Worm: Their meat is the highest quality you will find and their customer service is exceptional.I stopped by to pick up an order today that I accidentally placed for the wrong date. The butcher politely explained this to me and said he could cut my order for me in about 15 minutes if I didn't mind waiting. He returned in about 5 minutes with my order and gave me a few recommendations on how to cook my A5 wagyu for the best experience. Sam Marino: What Fairway Packing Co did here absolutely amazed me ! I was heading out of town and contacted them to purchase some steaks on my way to the airport. The owner suggested, why don't we just ship it to you, we can have it there tomorrow, fresh. With my destination 1,500 Miles away I thought he was joking. This product was delivered exactly the next day via UPS. Perfectly packaged with ice and a cooler along with 2 beautiful TOMAHAWK CHOP DRY AGE CLASSIC WAGYU , 2 NY STRIP WAGYU, 2 FILET PRIME CREEKSTONE. The owner was nice enough to throw in some Fairway Steak Salt as well. I would recommend Fairway Packing to any one looking for a premium meat and an excellent service. Based on our conversation and my previous experience with them, I do believe that they genuinely try to offer high quality customer service, and this was a one-time fluke.ORIGINAL: It's painful to write this, because their meat is so good. But I'll never again order anything shipped from Fairway, because they significantly short-weighted an order and didn't respond to multiple emails. I'd ordered a Creekstone brisket, 14-17 pounds, to smoke for a crowd at our July 4 picnic. When it arrived, it looked small, so I put it on the scale: 12 pounds, 1 ounce, including the wrapping, which was below borderline for our party. I sent two emails to three different Fairway addresses -- no response from anyone. I ended up having to run to Costco at the last minute to buy a larger brisket.Their meat is always excellent, and I've had great service in the past when I stopped at their facility in Detroit. But I'll never again order anything to be shipped.

Alisa LC: "Where's the Beef?" It's right here at Fairway Packing located in Detroit's Eastern Market and it's an amazing find. While they supply their perfectly-aged, prime meats to some of the finest restaurants in town, they are also open to the public. I tried the pork and a steak and both were melt-in-your-mouth, "like buttah" delicious! You can order directly from their website. I'll be back for sure. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

JT H.: Best meat I've ever had. I've ordered and picked up from location a couple times. The wagyu burgers are amazing, tender with so much flavor on the grill. Note* when grilling the burgers or steaks, I do mine on a cast iron grill plate to prevent flare up. The wagyu NY strip and Tomahawk Ribeye are beyond words. When cooked correctly, speachless, my next purchase will be the whole untrimmed wagyu reserve tenderloin roast. Keep up the great work Fairway, and I'll keep making and sharing my recommendations.

Blake Burns: Appointment was at 6:00am showed up early didn't get unloaded till 4:16pm over 10 hours then after paying lumper took another hour to get my paperwork place is a joke

Michael Verdict: Was told by facility I could check in early and they would get me unloaded. Checked in 0800 for a 1000 appt. Called with a dock door at 1145. Didn't get finished till 1300. Tight road with a lot of traffic. Not the best place to be.

Quantum Singularity: First time here as a contractor for a third party. 6am appointment. Arrived on time. Put in staging. After 7am still in staging. They have a bathroom for the drivers, but it's in the office area, and they have to buzz you in. Parking on Chrysler Dr. I haven't been to their actual staging lot but didn't want to get stuck or have to blindside back into the doors whenever they call saying they have a door ready... I was put in the door around 8am and looks like they are just finishing up at 9:40am as the light just turned green, so just waiting on paperwork. Backing wasn't too tight despite other people's complaints about that but then I have about 5 years of OTR experience.

commander deathwatch: This is my 2nd day here the 1st day I checked in I was here for 7 and a 1/2 hours before I was able to leave today I've been here 13 Hours and I'm just now getting loaded Real tight to get into I hope you know how to drive Besides that people were OK minus the fact that I was here for 13 Hours that I forget to say that I was here for 13 But look at this way you gotta sits Somewhere to reset at least you don't get to pay for parking

Chris M: Honestly the other reviews are not 100 percent accurate. I’ve been here a few times and I’ve gotten here early the day before and they always unload me within an hour of my appt. Time or on time. Get here mid day before so you can grab one of the 12 spots off the street. You won’t get one in the evening or night. You park check in with security then walk your paperwork to door 15 where they tell you they will call you. Pray for door 9 or 10 because you can go forward on the side street and just back right in. Other doors it will be tight. You can go down to end of street and turn around so it’s not blind side.

Xaviar Fideli: Well first first time here got here Saturday for a Monday checked in with the guard shack like all of the signs say. Had to wake her up to do that. But you still need to check in with receiving at dor-15 nobody mentioned this. 9 Saturday night yarddog asked me what I had said might be able to get you in on Sunday cuz we're slow. Still needed to check in he did mention that. Checked in an hour and a half early for my appointment still waiting for a door down this klusterfuk of a street.

Walk your bills to the office past the docks at the end not the door before the docks. Write your number on the bills they either call you or come get you when they want you. Then so you dont have to blind side go to the end of the street and make a u turn at the stop sign. You can do it i have a 389 petey of room. Definitely not a hard back at all im not sure why people are saying your skills will be tested i let my dog back in while i was in my bunk eating soup. Hope this helps be safe drivers
