I was very disappointed to say the least. I contacted E-bay to let them know I had received counterfeit jewelery from their seller. The seller contacted me and was very upset. I had already opened a case with E-bay, which negatively reflects on the seller. I was told I better get a second opinion.I went to American Jewelery and Loan, in Detroit to have them appraise the bracelet again. They appraised my Helzberg diamond bracelet at $599.00, and it was real. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed by the gentlemen behind the counter at Green lane Jewelers. If this is your everyday job, you should be able to tell the difference by paying close attention to detail.I did take in to consideration that we just had catastrophic flooding back on 8/11/14 and I am sure he was one of the many businesses/residents that incurred damage. However, I went in 9/4/14 and I feel he should have been a little more attentive and professional. I really hope you pay better attention in the future. I almost took your word and ruined the reputation of an avid seller.Kimberly

The most recent blow, I'm not even sure what I did, removed the corner of one of the four prongs holding the stone in place. If I ran my finger over the prong I could feel it catch.Mount-N-Repair has been my jewelry repair spot for many years now and they let me know all of my prongs needed to be re-tipped. Over time, the metal tips of the prongs get worn down and eventually lose the ability to secure your stone properly. Just looking at the ring, I knew they were right. A week later, the ring looks like the day he slid it on my finger! An excellent experience as always!

I was peering through the window and saw a young lady with a customer but two other gentleman just roaming behind the counter…. Then I decided to press it three times because I thought maybe it was broken or something and she finally buzzed us in. Once we were inside the store everyone was staring, no one greeted us and they continued as if we were not there…. I immediately turned to my fiancé and said “oh no…this is not the store for us”. I was walking out and the door was locked, I said out loud.. “ can you let me out of here” and she opened the door still to this day not one person acknowledged our presence. Long story short if you are BLACK do not go to this jeweler!

I stopped by, tested my pocketwatch and sure enough my pocketwatch was working again.This past week, I brought in my vintage Pulsar watch. I had lost the crystal face on the watch. The gentleman took a look at the watch and said he could fix it but he would need to cut a crystal to fit my watch. I said okay to please go ahead and do it. Three days later, I received a phone call that my watch was ready for pickup. I went to pick up my watch at Fairway Jewelers and sure enough my watch had the crystal face perfectly fitted on.This is a great jeweler. The gentleman here knows his business.I would like to also say that Fairway Jewelers is very reasonably priced and has great customer service.
