Myra Talley: Is the fountains open today?
Lucrisha Dinkins: Fun
Lexi Dickinson: Terrible not even open website sucks
Bernard Studier: Great place to be watching the kids in the water very well done Warren
Hyder Baqir: Nice little place with the water for the kids to have fun
Kevin Johnson: Nice place to go on a Sunday afternoon in August.
Judy Juju: Nice place to take the kids and they had jazz at 7
Kim Olsen: Not many vendors at the market. Only 1 veggie stand. Very disappointed.
Kalvin Hang: Not bad. Not bad. Best of all FREE. No Id required!Great water.Park and play. Good job Warren!Even have close bathroom and lifeguard!Wow.Highly recommended!
Michelle Michon: This place isn't much of a splash pad. It could use some repairs and more fountains for sure. It's a convenient place to cool the kids off if it's near you. But basically it's a big puddle to splash in.
Brandie Makie: The fountains are on now.

Viking Ice Arena: what do users think?
Brian Eickholt: Big place. I’ve was good. Easy parking
Leonard Domzalski: Nice rink , good parking
Clare Olson: Only 1 rink with decent seating. If you are in the Pro rink it's awful.
James Hamele: They would get 5 stars if they could get the showers somewhere between scalding hot and freezing cold. It's an older Arena, so with that taken into account, it's not bad.
Sean Hancook: The ice has become nearly unplayable. Worse than a poorly maintained pond. There are waves and bumps throughout the ice from the zamboni which clearly has something wrong with it. The 6inch of yellow dasher boards can barely be seen in the corners meaning there is 4-5 inches of ice piled in. Showers do not drain, some nights they are scalding hot and other nights ice cold.Overall Terrible.
CS V: No Livebarn and a not very inviting rink. Kind of run down. Kids said ice was awful
Richard Rehner: Amazed at how poorly this arena has been maintained. Unbelievably cold in the Pro Rink, boards were missing huge pieces the corners, the goal lines were non-existent from lack of painting, and on and on. It's a shame to have a tournament in a place like this. Gives Detroit area a bad name with teams from out of state.
Love Family: Can the ice conditions at Viking Arena get any worse? @cityofhazelpark refuses help to resolve it. Can’t see any lines (ice is too thick), chattered surface (poor Zam maint.), uneven ice (poor Zam operation), rough ice (cold water). Mgmt sits in office doing nothing. Shameful. The rink is home to at least 2 AAA teams and a High School program. I can’t believe this is deemed acceptable.
Christopher N.: Unplayable ice surface. Maintenance has gone down hill. Dirty restrooms, lobby, benches, stands... Needs some hard work and TLC. Poorly managed. City doesn’t respond for help.
Jason Pedersen: Disappointed no Livebarn...
Amanda Taylor: Great rink! Love the free open skate!
Adrianna pittman: Tried calling no one pick people were rude
Jessica Mansilla: So fun! Nice arena and enjoyed skating.
thomas murphy: No help
antione hackney: The people here were very friendly. It was my daughters first time ever ice skating and everyone was extremely patient with her. I would highly recommend these facilities for anyone who wants a pleasant place to take their family and enjoy the ice.
Carol Gunther: Not the best for spectators. It was freezing inside the rink!! And all spectators sit in low bleachers at one end of the ice so you can't see the action at the far end of the ice.
Michael Detmer: The Pro rink only has 2-3 rows of seating on 1 end of rink, no heat, we all froze during the game. The Olympic rink was down for repairs. All in all, a dumpster fire of a facility.
Jeffrey Asquith: Great
Daryl Gotham: Looks like the Men's Restroom hasn't been cleaned in a month.
Gail Krieger: Nice rinks
Tom Deacon: Great place to play, starting to show her age. Ice is always on great shape.

Big Boy Arena: what do users think?
The Truth 313: Decent food, lot of parking, but due to other games occurring, can be challenging. GO MOTOR CITY ROCKERS!
Cole Mertz: The roller hockey league hosted here is an absolute joke, there is no interest in player safety and teams will take runs at you all night without punishment. Communication with management is one way and unless you manage to track down Mike in person you will be entirely on your own. Now that the league is established the only thing they care about is making a quick buck, Mike couldn’t run a tee ball league with how poorly this is managed.
Dustin Walling: Security wants to yell at a minor because an adult shoved him and they let the adult walk away and the minor gets yelled at, DIDNT say a word to the adult.
Chris Felsner: Treat you like family. Can't wait for the Big Boy's they are building to be finished.
Christopher Bush: Never knew this arena even existed. It's clean, well-maintained, and the seating is at glass height on their priority arena, which also has a bar. It was awesome enough stopping by just to watch some beer league, I'm really excited to come back to watch an actual game sometime.
Michael Colburn: Great hockey facility...concession area food and seating is awesome
Michael LaRue: Does it perhaps show its age at times? Sure, but this is the Mecca of hockey in Macomb County. They have multiple ice rinks inside, as well as an in-line rink. The Big Boy Arena itself is a nice venue with enough seating to hold a minor league hockey team (and I’m kinda surprised that there aren’t more events here - Such as wrestling like they had once upon a time…) Would be nice if there were a few more concession areas and bathrooms but there probably need to be more people showing up to Rockers games first (which, by the way, are a great time with the family.)
CS V: Decent rink. Kids said the ice was good.
Gary Scheerbaum: Great venue.
Erin Angliss: The bar (Slapshots) upstairs in the priority rink also has magnificent staff and has an awesome Apple pie shot.
Top Notch Balloon Creations: I had the pleasure of providing a balloon arch here. The place is amazing and the super friendly staff went over and beyond to accommodate me.
Diana Wasaanung'gokwe Seales: Great spot for hockey tournaments
Mario D: Good place
Ariel Dudeck: This place is super awesome. I feel like it's just like being at a wings game. There's tons of kids stuff to do, kids games and events all the time happening there. It even has a bar. I will definitely be taking my kids here again we had a blast.
Dwayne Reed: Wonderful experience watching 8 year olds play hockey. More enjoyable than watching adults.
William Yekin: Friendly staff!
Joe B: The roller hockey league is being run with just enough interest to make money. Mike is too afraid to lose players in an effort to promote fair and honest play.I appreciate that it's a business, but the purpose of a house league is for individuals without a team to be able to sign up and play. Instead, Mike allows teams that have been together for 20 years to demolish teams of guys who just met.
Rex Khronic P: Cool place, large arena. Would like to frequent to watch hockey! The concession and beer pricing is high but to be expected. One star short for two reasons:1.) The speakers were blown out and sounded TERRIBLE (or whoever was running the mixing board had the EQ out of whack to the point the music playing just sounded like extremely loud static.)2.) $5 for a cup of beer… they should be like $3 because it’s only like an 8oz cup.
Damien Butler: Great Box Lacrosse venue.
Alexander Bjorne: Went back and had a great experience!

Mount Clemens Ice Arena: what do users think?
Danielle M: No supervision for teens at open skate. Witnessed fighting, horseplay and lots of inappropriate language. Didn’t feel comfortable having my younger child alone on the ice.
Christopher Bush: Decent arena with two rinks. Locker rooms aren't fantastic, come prepared for that.
Clare Olson: Terrible seating. Expect to stand if you want to really watch a game.
Isabelle Clayton: Ice is always great and rink is well maintained. Nick and his team do an excellent job!
Matt S: I feel the need to post the public review due to a specific situation. Jan 2023 after years of spending time on the ice here for lessons, open skate and even playing hockey at this facility I am well aware that it is managed and run by teenagers. The fact is I am writing this review while sitting on the bleachers because at 38 years old i felt the need to remove myself from the ice during open skate. A group of teens (from lance cruise middle school central) were attempting to jump a single, 13-year-old boy, after making fun of him for struggling to stay on his feet because it was (only) his second time trying to skate. I stepped between them in an attempt to de escalate the situation however the group proceeded to get in MY (adult) face in an attempt to get me to fight THEM (the kids). The packed arena atrium watched as they backed me up to the desk were I demanded they be removed from the facility (as these teens have been removed from the ice multiple times in the weeks proir). The manager (a teen himself) stated that unless they witness them injure someone they would not remove him. That being said there is no control over the crowd and no adults present during open skate. This also makes me question what system is in place if an emergency happens at the arena as there is never a single adult present during evening public events.
David Werth: Seating is terrible on rink #2
Elizabeth Scheuer-Murphy: 2 sheet arena. They have hockey and figure skating and open skating. The bigger arena could have been set up a little different. Hard to watch as a spectator when the teams are in front of you. You can't see in the corners near the benches at all because of players. They have a concession stand and a small pro shopMain arena needs new speakers
Ryan Ranocchini: Fun place for free skate. Place starts out clean (before the crowd messes up the place). Maintained facilities with Friendly staff. I would recommend visiting here! Great place to learn to ice skate!
Jeff Dellach: I have held private ice for hockey since the rink opened 28-years ago. Ice is always great and rink is well maintained. Nick and his team do an excellent job!
Dan Adams: Very nice and clean ice rink!
Ronald Ford: Had a great time, very friendly atmosphere
Nadezhda Mikhailova: Хорошее местечко для веселья. Чисто.
Sean Preston: Great arena for hockey games.
William Perry: Great arena's
Maria Chaux: Nunca había estado, me ha gustado y me he divertido viendo a los chicos jugar.
Rick Pascany: Enjoyed watching Learn to Skate on Saturday with my grand daughter participating!
steve sevonty: Played a lot of hockey at alot of places, this is one of the nicest cleanest facilities around
Sarah Wodzisz: Nice arena.
Tony B: One of the better hockey rinks.
Robert Cesario: Nice facility, and the ice is in great shape.

Grosse Pointe Community Ice: what do users think?
Cliff at Monergy Solutions: Great place, well maintained. Been going there for years to play hockey. Great time.
Renee Walburn: Run down rink, no nets to protect you from fly pucks, concession stand girl horrible attitude!!!Clean bathroomsGood pretzels
Lime Creek Outdoors: Worst place ever.
Steve Mouton: Great place for hockey and community
Michael Stan: Great to have this arena in our area! Learn to skate with the young Bulldogs, figure skate or play adult hockey. The arena is clean, and they are still following covid guidelines so don't expect to stand around at the end of the arena or fill your water bottle in the filtered drinking fountain. This location is very easy to get too not far away from i94, tucked in behind McDonalds.
Ethan Gradowski: Good ice. Decent heat. Cute zam girl.
Joe Mitchell: Nice little rink. Great place to practice your dangles and snipes.
Jeremy Gould: Friendly staff and well kept rink. Cleaner than many other small local rinks. They do have a snack bar and small pro shop on-site.
Doktor Detroit: Good ice, decent locker rooms.
Geoffery Smith: Great place to skate and watch my daughter play. It’s great because of the heated watch area on the side, but that gets packed quickly on practices and games. Also the snack bar is only open sometimes on games and the vending machines have expired stuff. However, in my experience that’s pretty typical.
Paige Templeton: It’s pretty good now. Nothing to write home about. There is ample space around the outside to sit and watch where it is warm.
Brian Hamlin: Much improved old barn. Beware of home cooking from the refs if you are the visiting team. : )
Julian Trevino: Ice was good. Older rink and snack bar closed (UPDATE: the snack bar is open on a semi regular basis now!)
M B: Nice
Paul: Older rink. Snack bar with drinks, chips, cookies. No protective netting around glass boards. Slippery stairs in bleachers.
Frank Sherry: Nice rink. It has gotten a lot better since the foundation bought it. The concession stand is never open.
Pa Cor: Decent rink.. not many amenities
Joe V: Staff is very accommodating
Charles Willis: Out dated
Geoff Donaldson: This rink is now the East Side Hockey (ESH) Ice Arena. The foundation has done a great job and the improvements keep coming!
Akeem Qualls: Its a cool place

Suburban Ice Rochester: what do users think?
Elias Matta: Teenager instructors with no idea on how to handle little kids. Not good for 1st time on rink, save your money until they are more advanced.
Dan Tom: Always a great place to play some hockey. Suburban of Rochester has come a long way the last few years. Game times are being scheduled sooner and schedules are being made in advance. This place will always be the Onyx to me but the staff have done a great job getting reorganized.
Hockey Mom 7: Great Rink! Super staff and concessions.
Sebastián Miranda: Fun place, really big!! And public skating was on the cheaper side 10$ without skates!
Michael Colburn: Great ice rink facility and very clean/comfortable
Richard Pokrefky: I've been playing Ice hockey here for several years now and have joined a few open skates. Staff is always friendly and ice conditions are near perfect.
Tim Zartman: Great place , new on the ice but had fun
Clyde Alexander: Nice rink (3) for ice hockey.
Shameem Plenty: Friendly people great skate
Scotlon Murdoch: Super not nice front desk adult workers!!!! Very rude.
Brian Zientak: Miss the old name. The arena itself is nice enough. 3 NHL-sized rinks. Ice is pretty well maintained for the most part. The facilities themselves could use a few updates but maybe the new ownership will do that.
Andrea Trupiano: Nice facility. Good parking and nice concession.
Chad Irvin: I'm usually here for hockey, but this week here for figure skating and the rink has done a great job.
Chris Murphy: Always like going here.
Jason McClanahan: Best ice in Michigan. Rink almost always runs on schedule. Tom runs balanced leagues. The arena is the cleanest rink around and that is super important during these times.
Sullivan Stutts-Miller: Good ice, could work on less chips in the ice.
D L: POOR RESTROOM PRIVILEGES FOR CERTAIN VISITORS!!! NO HOSPITALITY TO AND FOR EVERYONE!!!😡😡😡😡😡
Thomas Zagacki: favorite b/c, I work here, just like home... best of !
JB: Great sheet of ice. Well organized to keep everyone safe. Just a class outfit.
Tom Jewett: No seating for fans
Alyssa Bieszk: Can someone let me know how much it is for open skate

Novi Ice Arena: what do users think?
Dan G: Great friendly coaches.
pankaj: Nice place for ice skating. Check in was easy and swift. Helpfuk staff.
Djman66: I went here with several friends for open skate and we had a blast! Its $5 for 2 hours which is a great deal, $5 more for skate rentals; and the quality of the rink, employees, and snack dispensers are all high tier!
Seth Fisher: We've had 2 birthdays now at Novi, and we'd do it every year if we could get away with iThe staff is incredible, were wonderful with the kids and us. Also the rental skates are really good quality(!!!). That alone makes such a huge difference in how much our guests enjoyed themselves. All the parents have a blast.Only complaint is now all their kids want to start skating, and skating leads to hockey, and hockey leads to hockey bags, and hockey bags lead to hockey bag smell. Figure if you live in Michigan that's bound to happen anyways. At least here we have an awesome local rink.
Michael Roullier: Nice place.
Mr.Blade Crazy: it’s a fun place to skate and play hockey
joe jackson: Had a great time with family watching my nephew play hockey. Concessions were good, restrooms clean, good parking and warm areas to enjoy the game if you don't like the bleachers.
Curt Gottler: Good rink, but they haven't had weekend open skates for years. They ought to wake up.
jia zhigang: Very nice.I love here.
Nancy Minella: Love watching my grandson playing hockey. Nice arena BUT cold. Bring a blanket
Jill Marie: A very nice ice arena
Vikas Upmanue: My daughter enjoys this place for her sketing lesson.
Jason Pedersen: Great views for fans
Dares378: The pro shop workers are incredible! 10/10 would buy from the pro shop again.
Dan Adams: Very nice and clean rink!!
sixstringslaya: Nice rink. Rental and open skate prices are very reasonable. However the rental skates I got my daughter were in need of a sharpening
Denny Rosinski: Very warm for an ice rink.
Chris P.: Great arena with great staff. My daughter loves ice skating here! Would recommend to everyone.
Robin Fulton: Facility is fine, but no one ever answers the phone. There is very limited freestyle ice that can accomodate working parents. Management could be improved.
Alexander Petrov: Great rink! Two ice surfaces, good quality ice, friendly staff. Not as terribly cold as some other rinks out there
Viviana Veber: Our 3 year old has been taking lessons here for 2 sessions now and she has improved dramatically in 6 weeks. She is no longer afraid of the ice. Coach Jaquelyn is so nice and I think she really encouraged our daughter in excelling.
