Sam's Shoe Service: what do users think?
Allegra Pitera, Inactive account: Friendly, quality work, easy to park, repairs finished on time.
Sevana S: Unprofessional and rude. Not sure how this man is still in business with his attitude.
Larry Otis: Awesome place
George Clay: The representative is very professional. He listens well and gives you the pros and cons of the repair that is needed to fix your item(s).
James Meeuws: Please do not support this business. Dropped off my belongings for cleaning the end of September, did not receive them back till the end of December. When I finally got them back they had been shrunk. They told me they would pay for them and when they saw the price for each (3 Hats) they decided not to. The person I was dealing with for the entire time also said I would get a full refund for the cleaning which was $220, then had somebody else offered store credit. Why would I expect store credit when you ruined my belongings. Long story short BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DONT TAKE CARE OF YOUR BELONGINGS $1500 worth of hats that I can’t even wear anymore had them all less then a year
Jevita Anthony: Very disappointed with their UGG cleaning services. My son's red UGGs turned pink and they sprayed painted/dyed my daughter's black pair.
Marc Rosario: Terrible experience. Took a pair of limited edition Red Wing boots for new heels and the work I received was substandard. One of the boots even had visible nail heads sticking up where your heel rests inside. How this was missed is beyond me. I was so unhappy with the first encounter, I decided to bring my boots to Cobbler’s Corner in Northville (after much research) just so I wouldn’t have to deal with Sam’s. Cobbler’s Corner went above and beyond and they have a customer for life. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Zero stars and that’s being generous.
Cynthia Rogers: My former shoe service professional retired. I was referred to Sam’s by a jewelry representative. They cleaned and restored two sets of boots, 1 suede, 1 leather. They look brand new again! The consultant explained what needed to be done and why. Pricing just right for quality received. “I’m as happy as a rat in cheese factory.”Thank you Sam’s!
Sirena Jones: The best
Linda Daniels: Fast, quality shoe repair.
Aurelio Smith: Shoes
Shannon Jackson: Heels cut down on about 8 pairs of shoes
Krystal: The work that they do with your shoes are good however the customer service is horrible.
John Deluyck: Was quoted $110.00 to repair the soles of a pair of old work boots. Had the heels replaced on another pair of boots a couple of months ago....at $30.00.I think the estimate says that they didn't want to do the job.....obviously!
Thomas Glenn: It was horrible. I gave them 2 pairs of retro Jordans #4and #12. The Jordan #4 just needs cleaning the guy talk me into dying the shose the same color to brighten them up. So I agree to it. He dye the shoe but not the grip and around the air bubble. Never gave me back my shoe strings. The Jordan #12 grip was coming loose on the side. I asked the guy to repair it. When I got my shose back it had a lot of dryed up access glue on the sides and bottom I could see gaps between the shose and grip. The shose was completely ruined.I was told they can not do anything for me.
Matt Reece: They do a decent job
issa qaqish: The best shoes on the market hands down
David Manning: Me and Sam remarried for business after a 2 year divorce. I can't deny the impeccable styles of shoes provided by this business. I truly missed my time away from doing business with them. Mike your the best in choosing the unique styles for your African American customers!!! One Luv Bro..
Dr. Ridley: Great shoe service shop and much more! Sam is very friendly. You will feel like you are receiving personalized service.
50 Year Old Fat Girl On A Treadmill: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ValueThis place should be out of business. TERRIBLE service, bad quality, rude attitude. Their cleaning is AWFUL.
Mercades Benz: Very polite . I added clear rubber/plastic piece to the sole of my shoes. Came out perfect. Prices are amazing. Professional

Clinton Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Peggy Johnson: Very friendly there!
Ginger Dee: Fixed my sandals the next day for a very reasonable price. Very happy with the service and will definitely return
Keith Turner: I took in a pair of expensive Ariat Boots that were very uncomfortable. He hammered down the seam on the side the boot and it split open... he offered no remedy and blamed it all on Ariat. Said he could do nothing to fix it, he tried gluing it but...My experience with this guy cost me a couple of hundred dollars.
Gail McAlpine: Was very accommodating as I needed the shoes asap. Nice job!!
Bill Fisher Google guide level seven: Needed my boot shined for a party and didn't get it done but the last minute I went in and he had no problem with doing it right then and there and then you get to play with the dog at the same time great guy nice place most people would have said you got to come back but he did not thank you
Edwin Feys Jr: This guy is solid!
F C: I dropped off a sandal to have the elastic repaired and went to pick it up the next day. The buckle was scratched up and I mentioned to the lady at the counter that I did not recall it like that when I dropped it off. She went to speak with the man who did the repair and he came to the counter. He looked at me and said “How the hell would I have done that? I used my two hands”. I was taken aback as to how he talked to me. I reiterated that I did not think it was all scratched up like that. Then he offered to spray it and said he would spray the other shoe buckle because it is probably scratched as well. He sprayed the shoe with a black paint and I left. Went to my car and brought in the other shoe to show that it was not scratched at all. Would never go back to this business. A customer asks a question and you are swore at. Rude behavior by this man. Shame on him .
Denise Beebe: The guy who runs this place is the best
Michael Davis: Awesome! What a helpful guy, He fixed my belt for free! Thanks again....
Nick Plaskon: Fixed a zipper on my leather jacket without replacing the whole thing. Works great now.
Nancy Destefanis: Great job fixing my Coach purse, much cheaper than using the Coach store .
Michael Colburn: Very efficient and friendly service
Diane B: He really needs to trust someone to help him at the store, so he can rest up and get healthy enough for his booster dose.Once you get boosted, your symptoms are usually very mild, or hopefully non-existent. Take a break, and rest up! Breathe some CLEAN air sometimes. We need you around for a long time. You're my favorite cobbler!!😊PS: Take Frankie somewhere warm and sunny & as private as possible. Play together. At least Frankie needs a fun vacay with his dad!
anna weir: Great repair and fast
Trevor Fillmore: Super great at his job bag looks amazing with the new zipper!!!!!
Denise Goldsmith: There aren't very many places that repair shoes any more. I have had shoes and purses repaired here he does an awesome job.
dave brown: Very kind know the work they doing I'll give you five stars
Frankie B: Rip off. They have no idea what they're doing. My shoes looked worse when I picked them up. And they said it was one price and when I picked them up it was a different price blaming someone else for misquoted it. Awful workmanship and dishonest.
Theresa Cogwell: Love love love the service.
Brian & Cameron: Brought in a $800 pair of Gucci sneakers that had a small rip in the leather. Owner of the shop said he could fix it no problem and clean the shoe up. Came back a week later to get them and they look worse then when I dropped them off. Glue was all over the sneaker and I couldn’t get it off personally and the torn leather looked absolutely ridiculous. Not only was it a waste of $15, but now the shoes are unwearable now. Thanks
Frank D Davis: They do very hood work.

House of Morrisons Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Kathy T: I brought my leather jacket and Michael Kors boots in and Rhonda was super helpful. I parked on the opposite side of the street because street parking was full. Rhonda was very knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know.
Yvette Z: I LOVE this place!!! I took a pair of high heels there, it was my first time. They treated my shoes as their own, with so much care. My shoes came back so beautiful and ready for wearing again. Don’t think twice if you need your shoes cared for in a meaningful way. Thanks again you guys!!!!
Evan Killingsworth: Incredibly nice family run business. Great work on my Timberlands.
oatmealbrownie09: My boot was fixed in 1 day.
tahitian jones: House of Morrison's Shoe Repair did a wonderful job on my knee high boots. The heel height was a bit too high for me at just over 4.5 inches. My maximum heel height is 4 inches. I initially thought it best to cut the heel down but Rhonda informed me that that would not be best for my particular shoe because of the sole to heel ratio. I may be saying it wrong but that's the jest of it. She offered to add a platform under the sole instead that would maintain the integrity of the shoe and give me the result I needed. They did an excellent job and the price was affordable. Rhonda was professional and yet down to earth. I would highly recommend this place to anyone near, far or wide! A Detroit gem to say the least!can't seem to post picture but will try again.
Michele Acea: Excellent customer service!
Katalin Daigle: Absolutely wonderful place that does an amazing job. So glad I found them. They are friendly, quick, and do best repairs. Saved two of my most valuable shoes so that they look brand new!
Srikanth V: Good service and professional

sherley bledsoe: The ONE who has mastered this profession need I say More!!
D George: My sister-in-law gave me a leather backpack but, it needed a little TLC. I took it to Morrisons and the bag looks fantastic! They reconditioned and restored the backback and a small leather binder for a great price.
Kesa - Waikikse Johnson: Awesome repair to leather purse strap and had well worn go to conference shoes looking renewed! Very customer friendly and seems like well established repeat customers. I definitely will be one!😉
Kimberly E. Mallory: I love the lady / owner of the shop. She is so sweet and super amazing
Kourtney Price: Great experience. I love it is black own and I am well taken care of. Great communication and education of what was done. I will be coming back when necessary.
Toby Odegbo: 5 star service and work towards a few high end shoes I brought in. Amazing all around.
Detroit's Finest EL: The took great care of my stiletto boots and made them so much more comfortable with extra thick padding on the bottom! Their customer service is phenomenal you're going to feel like you knew them all your life! They are extremely friendly and helpful and down to earth and no wonder they are so successful! I will never take my shoes anywhere else in fact I'm going to find other shoes just because I want to patronize their business for being one of the best black trustworthy shoe businesses in Detroit for over 60 years! If I LOVE IT, ITS LAW!!👑💪 THANKS FOR MAKING MY BIRTHDAY SHOE THE BEST FEELING SHOE IN MY CLOSET! 🙌 20 STARS 🌟 🤩
Shawn Kaley: Sure, you can get your shoes repaired at a host of other places, but why? House of Morrisons 'out-shines' them all. You can't beat the customer service and the feeling of belonging to the family from your very first visit. I'm now out of stste and STILL send them my shoes. Trust and believe, your feet will thank you.
nelon davis: Outstanding
Nasser Dabaja: I bough a machine from the owner and had a chance to see her work area, she seams a Master at her craft and a genuine nice person and will definitely recommend her for all leather repair needs.
Carolyn Smith: EXCELLENT WORK AND SUBERB BUSINESS OWNERS!!!!!!
LaShara Montgomery: A1 service

Village Shoe Services: what do users think?
TR Simmons: Quality of work was only fair. It was extremely expensive, timelines were not met and the workman's attitude was arrogant. There's no excuse for this and reading most of the reviews tells me that I'm not the only one to have a less-than-stellar experience with them
ATIBA Jones: Great experience and the best advice for caring for your leather and exotic goods
I WALKER: Great service, good prices
evan hubenka: Only open on Monday?
Kristen Clancy: I just left.... a single shoe needed to be reglued to the sole. The cost was $25!!The cost to clean a pair of pink suede strappy high heels was $50!! Seriously?! 🤯 New business venture for me 🤔
Cynthia Cassell: I needed a new heel put on a pair of boots because I use them for walking in Europe and they get beaten up on cobblestones. They were able to fix my heel while I waited and they are open on Saturday, which is a huge plus.
SIERRA DONAVEN: Outstanding service!!!! Had heels cut down on 3 pair of sling backs.
tracey jones: The best cobbler in the City by far.
Susan Doherty: I wish I had taken photos but unfortunately I did not. Brought a pair of triple white Yeezys to them for a professional clean. The tops were dingy gray and the soles were yellow. They said they couldn't promise they'd be perfect but they would do their best and they made me pay $60 up front for the deep clean. When I got them back, there was still dingy gray all along the seams and the uppers were stiff with the bleach they'd used. The soles hadn't even been touched. I asked about that and they said that they weren't even sure how to clean them. Of course they didn't offer me any refund. They didn't even seem embarrassed about the poor craftsmanship.I sent the shoes to a professional sneaker restorer and now they look brand new. I was lucky they were able to save them after village shoe repair nearly destroyed them with bleach. Definitely would not recommend.
Karen M. Jones: I broke the leather handle on my Louis Vuitton bag, and needed it repaired before I came back home from spring break. It was fixed beautifully, and on time. I recommend this place.
Andrea Charity: I had two pairs of shoes fixed here. I dropped both pair off in November. I got one pair back in January and I got the other pair back today (4-14). I left half the agreed upon price when I dropped the shoes off. I called the store last week to ask if my shoes were ready. The person told me to come on Saturday. I go to the store Saturday morning and my shoes still aren’t ready yet. The lady asked if I could come back. Finally I’m called later that afternoon at four saying they are done. I couldn’t pick up the shoes till today. When I come in I asked the lady what were they planning to charge due to all the time. She calls the man and he says that the price was higher than what we agreed upon. Then tries to give me a discount for the issues only ten dollars cheaper than the original agreed upon price. I would not recommend this shop. Two stars because after a total of five months at least I got my shoes back.
Sally Levinson: A little high for just fixing sandles but when you're the only game in town you can be
katrina hall: Great work
Michael Whalen: Good service talented cobbler great job.
Joshua and Zena Neds-Fox: Critical:Professionalism,Quality
William Wisswell: Sorry overpriced see Ed in Sterling Hghts.
Sundra Peay: I had taken my Ugg’s boot to have the button reattached. They lost the crystal button and were unable to replace it. The owner never told me. I had to go in to find out this happened. Then he purchased a button from some where that didn’t match. He said that that Ugg’s send it. It was altogether a different button. They soiled my boots and lied about promising to replace them. He got mad and slammed the damaged boots on the counter. Returned my repair cost. Started yelling about people dying of Covid and I’m worried about a button for boot. He was so nasty and unprofessional. I was so disappointed at the lack customer service. They had my boots for over a month. Never remorseful or apologetic. I absolutely would never recommend or come back to this business. Ever! My boots are unable to be used or replaced. Then the owner tried to flip the switch on me. Unbelievable! Do not use this place unless you don’t care what happens with your footwear!Sundra P.
Jacqueline Calhoun: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Laura Jane Hatcher: Wonderful staff. Extremely knowledgeable. Great selection.
John Hancock: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value👍🏼👍🏼
Michael Clemens: I've used them 3 times and each time has been good

Westland Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Michael Harnos: Told me my brand new item should be thrown away. Very rude
Kim Malik: Took shoes to get my heel pads replace which he did but put 2 different sizes on and did work I didn’t ask for and he tried to charge me for it. I did not want the extra work and he did it anyway. Totally over charged me. Would never go back there.
Gina Simmons: Charged me $75 for nothing owner is a theif
Beverly Wilburn: Too expensive for me
Misha Torres: I brought my favorite boots to get them completely destroyed. No, initial plan was to give them additional sole support which should be glued to the old one. BTW, the price for that was already rip-off but I loved the boots so much I payed.I got them back with cut off fabric, simply because the guy was doing it carelessly by using a machine. He also made me stay in the store for one hour saying the job would take 10min.AVOID this place at all cost. Rather buy new pair than spend arm and leg on something that will go to trash can.I'm heartbroken about my boots. I couldn't find this pair anywhere to buy. It was nice pricey boots. In addition he wasn't polite and appropriate during our conversation. Stay away, especially if you're young female.
Cassandra Meyer: Avoid! This place is awful. They wanted to charge me $135 to reheel my boots which is a lot. Turns out he wasn't even planning to reheel them, he took the outer layer off the heel, painted the underlying plastic black and said that's what we agreed to. It looked like garbage and he tried to defend it.I tried to argue, went outside to collect myself (while he expressed annoyance behind my back) and he then he tried to backpedal and waive leather and new heels at me while I was sitting in my car for a minute. When I went to go back in and talk to him, he'd locked me out. He still has my shoes, so I'm out two of my favorite pairs of shoes.Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.Edit: Got the shoes back, one done his way and one that he didn't touch. That's what he thought was worth $135. Black paint on the heel.
LivinMyLife: Owner does very good work on your shoe's, prices are reasonable, He's very nice and friendly as well I recommend.
Mark Haapala: No waiting and fast service
Angela Johnson: Great place, Great people, Great price
Lavez Ludy: Good experience I would recommend his services
Chantelle: Sid is the best! Don't waste your time anywhere else - his level of knowledge & expertise go unmatched! Your items are always in good hands here ♡
John Koch: Thought I was getting a good deal, but found out I got Ripped off. Not a good guy.
Charlie M: Owner was nice enough, and the store has been there forever so I thought I would give it a shot. Had heel taps replaced because the original cracked and broke( never even walked on the peg once it broke because I noticed the break.) He cracked the actual heel of the boot! A fracture of about an inch on both sides of one heel and one side of the other. The taps were filed to more of a point, not like the original ( one boot had the tap in place, so the size and shape was there for reference)., therefore the balance is thrown off on them now.I did not know he only took cash, but that worked out in my favor in this situation, as he told me to take the boots and to just make it up to him on the next repair. I genuinely kind of feel bad but at the same time I don't. Now I have to pay even more to get them fixed, if that is even possible. There may be some things she does good work at, but this was not one of them.
Kelly Greunke: Fixed favorite boots on the spot!
Norman Rollins: Critical:ValueLesson learned: over priced for the repair; stitched, polished but no glue. I try to support local business where I live but won't go back.
Drake Hardacre: Beware of this place! Listen to the reviews below. If you let him he will con you out of money. He told me it would be 65 dollars to put additonal holes into my powerlifting belt but then I handed him 80 and expected change back. He acted like he didn't have change for some reason. Then told me to tell my friends about him, ect. He also tried to sell me some cheap Olympic weightlifting belt off one of his racks.
Lynne King: Had my purse repaired. told me $55 dollars. I go to pick up the purse and he said no $65. Will not do business with this place again
Domo: This place is not a place I would recommend going to shop at. However if you are in the market for shoe care products the owner is very acknowledgable. It's my leather bag was glued riveted and stitched back to new. I brought my designer bag hoping it will look just as good and it did. I also witnessed him bring shoes back to life within 30 minutes that another person brought in his work is great I would definitely recommend for a repair
Bradford Smoot: What a nice group of people! Enjoyed my visit.
Olga Stevens: He brought my military boots back to life... 1 boot before pic. Not finished. 2 boots pic 1 finished... awesome job. He is fixing all of my boots and shoes. Fair price. Good 👨.
Ken Spry: Critical:ValueOver priced and he'll con you out of your money. Beware

Ed's Great Step Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Ashley Rettell: Awesome. Had a pair of boots where the zipper wasn't working properly. I called, he told me to stop by, he fixed them in less than 5 minutes, showed me what was wrong, and didn't even charge me. Sweet and kind man - you need anything fixed I'm sure he can do it!
Colleen Kramer: Did a great job!
Scott Soucy: Great customer service, old world craftsmanship and fair prices. I will definitely be returning!
Dennis Gentz: Does a great job
Srikanth V: Good place and good service
Tara Quist: Went in for an estimate on my shoes to be cleaned. $65?!! They are white sneakers that are suede they have a little bit of dust on him dudes out of his mind, dont bother going there!
Mike Goldinger: Had to some extra padding in my work boat .Great work
Rami Kseri: Great Service. Highly Recommend
JoeTheAnimal71: I brought him a ripped suitcase to fix. He got it done much sooner than he estimated, and with double zipper slides. Very reasonably priced. Remember, though: cash only.
Cody Bacon: I brought in some dress shoes to have some scuffs repaired and the results were great for a fair price. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the bizarre customer experience I had when picking them up. The man at the counter had me come to the back to find my shoes which took me a few minutes. Then once I finally did find them, I was informed the business was cash only, which I was not told when I brought the shoes in a few days prior. This resulted in an awkward situation where I was forced to use cash that was given to me for a different purpose. Given the other positive reviews for this place I'm assuming I must be an outlier, since the man who helped me seemed unsure of how things worked. That said, I'm very happy with how my shoes came out so I do have to give credit for that.
Kevin Hagadorn: Great place for repair work, the owner does a fantastic job
Kathy Anderson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI bright Ed a pair of hiking shoes that the seam was coming apart. He fixed the go $10 and 10 minutes. He actually reinforced both shoes for the price. Super reasonable and fast. I highly recommend Ed’ Great Step Shoe Repair.
Tanya A: The man here was so nice and explained to me how he was going to fix my shoes. He had my shoes done exactly when he said he would. I will be going back for any shoe repairs! Very satisfied customer
Keegan McCallum: Eddie gave me a wealth of knowledge!
Greg Tchorz: Excellent customer service, great advise, and an amazing final product. I couldn't ask for more from a cobbler.
Shannon Worsham: I had the pleasure of working with Ed when he helped me realize a dream of custom equestrian boots despite my hugely wide claves. I can in with a pair of Dehners I inherited from a friend’s passing. They were tall and big enough in the foot but I no way big enough in the calf. So Ed went about a strategy to get them to fit. I visited eight time over the summer as Ed measured, cut, refitted, redesigned, stretched and kept working. While there I saw people come out happy with simple leather shoe repairs and dyes he easily and reasonably did. My project was bigger and it was one I could not find anyone else willing to do: recraft boots for near scratch. In the end he had stretched, lined, added a zipper, re-carved the foot, dyed, polished and waterproofed these boots for a very reasonable price. The results are strong, as new to the looks as you can get and I ride in them regularly; they fit perfectly.I cannot stress how much I would recommend Ed. Be patient on big projects as he is a craftsman and is going to take the time to do things right but not only is he great at what he does, reasonable and practiced, he is a gentleman too.
carlene lindsay-jones: Positive:Quality,Value
Devon Elise: Great work!
Dorlynda Graham: Always does a great job & your items are ready when he promises.
Lambergiinnii: Positive:Quality,Responsiveness,ValueMy zippers broke on my tall Doc Martens. I took them to Eds. Not only did he fix the zippers, he spruced them up. For an extremely affordable price. And they were ready quickly! Very happy with his work. Highly recommend.

Tip Toe Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Tet Valdez: This guy keeps changing the price for the soles which by the way was already expensive $70 per pair for just the top and the heel. The worst part is he does not finish the work on time. He only started the work on the pick up day. Horrible customer service.
Jimmy Rosas: did a very good job on fixing my shoes
LILIA MKRTCHYAN: The two men that work at this place are both very good at fixing any problems that have to do with any type of shoe. I send many of our students to them as well, seeing as we own a dance studio, shoe repair is something that we always need. And having someone good to do it is nice and reliable.
M J: The sign shows the store is open but no one is there. Waiting and waiting but no one shows up... The lights are on and the open sign is turned on... no one shows up... it's only 2pm on a Sunday... 1 star for not being here to serve me
Oh Yaseen: This store is the oldest store in the Burbank mall. And it feels like it. Just take look at the flooring. They do seem to charge whatever they like whenever they want which I can't stand. 2.5 stars for trying.

Farmington Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Azrakiel Az: Always a prompt, high quality and affordable work!
M. Ventu: I have been using Farmington Shoe Repair for years - they do good work and I think the prices are pretty reasonable. The shop is definitely nothing fancy, but they have a lot to offer. I have had a variety of shoe and handbag repairs done here throughout the years; They have fixed shoe soles, re-heeled numerous pairs of shoes, given my espadrilles new life, fixed winter boots that literally had a jagged, complete hole through the sole, repaired difficult zippers, beautified my patent leather, etc. Their repairs are high-quality. Most recently, they were able to get dried building paint out of a delicate handbag without ruining the finish. I am really appreciative of the service (and friendliness) provided by Farmington Shoe Repair throughout the years. I wish I had more before and after pictures to share!
Andrew Hack: Greatest shoe repair place ever
Ayan Biswas: They do luggage repair - Great quality work (stitch ripped non-leather duffel) at affordable price (20$) !
Gloria Gaines-Hanna: I had 27 pairs of shoes Heels lower/reduced in height...this Master shoe repair. Did a masterful job of correcting and lowering the heights of my shoe...I can not believe the fantastic walking balance that have improved from the lowering of the heights of these HEELS..and I am going to take more shoes...because I don't have to give my shoe away now...and it has healed the pain in my legs and feet....walking properly in shoes can change your life!!!!
Danny Lafian: Awesome place and owner fixed my suitcase w a few crafty n skilled swats w his hammer and I was ready to pack my rimowa for my trip to Brazil the next day. I will come back here for any and all my repair needs..two thumbs up👍🏼👍🏼
JM D: Several years ago I had trouble getting my phone out of it's horizontal phone holster. My hands were having issues. I walk with two canes. It is important that I can get to my phone as quickly & smoothly as possible so I don't fumble my canes or trip or fall.I stopped in to see if they could replace the end pieces on the phone holster to make them longer or something that would make it easier to get my phone out. I was worried that I might have to leave my phone holster with them due to all the other items they were already repairing or were scheduled to repair. The person at the counter assessed the situation. He asked if I had time to wait for a few minutes so he could look at it at his desk. I said yes and spent a few minutes looking at their merchandise displayed around me. In no time at all he was back the phone holster fixed by removing the leather end pieces and replacing them with elastic. It worked great. I think I paid just few dollars for the work and elastic. I was so pleased. That was at least 5 years ago. The repair is still holding up. My next and current phones were too big for that holster. I kept the phone as I think it has over 2,000 photos- nature, dog walks, car shows, etc. I store it in that same phone holster. Will I ever go back to have them repair something else? Yes! I will be going back in the next few weeks. I have a light weight coat that I use as one of my winter layers. When tried to zip it few days ago I discovered that a small section of the zipper was starting to pull loose from where it is sewn to the coat. I love that coat. The rest of it is in good shape. I tried to think of where I could get it fixed. Bingo! Farmington Shoe Repair popped into my mind. I called them to see if they were still open and to see if they would repair it. Yes and yes. Now I just have to find time during or after the Christmas and New Year's holidays to take it to them.
