have you any Wool?: what do users think?
cherie conley: So so selection. Tight space, smelled a little funny. Lots of visitors however who seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Theresa Lloyd: This is a warm, friendly & just plain fun yarn store. I’m always able to find just the yarn I need for my next project. And they have finished sweaters, hats, shawls & gloves on display that give me lots of ideas for my next projects.I was there today and the staff took the time to patiently walk me through a very difficult sweater pattern. Hands down, this is the best yarn store I’ve shopped at in 50+ years of knitting.
Mitchell Harris: I was referred by a friend, and I'm very thankful. Mel was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am happy to recommend Have You Any Wool.
Dennay Bedard: This is my favorite yarn shop to shop at, hands down. Everyone is always super friendly and knowledgeable, I almost always strike up a conversation with someone while I'm there. The people working are always incredibly helpful, whether I need help finding the perfect yarn or with a technique I brought up being nervous to try; and it's such a cute shop, I love the way the yarns are displayed. It's just a delight every time I walk through the door.
maro bush: Love the shop and their yarn and accessory collection. They always have something fun I want to buy! I stopped in today to buy yarn for a project and didn’t know until I arrived that masks are still required, so heads-up if you’re unable to wear one. Also, check the hours before going because they vary day to day and are closed Sunday and Monday.
Karol Friedman: I received the help I needed to find yarn for a dream project
Cathy Zahn: It's been awhile since I had the pleasure of visiting Bridget's shop...that being said I can't imagine how anyone could give her or her shop a less than perfect review. Her teachers were amazing teaching me how to expand my knitting skills.
Hillary Morgan: Lovely knit shop! Owner Bridget is helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of yarn, patterns, needles, etc.
Maureen Brady: Melanie was the best. She helped me find my project patterns and showed me a variety of yarns I could use. There was no pressure and she took her time with me. Loved the beautiful yarns I even picked up a couple more projects. Melanie asked if I wanted her to wind my yarn and she did all of them. What a great shop. I highly recommend you go there.
Doris hamilton: Don’t go here to learn how to knit!!!! The teacher, Melanie, was an awful teacher , in my opinion. I took a video and shared it with experienced knitters and they agreed that she mad a simple skill more complicated than necessary and I was very discouraged, since I am new.(I wish I could share the video on this review but it doesn’t allow it ) I usually pick up skills very easily and quickly. The 1 hour cost $40! Afterwards I felt taken advantage of but just left and said nothing.. It’s been a couple of weeks and I’m lost. They haven’t even followed up to see how I’m doing. Insult to injury. I was originally signed up with JoAnns for3-1 hr sessions for $40. But due to Covid 19, all of their classes were cancelled for the rest of 2020. I’m trying to save the rest of you money and aggravation. I’ll wait for JoAnns to start again. Meanwhile I’ll check out learning on YouTube. Wish me luck.
Gloria Connell: The store was clean and organized and the people were friendly and helpful!
Alene G: Nice welcoming warm shop. Good selection of yarn.
Amber Crawford: I tried to ask about the price range on yarns and I had stated I run my own business I gave her a weight and a brand and she said she didn’t understand what I was asking her. I don’t want to spend $25 for a hundred yards of yarn. She was very rude and I will not go here!!!
Phyllis Elder: Beautiful yarn made here.
SHERRY Wisniewski: I love this store!!!!!!
Maddy Allen: Stopped in for the first time today in search of a specific yarn, and not only did I leave with exactly what I was looking for, but I want to come back ASAP! An amazing LYS - very broad selection of fiber and notions, with friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.
jeanette rodgers: Master class A+
Brandie W: My favorite yarn shop!
Granny Squared (HelloKnitty55): Wonderful shop
Lauren Hertz: Nice knowledgeable staff, good yarn selection!
A Robinson (LinaRob): The ladies that run this store are nice, knowledge, and very welcoming. As somewhat of a novice knitter, they've offered great advice and are very patient in their explanations. Good place for beginning fiber artists & great local yarn shop!

Ewe-Nique Knits: what do users think?
cherie conley: Beautiful, peaceful shop with a uniquely curated collection of yarn.
Jesse: I came here when I was in Michigan to see family and stepping into this place felt like I'd walked into heaven. I wish I'd had more time; I could have happily spent an entire day--or two or three--in this store. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the store itself felt really inviting. Best of all, they have an amazing selection of yarn (and books and notions); my only problem was deciding what to get.(I was also thrilled to discover their online store, since I live in another state. I can order the yarns I couldn't afford when I visited, without having to send my sister on a scavenger hunt later. Though I trust she would have had plenty of help from the awesome staff.)
Linda Schultz: Best knitting store ever, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of yarn, kits and supplies.
Audrey Helou: Great selection of quality yarns at reasonable prices. Plus friendly and knowledgeable people on staff.
Jacqui Krauskopf: A very nice yarn shop with friendly people there to help yet not stand over you. So nice!
Emilee Lawrence: I have been shopping at this yarn shop for over 10 years and it is still my favorite place to buy yarn. The staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The shop itself is beautiful and the yarn selection is simply the best.
Breanne O: Wonderful selection and really helpful and friendly staff, I'll definitely be back!
Michelle Filips: Had the opportunity to stop here yesterday. What a delightful experience! The shop is welcoming and lovely, selection is fabulous with a lot of sample garments for inspiration. The staff were very friendly, helping me find what I needed for a project and even printed a pattern in color for me. Will definitely be back if i am in this area again.
Randi Bushman: My favorite yarn store! Great selection of your looking to purchase premium yarn and supplies. The mother and daughter owners are very friendly and willing to help with whatever project your working on.
Janetta Camm: Nice selection, very friendly staff.
Kathryn Ellen Hessnethaler: Patient, kind, and helpful!! I was intimidated to go to “proper” yarn shops after some snooty interactions elsewhere, but not here. Amy went above and beyond due to Covid - met me curbside, then selected yarn choices that worked for my project and brought them out to me. Amazing service - I’ll definitely return.
Victoria Eliason: Helpful, attentive staff. Selection was bountiful, with something to suit all tastes. Pom-poms, notions, books, and other fiber accouterments made it a one stop shop.
Karol Friedman: Eye candy galore. I always enjoy a visit.
Elizabeth Ploog: Cute shop, beautiful colored yarns and wool selection for felting. Kindly and helpful staff, would come back again.
Granny Squared (HelloKnitty55): Wonderful selection and friendly staff, will be back soon
Hilary Guberman: I had the pleasure of wandering into this charming shop while in town visiting..what a lovely selection and Marilyn and Amy both made me feel incredibly welcome! Looking forward to ordering from their website in the future, once I return home.
Rachel Dobson: First time in today. I absolutely loved this shop! The owner was so very kind and helpful. The yarn selection is fantastic. I think the mother/daughter duo should open up a second location in Plymouth 😉.
Kristen Uitenham: I really enjoy going to this yarn shop!!!! I would highly recommend a friend!!! The yarn is well organized, separating the types and brands of yarn by wall cubbies. There is also a great election of yarn they have some of my favorites and some that became my favorites after trying them!! The space is big and give you plenty of space to walk around and has several tables to sit and knit if you so choose. The shop owners and employees are very friendly as well as knowledgeable about knitting and the yarn that they carry. They are very helpful in pointing me in the direction in the kind of yarn that would work best for my projects.
Karrie Steel: Nice, friendly shop with a lot of samples and choices.
Christine Battiste - O'Brien: I have been very happy with this store. I love supporting local. The ladies at this store seem to really know their stuff and are helpful to help find the right dye lots, etc to match what I need.
Beverly Thompson: Great selection, friendly people who make you feel welcome even when you are from out of town and are willing to help you succeed in your project. They are a keeper!

Crafty Lady Trio Inc: what do users think?
Jen Gregg: Very helpful. Lots of lovely yarn. Looking forward to taking a class.
Glenda Camp: Very helpful.
Liz Hunsanger: Beautiful yarn store. Friendly staff, gorgeous yarn selections, plenty of samples displayed to inspire.
Karen Sands: Love the drop in knitting on Wed. Evenings. Great conversation and relaxed knitting.
Rena Wiseman: Dec 24 and I'm in town visiting my mom. It's 12:37pm. Google maps reads that you're open. Sign on door reads you're open 10am-5pm. Unfortunately a wasted trip because lights are out.
Philine Tucker: Fantastic place!
Joshua Sowders: I was in this part of town looking up places of interest; this came up under "yarn" which they have but it's mostly crochet and I'm more into knitting. First time I ever got to hold a skein marked $60 in my hand. While they had some noro and malabrigo the prices seem a little high, the skeins light and the yarn only small sizes.
Beth Folz: Great Yarn store A lot of assortment of yarns good quality yarns and reasonably priced yarns. Lots of patterns and staff is very knowledgeable
sue elwart: Always friendly and happy to help you with color choices...or problems you may be having with a project. Excellent staff...great store
Kenny Minicuci: Amazing store, great location, outstanding service, out of this world product selection, great classes.
Sibylle: Wonderful staff, friendly and very welcoming. Great selection
Jill Messing: This is an amazing yarn shop!! I’ve been going to the Club Trio for 3+ years. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and super friendly! I love how they introduce new patterns and techniques, they host mystery knit alongs, and retreats. Please check it out!
Erika Stewart: Wonderful staff and amazing yarn
Doreen Holderbaum: Always friendly service
Jennifer Schemers: Wow!! The staff was extremely helpful. I loved the huge variety of yarn. I am definitely a return and loyal customer.
Kim Bacon: I went to the store today. Not one person greeted me. There were knitters talking at a table. A young lady was helping another customer. After checking patterns and yarn for about 20 minutes and no one approached me. I left feeling very discouraged. I was hoping to meet some new people and improve my skills.
Judiith Fennig: I have been going to Crafty Lady for 12 years and taking class sometimes 3 times a week. It is by far the friendliest,. All of the teachers are the best and can help solve your mistake . I have made and met a number of great people.
Erika Sweesy: Expensive products and wasn't even greeted or asked if I needed help or had questions
Keith Gomoll: Very homely atmosphere, sales people where very knowledgeable, prices are as expected.
Lydia Wegrzyn: Only 4 stars because they didn't have what I needed. They are pleasant and very helpful so I will go again.
Cindy Arnold: I love this shop. High quality yarns and staff that is so knowledgeable and helpful, regardless of your skill level. Have never felt talked down to here. Yes the yarn is more expensive than your local Craft big box type store. So just know that going in. They have many completed items out of the yarns they carry which allows you to know how something will knit or crochet up. So helpful when you are selecting a yarn for a specific project! Nothing worse than knitting with a yarn you don't like, or a yarn that isn't at all what you want the item to feel like when you are finished!

Woolly & Co.: what do users think?
Yvonne Francis: I love this place. The atmosphere is ssso welcoming!Yvonne
david c: One stop shop for anything you need for your next sewing project! Great staff and the office dogs are so sweet
Colin Ryle: I have been in on multiple occasions and have always left with something cool. I am new to knitting & working up the nerve to take a class. 👍
Lauren Myers: Very cute store, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff!
Dee Mack: Top of the line shop! Perfect for the distinguished shopper. Welcoming vibe to ALL customers.
Barbara Davies: Lots of cool stuff!
Kyrras Conrad: My first time in the store since they moved to Bloomfield. Great store, great stock, great PARKING!! I went in for a fixit appointment, and although the staff person (owner) did not have a mask on when I got there, she immediately and cheerfully put one on when I asked her. Took only a few minutes to fix my problem, and she provided additional welcome instructions as well. Nice people, good experience. Recommend.
Nirvana: Went to the store to get an exchange on yarn that I got as a gift from my daughter, who is a student (was a little stretch for her). I knew it passed the return window by a couple of weeks, was hoping to exchange to a different yarn..got refused, asked to speak to a manager who was in an earshot, she also refused to talk.. I was told she would call me back.. I never got a call back.. left the yarn at the store for them to review.. never heard back..It’s a beautiful store, but the customer service and the attitude was shocking.. would absolutely NOT recommend this place to any of my local friends.. Management need to put customer first policy.. 1 unhappy customer leads to 10..I Hope this might be helpful to some..
Lynn Apel: Great looking store with more yarn and accessories than one could hope for! Delightful experience with the helpful and knowledgeable people who work there. Great store!!
Mr. Scott Just: Good yarn, fine service in the past, but zero empathy or civic responsibility during a pandemic.I was surprised at the lack of any face covering by the owner during our last visit. The staff was complying.I cannot in good conscience support a business owner that puts their staff, customers, and community at risk.
Lisa Langnas: Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Wooly& Co., and the beautiful selection of yarns, I am now able to knit different projects. Aviva, the owner, has created a warm, welcoming environment where anybody can take classes, or just come to relax, socialize and knit. Woolly & Co. is one shop that you need to visit!
renee lerche: Woolly&Company is truly an oasis for people who love yarn and knitting. The owner Aviva Susser and her staff are welcoming and create an environment that supports creativity and community. I have enjoyed the classes and the opportunity to meet other knitting enthusiasts. And, Aviva has chosen to stock amazingly beautiful yarns which I have not seen anywhere else. Woolly&Co. is definitely one of my favorite places in the Detroit area.
Suzie Mitchell: Exquisite yarns, relaxing atmosphere and first rate instruction. A knitters paradise
Kay Ford: Every tine I go to Woolly&Co, I am amazed at the new assortments of yarn present. Aviva and her staff are extremely skilled, committed and fun to be with. Each time I have a question, it is answered in great detail. If you are a Yarnaholic like me, you HAVE to check it out. I promise you won’t be disappointed—one of the nicest yarn shops I’ve ever encountered!!!!
Melissa Berlin: Very friendly helpful staff. Unique yarns . Something for everyone
Zoe Mueller: Cute store, knowledgeable staff, and shop dogs! I can't wait to come back.
Colleen Zematis: Helpful classes. Lots to choose from
Corey Mathes: The basement suite is now a office of the atlas oil company. My apologies to wooly &co. For any inconvenience or misdirection. For atlas oil/ Simon group holdings follow the stairs streetside into the basement suite.... Sorry wooly &co. Not Intentional
lindsey Marr: Wonderful women run this shop and it's always a joy to shop here!
Mike Schultz: Very nice store
Ellen Wilkerson: Good selection of yarn.

It's almost an hour drive out and it's still the first place I think of when I need crafting supplies.

I attached a photo of some things I purchased there!

The ladies were very helpful in helping me and spent time talking what yarns to use for warp and weave. I walked out with a loom, stand and some weaving thread. Looking forward to the weekend class on a floor loom.
Amy Banker: Supplying creativity in a time of worry. Knitting calms the soul.

Michigan Fine Yarns: what do users think?
Beverly Maurer: Michigan Fine Yarns is an incredible shop for all your knitting and crochet needs. This family own business offers a huge selection of fibers, expert help when you need it and personalized service. It is worth a destination drive or an easily placed order through their website. As an avid knitter, this shop is truly 5 stars.

Susan Marty: Wonderful variety of yarns and accessories. Helpful employees. I definitely plan to visit often. 😁
Joli Conley: Swaran is so lovely. She’s gracious and helpful, always with a smile. My aunt and I visited the shop recently and she stayed open late to give us extra time to select our treasures. We then returned a few days later with my daughter and she remembered us and what type of yarn we like. She let us choose yarn from shipments that she hadn’t even unpacked yet! Her son was incredibly helpful in assisting us with shipping our haul back home to FL. Absolutely fantastic experience. They carry yarn that runs the gamut from inexpensive acrylic to luxury natural fibers. There is something for everyone! Grab your project and sit awhile in their lovely shop. They welcome folks to visit and crochet/knit away at their large “family” table. If I lived closer, I’d be there every week. ♥️

I would definitely recommend checking them out!
Lisa Wiest-Phillips: Michigan Fine Yarns is THE place to go for all knitting supplies and lessons to knit, crochet, and more!!! I’m taking lessons and the instruction is top notch!!! The owner, Swaran Dhaliwal, is a passionate knitter and artist. Yesterday I went in with a tangelos mess of a ball of yarn and she took 30 minutes to painstakingly straighten it out and rewind it for me. Her dedication, kindness, expertise, and customer service is beyond compare. I’m so grateful that I found Michigan Fine Yarns to be my place to learn and grow in this exciting new artistic adventure!! Thank you Swaran and Trisha!! Lisa Wiest-Phillips

She also makes each visitor feel welcome to this special community. I love this place! This is a picture of a cowl I made in Swaran’s design.
Connie Varian: I love Michigan Fine Yarns! They never fail in their selection and service. My favorite things about the shop is the variety of sample projects and the friendly and helpful staff.
