Jojo L: I would highly recommend this restaurant for those who love authentic Korean food. Right when you walk in, you are greeted by very kind servers. We did not have to wait long as we went just a bit before the dinner rush hour. After placing our order, we were shortly served the side dishes which tasted amazing. Instead of the bean sprouts side dish, it was replaced with an eggplant side dish this time and that was delicious. I had ordered the beef bibimbap and I would recommend it. It was super hot, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. You do not need to add a lot of gochujang sauce as it already has some flavour itself. The portion itself was quite large and definitely worth the price. When my cousin had dropped her chopstick on the floor by mistake, before we had a chance to ask for a replacement, the waitress came up from behind and provided her a new set. We also did not need to ask the servers to refill our tea as they would come check consistently to ensure our cups were never left empty. Amazing service and amazing food. It is well worth the drive from Windsor!!Update: Went back for some Korean BBQ and once again, this restaurant never disappoints.

Afzal Hussain: My go to favorite Korean BBQ and Specialty dish restaurant. I’ve been to Korea palace , Chung Ki Wa, DAE Bak but the quality here is top notch. They have a nice calming atmosphere especially with the music. If you plan on coming during the weekends come early or make a reservations. I walked in and it was packed but my party of seven was seated in about 10 minutes. I was impressed because like I said it was packed. Kudos to management and wait staff. Ill be back. This is my new home for BBQ!!

There was two of us in our party and we started off with a few appetizers including a rather large portion of yukhoe. It was large enough that 4 people could enjoy it with a generous portion each. For two people it was intimidating especially when you add on an order of haemul pajeon.For our meal we got the signature combo and at one point I was afraid that the food would not stop coming to our table. The staff was kind and only came to our table to drop off our food but there was a button on our table that we could push if we ever needed anything.This is my new favorite Korean BBQ location in Michigan and I cannot wait to come back.

Austin Spray-Rode: Great service. I love how they switch out the grill as it gets charred with the different marinades used on your meats so that you always get a nice fresh taste with a clean char and not burnt marinade. It is fantastic.And don't skimp out. Try the flight. You will enjoy all the different flavors I guarantee it as long as you like Fruity liquors.

Jenna Frenak: Daebak is the best! It's mine and my sister's go-to KBBQ place and we're willing to drive 40 minutes to come because it's so good! Our favorites are the bulgogi, chadol, and we're totally obsessed witb the galbi sauce they give you (it's the middle one)! The restaurant itself is super cute too and the servers are always super nice and attentive! We also love the kpop shop and the Myomee Cafe as well! Definitely check this place out!

Laura P: The skin on the wings is super crispy, the sauces are sticky-goodness, I love both the soy garlic and the korean sassy sauces, so thankfully they offer half and half. I think the giant steamed dumplings may be better in person (due to the panny, I was getting delivery), but the deep fried dumplings are quite good! I always get an extra side of pickled radish because it’s a fave of mine and they do it right.

Keya: apparently no one inside speaks english here. their kitchen doesn't open till 11:30a. their automated emails will tell you to wait till an hour after they say they open to pick up your food, even though it's been ready for at least 20-25m just soggying itself out while you wait with groceries melting. I tried to tell them they need to improve their notification process they both just walked away from me. customer service here is non-existent if you don't speak korean I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️their fried chicken is tough and dry, like chewing on the bottom of a shoe

Chrissie: This place is a GEM. The food is exceptionally good. Their flavors are amazing! The steamed dumplings remind me of holiday stuffing; the fried ones are like a delicious crunchy spring roll. The fried popcorn chicken is seriously some of the best fried chicken I've ever tried. The tacos were delicious too, and did not need cheese at all! We ordered through my company and everything was clearly labeled, packaged with care, and our order was 100% correct. I'm just so blown away by the incredible care and attention these folks are putting into what they do. Highly recommend!!

It was located inside the Dae Jang Geum restaurant in the corner of the plaza. Wing flavors were both really good and the wings themselves are huge. Kimchi fries were also lit good.

Eddyo: Me wife and I just had a great lunch at Sammi Korean restaurant in Troy. The Bulgogi and Japchae were outstanding and so was the service was the same. Grace our waitress was super attentive and provided service with a smile. Something you don’t see these days.My wife and I lived in Asia for 4 yrs and we traveled to Korea many times. So far, Sammi has come as close as you can get to original Korean food in the metro Detroit area. We highly recommend Sammi to Korean food lovers. We will certainly be back.

Adam Wolf: Been going here consistently for about 3 years and been pretty happy with the food and nice people. However, they recently drastically increased their prices. The $17 meal I used to get is now $23. If I go to chunki wa a few miles away, I can get the same meal with pork belly for the same price. The pork belly is the premium item. Needless to say I unfortunately will not be going back because although the food is good and the people are good, those price increases are way too drastic. Furthermore, the online menu has not been updated so the price is listed are not correct.

So, before arriving I always review the menu to have an idea of what I want to order. Upon arriving the menu online and I’m restaurant was different. I overlooked this and still decided to stay and find something new. I found a few options on the restaurant menu that sounded good however, they didn’t have all the ingredients to make my choices. Which I only found out AFTER I had to go get the waitress 20 minutes later after we sat down to let her know we were ready to order. No problem, I searched the menu for something else. I had to search for the waitress again to place another order. She took the order our food arrives to the table fast! It tastes okay but anything I would go back for. I get up to go get the waitress again for our bill. She brings a piece of paper with a total hand written on it. We pay no problem. So me and my party eat, talk, and leave. I did not feel I wanted to leave a tip because the food wasn’t really good and the service wasn’t good. We did not take any food home and we left lots at the table because the food wasn’t good. The waitress follows us outside after we pay and tells us “if you don’t want to tip don’t go out to eat” as if a tip is automatic when it isn’t if the food isn’t good and the service isn’t good then why should I tip? Then she proceeded into the restaurant and locked the door behind her so that I could not enter again.

I am muslim so I cannot eat pork especially or any other meat since it is not halal. I ate half of my Budau Jjigae when I found a piece of PORK.I am extremely disappointed and was very excited to try authentic korean kimchi. This definitely ruined the experience for me.
