Carrie Schochet: I would strongly advise against working with Michigan Irrigation. They did the basics for me for a couple of years. This year, my system had a leak, which they didn't detect when they started my system in the spring. They came out a couple of weeks later and instead of diagnosing the problem, which was a main line issue, they worked on the valves. That is where the problems just began. They were wearing very dirty boots and instead of using the common sense to remove them when they entered my home, they tracked in mud all over a very nice rug. They left a huge mess both in the home and in the yard, as the leak continued. I had to take the rug to a professional carpet cleaner, which ended up costing over $100 and I received a bill from Michigan Irrigation for $120, for nothing. I called them and gave them an opportunity to resolve the situation, and they refused to come back out. We ended up finding another reputable company who was able to fix the problem very quickly and efficiently. Very poor experience in all areas.

David: I recently moved into a new home with an inground sprinkler system. The timer is extremely old and not very user-friendly. I contacted the person the previous owner had used but once he arrived he informed me he had no idea how to use or set the timer. So I contacted several other companies and either they were unavailable, unwilling or didn't return my call at all. Not only did Chris call me back but he called me on the holiday (Memorial Day) and was willing to come out that day. I was unable to have him do that because of my work schedule so he suggested that I call him late that evening (after 10pm) when I got home from work and he would walk me through how to set the timer over the phone. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he has now earned a new lifetime customer! I truly appreciate his willingness to help. Adam Lee: Offered almost every payment method under the sun and he said we aren't that fancy and proceeded to charge a card fee without my permission because they dont accept anything but card I guess so that was annoying and shady. But they were also a bit rude that I wasn't an expert on irrigation because they were too lazy to go down the basement and do their job I paid for. I was afraid to do something in the wrong order and contaminate the system I have no clue that's why I hired them. He says hey I just heard that you don't know how to shut off your own water or something condescending like that. My neighbors use a different company I will probably stick with them. Better price and service.

Bhar Yerr: Highly unprofessional. Rob is very unprofessional and I am paying $200 for a 30 min job to add a spigot that he attached and that doesn’t do what I want to do. First they should assess what the customer wants before doing something and asking the customer to keep watering the whole lawn whenever he has to use the spigot. That is not a solution. Just asking clarifying questions on what I should be doing is bad.. telling him that it was not the solution I wanted but I will still pay him is bad. I paid $200 for a job that doesn’t do what I want. Even after I am paying for what he has done and not what I want Rob calls us names when we are not even arguing and storms off. Should he fired. Don’t do business with these guys. I should have read the reviews. If they were not sent by my regular sprinkler guy (because they were busy) I will never hire Rob

Anthony Bommarito: The negative comments are not entirely true. While we cannot give an exact time as is the case in most service companies, we do give a window. Sometimes the technicians will run early or late. We have no control on what we find when arriving at a home or business to service.
Christopher Spanos: Been using them for years and always on time or earlier which is also good. Work done correctly and quickly usually get the same guys for open installation and for closing and blow outs. Good service!
