Mike Nickele: I don’t like buying cars! I hate pressure sales. That wasn’t the case at Suburban Mazda of Troy. Jennifer, Doug and Jesse were the perfect example of the three “Ps” : Personable, Polite and Professional.

Mark Kotowski: Bought a brand new CX-30 mid- February and recently noticed in a rather obscure spot that there was a streak of paint missing. There is a 4 inch scratch down to bare metal under the back edge of the hood near the driver side wiper. Looks like a tool dragged across it maybe. I called the dealership to ask what my options were for a repair and was told that because it was past 7 days, they would do nothing for me and the normal wear and tear cause by the road isn't their responsibility. There are less than 1000 miles of light city driving on the vehicle.

Jackson Stevens: Best service ever! Our new vehicle had a rip in a seat and was told it would be fixed after we bought it. Our previous dealer had the seat 'fixed' by slapping new leather on it which looked as wrinkled as unfolded clothing - which they said it was the best they could do. Upset, we took our car to Suburban Mazda of Troy who said they would fix it - free of charge!! Unbelievable service and very nice people. As a proud Mazda family, we will now be going to Mazda Troy for all of our service needs here on.
Lisa Morehouse: Not a good experience and by the end it left me with alot of distrust of Sunurban Mazda of Troy. Since this is going to be my daughter's car and she will be making all payments on it we asked if there were any rebates or anything to bring the coat down a little for her. Our salesman MO said there was not but he would see what he could do. Mo came back with saying he can include 4 years of maintenance so all oil changes would be covered. Great! At least it was something and we were happy with that.Get to the finance guy. He shows me the itemized paper and I see maintenance listed for $1750. I ask him what is that for and he says it's the maintenance for oil changes for 4 years. We explain that's free and he left the office to go check. Well he comes back and says no its not included it's $1750. I tell him to take it off we didn't want that. He takes it off and kind of had and attitude and I apologized for it (which i shouldnt have done but it was so awkward at this point), his response was "it's fine it just makes more work for me now". Wow! Isn't this your job? So I tell him "well I really don't appreciate trying to have something pulled over my eyes and being lied to". If you decide to purchase from here beware and read everything because they almost got us to pay an extra $1750 when they said it was included. Very disappointed!

Jacob Wartell: The worst service experience I have ever received. I took my car in because of a burning oil smell. They told me what the problem was which was a cracked cylinder head, so they ordered a new part. After 3 weeks of waiting, they told me it was ready to be picked up. Within 10 minutes of picking it up I noticed the smell was still there. I brought it back the very next day and it still has yet to be looked at. It’s now been over 2 months and I am still waiting.I have left multiple voicemails for Stevan and have not received a call back.
Roupert Pinili: Scheduled for an oil and filter change. Took them 3 hours to do it even though I was told that it will take 1 hour. This was the second time I had my car get serviced at Troy Mazda and the first time was no different (almost 3 hours at the lobby waiting) I had purchased the Suburban care of 3 oil change for $199, now I will be preparing myself for another long hours of waiting for an oil change or just forget about the last oil change I still have and go somewhere else. Terrible service! Very incosiderate of other people's time.
LaQuinta Edwards: Every experience that I have with Mazda is always memorable. This one was no different except this time I left with my 3rd leased vehicle of which I am very pleased thanks to the efforts of Jennifer, who was diligent in communicating with me concerning my trade up until I came in to the dealership. I must mention my long time salesman Doug, who has been there for me from day 1 and he did not disappoint this time around. He looked out for me on every end. I must also state that not only did Jennifer stay in contact but she also showed me in detail how to use the bells and whistles on my new CX-5 that was loaded with just about all the features a girl could want without spending the going rate on a vehicle of this caliber. Overall, I am satisfied with this vehicle and I want to say Thank you so much to the Mazda team, my Mazda family!

Exg Love: Read the review about service department not treating customers with respect and professionalism, if you can, go to local repair shop/Sesi Mazda in Ann Arbor.The service manager frequently speaks to customers without making eye contact, which is a clear sign of unprofessionalism.Additionally, the manager often brings out an "experienced" technician to explain why a complaint or concern about a car cannot be addressed. Unless the problem can be replicated in front of them, customers are out of luck. As an experienced technician and service manager, it's surprising that neither the manager nor the technician doesn't know (or forget) how to use their computer to read error codes. Some malfunctions only occur intermittently, and it's frustrating to bring in a car for an inspection only to be told that everything is fine.Please consider improving your service and comparing it to other Mazda dealerships.
Abhi: Absolutely disappointing service department. Had an issue with my car and decided to go to them since this is where I purchased my vehicle from. I understand that I didn't have an appointment but the service advisor didn't even offer to at least read codes through the OBD port to see if there were any. I wasn't really expecting the issue to be fixed the same day but I was told it would be a month to get it diagnosed even though their online portal showed appointments for next weekUpdate 4/27/2022: Tried calling the number shown on the response below. Durti Curti: My wife and I were assisted by Harold Henry Mills. I highly recommend him for being laid back and willing to get us as much for our trade-in as possible. We didn't quite like the first vehicle we came to try out (CX-30), and I mentioned what I was looking for in a vehicle. He suggested the perfect one within our budget, and now my wife and I are very happy with the CX-5.

Edward Bleta: Out of all of the Mazda dealerships in southeast Michigan, Suburban Mazda is definitely the best. My salesperson, Mazen, went above and beyond to get me a good deal and get my Mazda CX-30 delivered ASAP. Lou, the manager, is intensely knowledgeable about Mazdas and really cares about his customers and their lifetime relationship with the dealer. Blake, one of the finance managers, is hilarious and cares about finding you the right packages and finance/ lease terms for your vehicle. Whether you're buying a car in-person or online, Suburban Mazda is a great bet.

chitrang jani: Bad service, avoid if you can.Update: Because I have put a review they replied here to call on some number.I dialed, someone picks up and transfer to service department no one picks up. Next day I tried another time this time I was connected with manager and I explained whole thing to him he took my number and told me he will do something and I will get a call. Waited 5 days no call received.Conclusion: They replied on all review so it looks good for the customer who reads it. Psychological play. In reality, they don't care.

Courtney Adams: Dennis is incredible. He worked with me to get a brand new engine in my vehicle within a week. Not even a week later he helped me work out a secondary problem and managed to help me with a claim. Even though I called probably every day for about three weeks they were incredibly patient with me and extremely understanding and kind each time. Usually I don't recommend dealerships but I do recommend this one.

Jackie Lee: TLDR- My BRAND NEW car had a massive dent on the hood, as well as a malfunctioning seatbelt sensor in the back. Even with these issues, this dealership was not willing to help. The dealrship is difficult to work with, hard to communicate/reach, and will not help unless you constalty message them for help.I am quite disappointed in the experience of buying my first new car through Lafontaine Mazda and I wouldn't recommend this dealership.I had heard great things about the Lafontaine dealership, so I decided to purchase my first new vehicle through them. At first, they seemed kind as I drove off the lot with the car.When I got home, I noticed a huge dent on my brand new vehicle hood. When I contacted the sales person regarding this issue, they kept denying seeing the dent until I brought the vehicle in again to the dealership, which then they offered to fix it through the dealership.Other than the hood dent, the seatbelt sensor in the backseat is also malfunctioning and there is a massive gouge on the leather dash.For these inconvinences, when I asked for a compensation/complimentory serivce, they ignored my texts for days at a time. After going back and fourth for ~3 weeks, all they offered me was a $50 gas card. Quite realistically, the $50 gas does not even cover gas from the round trip to the dealership and to the bodyshop to fix a BRAND NEW car that came with defects.This dealership will continiously make excuses that the General Manager is busy and that they cannot help me, though they sold me a defect car.
Hyung Lee (Hugh): The dealer sold a new car with multiple defects. I don't think their multi point inspection process was properly working to detect even an obvious and visible defect (e.g., an adult head size dent on the hood, etc.).

Angel Aguilera: I’m a former sales representative my self, however since I’m not longer in the business I purchased a car from this dealership about a month and a half ago. There was a mileage discrepancy on the title (which wasn’t directly addressed until after the purchase). Given the 15 day period has come and gone to have it corrected, now with expired tags, I contacted the dealership. I’ve been given the run around on several accounts. From finance isn’t in, to they haven’t responded, to being transferred and receiving a voicemail that was never returned. I personally dealt with Kevin Christensen, the used sales representative. He was overall nice, but he didn’t listen to our needs and he tried to sell us at 2.5X more than we were looking. Then after hours of finagling with other options we finally settled for a vehicle we’ve come to love. Now these back and forth games regarding a titling issue that doesn’t show the car in my name or plated properly and nothing is being done. Don’t think I’ll ever return to a dealership that can’t communicate and correct a simple error that takes merely 1-3 business days to correct. Go to Secretary of State to file for a correction and most are returned quickly given the short period of time allotted to correct titling errors.

Ever since they had taken over Ralph Thayer, customer service has been extremely lacking AND they won’t honor a previous purchase service maintenance plan that I made with Ralph Thayer! They claim that Ralph Thayer did not pay them but still want customers like myself who purchased this plan to still pay for this service which is rolled into monthly payments. LaFontaine knew what they were getting themselves into when they had taken over Ralph Thayer. I’m still waiting on a follow up call from the service manager, Michael back from January that I have yet to receive. I have then, contacted a few agencies to help me resolve this matter with NO REPLY from this dealership. This is so unbelievable and can’t believe they are treating customers this way!
