Chris N: My experience with resurrection cemetery is 95% positive. The majority of the staff is very supportive and helpful and the grounds are properly maintained. I visit my grandparents grave site twice a week and it’s very beautiful and peaceful. The only complaint I have is the grounds crew throws away our European funeral lanterns regularly. We specifically chose this cemetery due to the large number of Polish friends and family buried in the “Polish section.” With my large family there is someone at my grandparents grave site every day. Most resent (this past Wednesday) we visited for my grandpa’s birthday and lit candles in the lanterns. These candles last 2 days….. My uncle went the next day and everything was thrown away (lantern’s, candles, and flowers.) My mom attempted to call the office to see if we could get our lanterns back and an explanation. She was transferred to a very rude staff member named Lyn who was argumentative, spoke over my mom and transferred her to someone else before my mom could get a question answered. Luckily we spoke with someone else who had kindness and compassion, however we still don’t have an answer. I would expect when staff has a bad day, they don’t take it out on grieving family members as Lyn has.

Manuel: The only good reviews are from families that buried their loved ones with no idea how this cemetary operates. They move burial sites without filing proper paperwork or informing the families & have had more than one instance where they have “accidentally” destroyed another persons grave while digging a new one. It starts from the top, but there is little accountability outside of the person replying to all the reviews to make it seem like they care. Operate better. Get better systems in place. Hold the grounds keepers accountable.

THORINtheRED: These people will defile the remains of your loved ones, and then hide the evidence. It will take a judges order and the news media for them to admit even a modicum of guilt. They are money hungry, sleezy, and care none for the respect you expect for your deceased loved one. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Sheila Carbary: I hopped on here to get directions. My dad will be gone 2 yrs tomorrow. I am shocked at all the bad reviews I've seen. It is a very beautiful cemetery. But I was angered when they moved my grandmother without even telling the family. When I looked for her I couldn't find her. She was in the middle in one of the crypts. I finally found her on the bottom in the next section. It just is such a disrespect to the family to not be told. And from what others are saying about flowers being regulated. It's not a showroom! You should be able to adorn the graves the way you want. All flowers are beautiful! Still really upset that they would not tell us that they moved our loved one!

Julie Haase: I am so disappointed. I live out of state, so I can't regularly tend to my grandparents' plots. Yesterday I was in town and stopped by. I walked past several headstones that were completely under water, which I understand happens sometimes. When I got to my grandparents, my grandmother's headstone was sinking down to the side and my grandfather's was completely missing. Someone had poured dirt and grass seed to the left of his grave and also all over his headstone. I had to dig out his headstone from under several inches of dirt and mud (luckily I had work gloves and baby wipes in my car), and when I finally got it dug out and cleaned up, I found scratches on it. I understand needing to lay down dirt and grass seed so there aren't giant spots of mud everywhere, but to carelessly cover someone's entire headstone in the process is just disrespectful. I didn't have time to check my other family members' resting spots while I was there, so now I'm going to worry what they look like until I can get back again.

Amy Koza: This cemetery is beautiful. I have purchased from them twice. The customer service was patient both times and they cared about my concerns. They even sent compassionate videos about the grief process, after the burial.

Lady Dee J of Belfort: Beautiful historic Cemetery however no one is EVER in the office when we visit. Security guard was very helpful and pleasant! The flat headstones are extremely Unattended to,meaning that the grass is over grown over most of them and some completely submerged into the grown! We called from Florida 3 weeks ahead of time for our mother's stone to be unearthed and raised! Understandably funds are low for upkeep,however call out for volunteers to help...especially where the Veterans and infants and babies are buried....these poor souls should NEVER be forgotten! My mother passed away last June, we've purchased a grave for her from this cementey and i beleive that all the cfees has been paid in full, we dohave the paperwork and receipt. Yesterday we have receive a letter after 10 months indicating that they never receive a payment since 319 days. Please help me to understand, would you be able to get a grave spot before paying for it first?? Dipite the fact they take their swwt time to maintain the grave area, since June green grass is still not in place. I will call next week to see what is going on with this business.

Now this place is a dump, employees don’t care, reading the responses from the management team to the review they don’t care either. No apologies were issued. They want to push very expensive tombstones that don’t look like quality products and use scare tactics when you are reluctant of purchasing from them. The roads are HORRIBLE… it’s been like this for years and you know you’re just giving lip service. You mentioned that you are proud of your employees, how about have some pride in caretaking a place where people bury their precious loved ones. Don bother to respond as it is evident in your responses you give no fluucks. Such a shame.. BTW we can only be sure one thing in life and it is that every soul will taste death, one day it will be your turn and would you want your family memebers or yourself buried in this randown cemetary? Me thinks not!

Tyler Shane'l: Couldn’t find my friend gravesite. I asked for help & all they gave me was a piece of paper and circled a large area of gravesites. When I went to go look, I ran into someone else who was looking for her father and she said she’s been coming to the cemetery for years searching for him and still haven’t found him !!! That’s sad !

Dewan Hassan: They take time in placing headstone. Not just within days but months or years. They are quick to ask for their money so that should tell you where there customer skills are at. Place isn’t maintained well and trust me they have the funds to keep this place in shape. They don’t care to do it that’s why you’ll see trash/grass overgrown covering loved ones headstones. Hours are not feasible for loved families to visit. I believe in karma so no need to complain to managers. This place owners will get what they deserve. Mark my words.

gary sundquist: Having a very poor experience with Tracy Campbell in regards to getting my mothers urn buried in her fathers plot since he was buried elsewhere. The plot was already paid for as well as burial expenses at the time. After exchanging over 28 emails she is giving me a hard time over pricing. I was told the 2nd interment rights would be removed which they were sort of but half the cost of the 2nd internment fee was added to the internment fee. I was told this is to cover opening, closing, and admin fees. However, the internment fee of $1195 is the fee for opening and closing and there is already a separate $175 admin fee. Not sure why only half the 2nd internment rights fee was removed and the other half added to the internment fee. Then the document they sent to sign didn’t even have the 2nd internment rights removed nor the prices updated! Very poor experience very disappointing was once a beautiful cemetery.Update:Worked with Mrs/Ms Sommer from Woodmere cemetery who was able to resolve all the issues I had quickly and get everything scheduled for me. Increasing to 3 stars because the initial help (Tracy) was so awful and took so long for no reason.Thank you!

Fabia: This place does not even deserve a one star review. It’s been two years and they still have not put the headstone on. They continue giving the run around and are not professional. Please look elsewhere for your loved ones because this place will not respect them or you.

Paige Ray: Unless you enjoy your loved ones grave constantly being destroyed by the crack head junkies they employ, you should find another cemetery. This is at least the 20th incident in the last 5.5 years. Try hiring some decent people because this is getting old. Not to mention all the money this joke of a place brings in they can’t even fix the roads.

Nameer: The Woodmere counselor told me that the headstone will take 3-6 months. It’s been 10 months already. All what they care about is money, they made the loss of my 10 year old son even harder. The cemetery roads are terrible and the pond is always dirty. This place needs someone who can run it probably, for god’s sake you’re dealing with grieving families.
