Theresa: The pastor seems enthusiastic and nice. Music led by young people was well done. Unfortunately the members seem to ignore rather than welcome visitors. I guess that's ok since we were looking for a church with some focus on creation care. It doesn't look like this church has made any effort toward energy efficiency, less disposables, etc. Too bad for the next generation!

Melanie M: I started attending Amazing Grace around six months ago. Everyone has been very warm and welcoming. The Pastor here is full of energy and they have lots of fun programs (card nights, dinner clubs, Easter egg hunts, etc.) for all ages as well as many worship and faith education opportunities. The modern praise band is AWESOME, too.

theresa howard: I enrolled my kids at Peace 5 years ago, and haven't looked back! The minute you walk in the door, you know that your kids are loved and safe. The older kids look out for the younger kids, and it is amazing to see the relationships that they develop with each other. The teachers at Peace are amazing...they honestly care about every student that enters their classroom. Any time I have had a question or concern, they have been prompt and worked with me to remedy the situation and put my mind at ease. I love that my children are not only learning the state requirements but they are also learning the love of Jesus and surrounded by it every day! My daughter started high school this year, and chose to go back to public school. She has straight A's, and is well-equipped with the education she needed. I highly recommend Peace Lutheran School to anyone looking for a Christian school for their child.
Anna Swartz: This is my daughter's 3rd year at Peace. We couldn't ask for a warmer, safer, quality school to send our child to. The principal and pastor stand outside the entrance every morning giving each child fist bumps, and you can drop your child off right at their classroom if you'd like (I don't know many parents who are allowed to do that). There is an immediate sense of friendliness and warmth when you enter Peace. Even my younger twins who are not students yet know many of the staff, students and teachers. The lady in charge of the kitchen gives my daughter hugs even though she never buys hot lunch. This is a great community and a wonderful place to send your kids. I also find the academics are good, and my child enjoys learning. Every day when I pick her up, I ask how school is, and she says "great!" This is also the most affordable private school I have seen.
Jodi Johnstone: I have 4 children who have graduated from Peace and one more who is currently in the 6th grade. Our experience has been absolutely wonderful. The teachers have shown a Christ-like patience and love to my children which has helped them develop into confident, happy people. Academically, they are all excelling despite some learning disabilities and ADHD with two of them.No, there is not a gym in the building but there is a partnership with a church right down the road which has a gymnasium so that Peace can have volleyball and basketball teams. Also, there is a large sanctuary with removable seating which is used for the school children to have PE class and indoor recess when weather does not cooperate for them to play outside.Even though it is a small school, the children have opportunities to be on sports teams as well as participate in choir and band, starting in 4th grade. The choir is outstanding! The girls JV basketball team is undefeated in their league this year!The once a week chapel services are wonderful and the service projects that the students participate in teaches them about giving, sacrifice and helping others.Students at Peace are definitely part of a special family.
Alicia Wagner: I have been a member of Peace Lutheran Church for 15 years. I have been a supporter of the school just as long. My 1st child has been a student now for 2 years. The teachers are all friendly, loving, and teach each child as individuals. The entire staff makes it a point to greet and welcome each family and get to know you and your child. It's a small, more personal approach to teaching. If you are looking for a Christ centered education for your child, this is the place to come. There are many opportunities to be involved here. It's inspiring! The families at this church STAY with the church for generations. This speaks volume for its character as a whole, I think.The pastor is a true fighter and supporter of this school. The principle has been there for around 50 years! It's a wonderful place to call a 2nd home.
Christina Wolfe: Peace is a wonderful school with caring and kind teachers and staff. I can't imagine sending my children anywhere else. My son has been attending Peace since 2005, we've had few problems and what problems we may have had it is easily solved with simple communication whether it with the teacher, principal, pastor or any other staff member. I've worked closely with the principal and I find him kind, honest and forthright. The same is with the teachers whom I've grown to call friends.If you are looking for a good christian school to send your children this is the place.

Jodi Fischer: This church is second to none when it comes to warmth and welcoming atmosphere. I have attended here for 20 years and now drive 25 minutes due to not living in the area anymore. It has family friendly events throughout the year such as the Gym Jam in January, themed picnic at end of summer, All Saints Party on Halloween and the Santa Breakfast to name a few! Come check it out!

Haunted Forever: My husband and I were hurt in August 2018 that some old broad who was rude and arrogant, (she was a volunteer) was mad at us for what!? All because we really needed food every single month, but she didn't care and had to be rude and say to us, "You weren't supposed to be allowed to come back again! Weren't you both just here last month? It's every 60 days! Not every month. Didn't someone tell you!?" We tried denying it because, we really needed the food...we were like, "No." Then afterwards we felt awful, shamed and humiliated because of her Narcissism.

Jim Conroy: My grandparents have been members of this church since the mid 1950s. There 3 children were raised in this church and most of there children were raised in this church. I was one of them. 43yrs ago this month I was baptized here. In those 43yrs our family has had wedding, baptisms, funerals, and other family get together here. I have been around to see 3 pastor retire from here. The one I remember the most was Pastor Rodgers. Pastor Rodgers help our family so much. When my mother was dieing he was there with us every step of the way. From doing the service at the funeral home to the service at the church even before she passed he would come to the house sit with us and just pray. My grandmother had to be hospitalized for emergency surgery he was there. Great guy Pastor Rodgers is, it was sad to see he had retired. One of the best that I can remember being there in my 43yrs. Linda is doing a great job as well, but I can say I don't attend church services anymore like I used too. Overall this church has done so much good for the community. Here is the down fall all the original members are dieing off due to old age. There is maybe a handful of younger people, but what bothers me the most is after all the good they do for the community and families that come to them for help or that send there kids to school here, none of them people seem to want to be a part of the Church. One family I know would come just to eat food when they had free hot meals, dinner or breakfast, but to become a member no way. Now that is just rude. That's what I don't get they're good enough to help you out, but not good enough to attend church services. This place needs more younger folks to support them before there is no more original members left and they have to close the doors. That would be a shame. I am not a spring chicken anymore and can't do much for myself so I have to count myself out. Sooo if any one reads this and is looking for a place to call home at the best church I have ever known, please choose Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. It doesn't matter if your brown, white, purple, yellow, green, or blue. Shapes and sizes don't matter either. Even if your not that religion.
