious blend of comedy and proficiency made this THE BEST experience I have EVER had with buying a vehicle. Sandy Hamilton: I drop my vehicle off to them on March 15, 2023. I picked up my vehicle that Friday, March 17, 2023.. when I picked up my vehicle, I was told that the issue was fixed that I dropped my car off for, today my car did the exact same thing that I pay this dealership to fix. So I did my due diligence and I called the technician who was responsible for my car, I called the manager of services who was extremely rude and very disrespectful to me . I had no other choice but to call the owner of the dealership(Michael Glassman) the owner of the company was just as much incompetent as the manager of service, I was treated extremely poorly by the manager and disrespected. The owner of the company was much kinder, but he told me the exact same thing. I do not recommend this dealership to a group of certain people…….

Alex: After providing my make and model they quoted me 69.99 for a full synthetic oil change. When I drove in they asked me to sign off on an extra $10 "service charge" (no other dealers have this fee). When I got my car back they changed the total to over $100 (which I never signed off on). They took the price back down to 70 as a one time courtesy but beware this dealer is very dishonest about their pricing even quoting you incorrectly over the phone. Otherwise the service was fairly quick and they provide free car washes.

Had vehicle for over 9 hours for oil change, and brakes.Two times before this they had my vehicle for over 6 hours for oil change and tire rotation. Made appointment each time. Employees are very nice but the time it takes to get car serviced is very poor.

I spoke to Marlon, who said he would assist me. Marlon was wonderful. Easy to talk to, fun, and kind. He had the vehicle waiting for me when I arrived. Once I completed my test drive and got down to buying business, it was smooth sailing. Marlon, Boris, and Eric all made the process easy. There was no "hard sell." I didn't feel like I was getting fleeced. (But I also did my research before I went in and knew the market for the vehicle I was there to see.) I may have sent out a few "Shooter McGavin-style" finger guns as I skipped out happily with the car I wanted. Huge thanks to everyone at the dealership for making what can sometimes be a stressful experience pretty laid back. Next time I'm in the market for a vehicle, I'll definitely check out their website first. (Maybe I'll drive a Hyundai next time. Some of those cars looked NIIIIICE!)

The service team was very professional and polite, however, there was an additive included with my oil change that I was not aware of that did result in an up charge. If you are there to get an oil change I would recommend specifying that you are not interested in any additives to your oil change and you expect the baseline price.

They submitted a PO to Hyundai, who offered to cover 70% of the job and sent me to SUBURBAN COLLISION for the paint job.At the collision centre, my estimator, Micheal Rubenhurst SAID HYUNDAI SENT THEM THE ENTIRE AMOUNT COVERING THE COST OF THE JOB AND I WOULD PAY NOTHING. I ASKED FOR PROOF, reminding them of the 70-30 split. HE GAVE ME A DOCUMENT mentioning the entire amount and ASSURED ME I PAY NOTHING. I proceeded to book the appointment and consented to the work on my car under the understanding that I would have to pay NOTHING.AFTER THE JOB IS DONE, I AM TOLD I OWE $1000THEY MADE A MISTAKE in saying I owe nothing and showing me what was actually the PO, as proof.1. I consented to paying 0$. I was refused my car until $1000 was paid over a mistake by the collision centre.2. While I was trying to coordinate between dealership and collision centre to sort out their mistakes, they kept my car and threatened that the car needed to leave the lot by the end of the week, trying to get me to pay immediately.

Arthur Stepanyan: Pretty miserable experience from the time you schedule a service appointment at least a month in advance to a service manager that loves to talk over you instead of listening and , most importantly working on the car.Got a call that car is ready, came the next day to pick it up only to find the car has a strong case of cylinder misfiring.Explained in detail that means the car is not finished and got a call from a service manager 2 days later stating I refused to pick up a car that works and threatened to charge storage fees.2 days later went to pick up a now working car ( spark plugs gap was the issue), no apology or even acknowledgment of their negligence and mistakes.Definitely will not return

Pratik Dighe: I had my Hyundai Sonata serviced for a well known warranty issue of steering coupler. It’s a small rubber coupling between the column and power steering motor, which wears off with time. I dropped my car to get it replaced as it was fully covered under warranty. I still got charged for labor. To unhook the wiring underneath the steering column it took 1.5 hours for them. Funny thing is the customer representative who called me to confirm the work order and then to confirm work was completed; the time span between the calls was less than 1.5 hours. And also they did oil change in same time.With inflation I understand rates have gone up for everything. But Hyundai shouldn’t loose trust of loyal customers.
kateryna lining: I want to especially highlight Michael Preece for being the most informative, kind , open and honest sales person ever. My husband and I were possibly looking into purchasing a vehicle while my car was in the shop to determine it’s fate. And Michael really touched me with his kind and attentive attitude to helping us possibly find something that was in our price range. My vehicle that I currently have did get fixed and at this time I am not purchasing but when I will be looking I will definitely consider Michael and Hyundai as my first option. Just a great car company as well as a fantastic person to represent and sell for them. I honestly cannot say enough of how good of an experience we had with him and to still walk away and feel like we were valued and not just simply looked at as dollars signs, unlike some other car dealers in the Troy motor mall.

That charge was to be $179.00. I understand the cost of labor and overhead..but I also understand that it takes years to build customer loyalty and seconds to loose that loyality.
Linda Daleo: I would like to commend Chris Lange the Service Director at Suburban Hyundai of Troy.Last fall I brought my Sante Fe for a wiper pump issue and it was diagnosed, fixed and I was out the door in less than an hour, no charge!Chris was very precise in all aspects of the issue, I highly reccommend SUBURBAN OF TROY Hyundai Dealership as compared to Elder Hyundai who several times wouldn't even try to help me with my vehicle unless I had an appointment or some other excuse. Kitty Groeller: I bought my first, brand new, car here - a 2023 Hyundai Venue - with Keith and Andre in February. The process was extraordinarily smooth, they explained every step, and were extremely transparent with me from the get-go. We got along great, Keith even handled the back-and-forth that us Wolverines and Spartans get into sometimes. :)The only issue I had came after the fact (and involved a third party) so I won't remove stars for this. It took an extremely long time to get the permanent plate mailed to me in Lansing. I was assured that I would receive it within 14 days, and if not, to call the dealership. I didn't receive the plate, so I called, and was very persistent with Keith and Andre that I needed the permanent plate since my temporary plate would expire within the next two weeks. It took many calls and check-ins across days 14-25 to eventually discover that the plate was never processed until the Friday (day 23) before it would expire on the Sunday (day 25). I did receive the permanent plate on Monday (day 26), after the temporary plate had expired.I'm not sure if this is the fault of the dealership forgetting to poke the SoS office, or if the SoS office screwed up despite the dealership's interventions.Regardless, I got the plate and with nearly 1000 miles on my brand new Venue, I'm a happy woman!

I brought my 1year old vehicle for servicing and was informed that a part was required, which still has not arrived to date. As a result, I have been without my vehicle that I have been paying for, and it has caused me immense inconvenience.What's even more frustrating is the fact that the establishment did not offer me a loan vehicle during this period. This has been a major inconvenience for me, especially since I have kids and loads of doctor appointments. I believe that it is unacceptable for a service provider to offer such poor customer service.This is not the first time my vehicle has required major servicing since I purchased it, and I am starting to question the quality of the product. However, my main concern at this point is the lack of urgency and communication from the establishment in resolving this issue. Ashley: Yesterday, I took my 2022 Hyundai Kona for a routine oil change before I am to go on a road trip for my birthday this weekend. I waited for almost an hour and a half for the oil change, and when my car was returned to me, the tire pressure warning light was on. I turned the vehicle off and restarted it, hoping it would reset the sensor and make the light go off. No such luck. I returned to the service desk where the employees laughed at my concern. Amanda took my car to check the tire pressure, was gone with the vehicle for over 20 minutes, and came back to tell me there was nothing she could do. But to go ahead and take my 1800 mile road trip and not worry about the warning light that won't go off. I'm not ok with this nor am I comfortable driving the car. I saved up for 3 years to be able to buy myself a car I wouldn't have to push out of the road a few times a month. I'm really disappointed with how I was treated and the damage done to my new vehicle. I have already sent a message to the Service Manager and I will keep updating this review accordingly.Update: Mike Lowe called me, apologized, and set up a loaner car for me to use. DeeDee even came out to my place of employment and dropped the loaner, and took my vehicle back to the dealership, reassuring me that this would be no cost to me. I'm happy with the solutions Mike offered, his professionalism, and the speed at which all of this is being done. I will update and amend my review when I receive my vehicle.I have received my vehicle, driven over 50 miles, and have had no dash lights come back on. Julian, the technician who serviced my vehicle, was wonderful. DeeDee, who finished my invoices and paperwork with the loaner, was fantastic and pleasant. I loved the vehicle they lent me for the evening, and I am thoroughly impressed with how this situation was handled. I truly was expecting this to be such a major headache, I was so relieved that Mike and his staff were able to rectify this in time for us to enjoy our trip. I look forward to further interactions with them.
